Anesu was the perfect guide from beginning to end. He was so knowledgeable about the area and all of the history. He also kept us entertained the entire day. We could not have pictured a better day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Table Mountain cableway is our next stop. Here you will use your ticket you purchased online to skip the ticketing line, and move directly to the cable car line. Explore one of the Seven Wonders of Nature and see Cape Town from new heights.
Upon your return from Table Mountain, we proceed along the Atlantic Seaboard and pass through the beautiful coastline of Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camps Bay. Cape Point is an absolute wonder to experience. The landscape and natural vegetation will leave you starry-eyed and wonderstruck. Here you may opt for a short 15 minute hike to the Cape Point lighthouse or take the Flying Dutchman Funicular instead of walking. Peak through the telescope and view amazing sights. Lunch options are available at either the Two Oceans Restaurant for a sit down seafood lunch with panoramic views of the ocean, or a take-away from the informal eatery, both at Cape Point.
Simon Town is the navy capital of Cape Town and most importantly the home to the African penguins. Come spend time with the cutest penguins you will see. The boardwalks give you broad exposure to what life is like for the little penguins, it is an absolute treat and definitely a good way to have your penguin encounter at Boulders Penguins Colony.
St James and Muizenberg are two of the best beaches in Cape Town and found on the coast of the beautiful False Bay. Step out at St. James to take a photo with the colourful beach huts.
After a beautiful day out in the Cape Peninsula, you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Cape Town at approximately 18:00pm.

Ray really enhanced this day trip for us! He is informative and friendly, really welcoming and has a great balance of maintaining interesting conversation without talking “at you,” which some guides struggle with. We loved every part of our tour from Table Mountain (where we were very lucky with the weather) to the penguins to the Cape. Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful!
We had a lovely memorable day made unforgettable by the wonderful Ray! He was informative delivering facts in an amusing manner making for what would seem a long day pass in the blink of an eye! He tailored the day to match what we were looking for, incorporating coffee stops & lunch along the way, obviously very experienced as neither made a dent in our sightseeing plans. We couldn’t recommend Ray highly enough, we all had a thoroughly enjoyable day managing to see everything planned (Table Mountain, Simon’s Town, Boulders Beach Penguins & Cape of Good Hope); & more. Thank you Ray, your time & energy made our day 😊
Ray was an absolute rockstar—without question, the best tour guide I've ever had anywhere in the world. No, not an exaggeration. From the moment our tour began, we were blown away by his wit, depth of knowledge, and incredible ability to seamlessly connect history, culture, politics, architecture, wildlife, and local life into one unforgettable experience. Every stop came alive because of the stories and insights he shared. My family travels often, and it's incredibly rare to meet someone as knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate as Ray. He went so far above and beyond anything we expected. He made us feel like VIP guests throughout the entire day, taking the time to answer every question, tailor the experience to our interests, and make sure we left with a much deeper appreciation for Cape Town and South Africa. Ray set the tone for our entire stay and made us even more excited to explore this beautiful country. Thank you for an absolutely AMAZING experience. We truly hope our paths cross again someday. If you're considering booking with Ray, don't hesitate. It will be one of the highlights of your trip. Hugs!
Ray is a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and fun to be around. We truly enjoyed our Cape Town excursion.
Our tour of Cape Town was incredible!! Thankfully we were blessed with great weather but our guide Ray was so knowledgeable and had a wealth of information. He was enthusiastic and shared personal stories that we loved!! We learned so much about Cape Town but also about the culture. It couldn’t have been a better tour!!
Wonderful day with Roger. He is fun, knowledgeable, safe and accommodating. Best day out there!
Collen was terrific guide. Great experience- would recommend to friends and family. Many things to see in just one day.
For one of the first times we used Viator for a tour, our private tour of Cape Town far exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have been happier. We had just disembarked from a disappointing cruise as we missed 4 excursions from the cruiseline due to weather. Our guide, Collen Booi, was the best guide we could have had. The weather forecast was grim but he worked around the weather to make sure we were able to see all of the itinerary plus more. He was so friendly and knowledgable and we learned so much about the country and the culture. He was flexible on our pick up time and drop off and we had no issues meeting up with him after disembarking from the ship. It was truly one of the best experiences we had and Collen helped make our first time to South Africa a trip to remember.
We took the Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain & Penguins Tour in Cape Town, South Africa on May 11, and what started as a very stressful morning turned into one of the most memorable days of our trip. The weather was terrible. A major storm had started the day before, and I was extremely worried because we had booked this tour months in advance. I contacted the activity provider several times asking about cancellation because of the rain and high winds. They explained that the parks were still open, even though Table Mountain had closed because of the storm. I was frustrated and upset and even called Viator very angrily that morning. Thankfully, our driver and guide, Mo, completely changed the experience for us. Mo was absolutely outstanding. He was calm, kind, encouraging, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Since Table Mountain was closed, he even offered alternatives like a museum or winery visit. Despite the cold weather and heavy rain, he made sure we still had a wonderful day. My best friend encouraged us to stop worrying and just enjoy the experience — and I am SO glad we did. Seeing the penguins and visiting the Cape of Good Hope in dramatic stormy weather actually became unforgettable. There were four of us — my best friend, our husbands, and me — and we travel the world together. This tour ended up being one of our favorite memories from Cape Town. If you visit Cape Town, take this tour — and absolutely request Mo as your driver and guide. He made all the difference. Thank you, Viator, for another great travel experience!
We had only 3 days in our visit in Cape Town and we are super happy to have booked this private full day tour. Ray our guide was very accommodating as we wished to have some changes for our tour. We went up to Tablw Mountain with him and for sure got the best views before rush hour as he suggested an early departure. Bo-kaap and other city center sights were included before we head out to Cape Point area to see everything possible from Simonstown penguins to Cape of Good Hope and Cape point. Lots of photo stops and plenty of interesting infomation in clean safely driven vehicle. A day we really enjoyed!
This tour covers the basic for a first visit to Cape Town, especially if you have just one day for tourism. Very good visit to the whoel peninsula as well as Table Mountain. The guide is amaziong, has shared a bunch of interesting information and has been amazingly knowledgeable. It was some sort of a hook for me to wanting to come back to Cape Town and spend more days - what a beautiful city and surroindings
Full day. Lots of history, learned a lot. Alex was very friendly & knowledgeable. Would have liked more time on Table Mtn & going on Boulder beach ( didn’t have our ticket as driver got us in and left us wandering for a bit) We probably should have voiced this more so partially our fault. Overall great day.
Ruben is an excellent tour guide. we had a fabulous day of sightseeing at Table Mountain abd the cape. At Boulder Beach we had great fish and chips along the sea. When you plan know that if you dont upgrade your ticket for cable car at Table Mountain for the fast pass the lines will be at least 45 minutes extra to go up. We had opted fir extra when we signed up so all tickets prepaid and thought it included the fast pass but it did not soe we upgraded when we arrived. Highly recommend fast pass. Wonderful day.
Excellent tour and very accommodating tour operator. First off, our cruise ship departure time was moved ahead from what had been originally indicated, because of South Africa told the ship when they wanted it to depart. So, after exchanging messages with the operator, our start time was moved ahead. Then the weather forecast leading up to our tour date indicated high winds starting in the afternoon, which we expected would shut down the cable car ride up to the top of Table Mountain. This was a concern, as this part of the tour was going to be the last item. So, still a little earlier start, but the order of events was changed so that we were able to get everything in. Only negative I have, and this is no reflection on the operator, was that the visit to Boulder's beach to view the penguins was a bit disappointing. We were under the impression that people were allowed to actually swim with the penguins, so were expecting to actually walk on the beach with them. Viewing was limited to a raised boardwalk. In light of the pressure on their continued survival, I can understand separating us humans from the birds, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. In two other global locations we did actually walk and swim among penguins. Our driver Roland was excellent.
Great tour of all that surrounds Cape Town. Our guide Alex did a terrific job of both showing us the highlights and providing interesting information. If you book, as for Alex.
Pedro was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. We were really able to cover so much of Cape Town in one day.
We had an outstanding day with Ray, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a good laugh. We did the full day tour of Cape Towns iconic sites, and Ray told us many interesting facts about each location, we also learnt alot about the history of South Africa, which he was passionate about. We would highly recommend Ray as your guide, photographer and of course this tour. It opened our eyes to this beautiful city and surrounding areas. Thank you Ray.
Wonderful way to see Capetown if you have limited time. Our guide was prompt, very informative and so pleasant to spend the day with. Highly recommend!!
Ray was an incredible tour guide and we got to see so much of Cape Town during our tour. He is so knowledgeable and was so accommodating to what we wanted to see. If I ever visit Cape Town again I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
It was a great tour, our guide Rolin did a great job. He is a master at avoiding queues. He personalized the trip to our wishes. We had a fantastic day!
It was an outstanding experience. Table Mountain was awesome! The whole tour was enjoyable. Our guide, Ray, was an excellent communicator and very knowledgeable about each site. We're looking forward to returning to Cape Town and continuing the adventure.
Fantastic day, everything we had hoped for and more. Our guide, Ray, was absolutely amazing. He was very friendly and easy to talk to and we learnt so much from him. We took some brilliant photos and made such good memories. It was a long day but well worth it!
The guide on the safari was amazing. Getting there was outstanding also, Michael gave us a history lesson about the country of South Africa as we travelled to the game preserve.
This was one of the best things we decided to do our trip to Cape Town. The tour was amazing and our private driver Ray was wonderful. He had more knowledge than I would’ve ever expected. He taught us all about South Africa while driving us around and showing us amazing sights. We saw Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and the penguins along will several beautiful views of the beaches in the area. He was always willing to be our personal camera man and that was a nice touch. We have said that if we return to Cape Town, we will do whatever it takes to book another private excursion having him as our driver.
I recently took a private tour of the Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain, and the penguin colony in Cape Town, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide Ray was exceptional—professional, eloquent, and incredibly knowledgeable about the sights. He made the day enjoyable with engaging conversations and his impressive photography skills. The clean, black Mercedes Benz added a touch of luxury to our adventure. If you're looking to explore the beauty of Cape Town, don’t hesitate—book your adventure with Ray! You won’t regret it!
Complete trip was amazing, with great memories to remember about our trip in Cape Town. Very nice guide Leon that present us the places including a lot of history
Ray was our personal guide for the day and we have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. He picked us up on time in a clean and comfortable car with water bottles provided. Because of clouds on Table Mountain he switched the itinerary around so that we went later in the day once the clouds had gone. He was very friendly and informative and was happy to stop in lots of places for photo opportunities. He knew the best places to go to see things, get great coffee and the most amazing lunch stop that we would never have found on our own. His knowledge on a vast range of subjects was peppered with humour which added to the enjoyment of the day. This is a must do tour and guide if you are in Cape Town.
Ray was a fantastic tour guide, communicated from the day before, helped to make sure we arrived at certain areas at certain times to avoid the queues, so knowledgeable and easy to talk with. The trip was full of so many amazing places, things to see and things to learn. Thank you so much Ray, I highly recommend the tour and you to anyone wanting this experience!
Ray was the most accommodating, charming, and informative tour guide! He customized the trip for us in order to see the most extraordinary landscapes, and he also gave us a wonderful tour of Cape Town. He also offered to take wonderful pictures of our family and entertained us on the drive with stories from South Africa! We highly recommend this tour!
My husband and I went on an incredible tour of cape of good hope and boulders beach with Ray! We are so happy we went on the private tour because it meant we could customise it. We didn’t want to go out to the seal colony which meant we could spend longer at some of the other stops whereas if we had been on a group tour we would have needed to stop there. Our guide Ray was fantastic! He was so warm and friendly and he knew so much information about each stop on the tour and also more generally about South Africa. He was so willing to answer all our questions and he was so kind at all the stops in taking our photos. Really recommend this private tour! It was the best day we spent in Cape Town.
I recently took a private tour of the Cape Town area with Kasi Africa. Our guide, Ray, was very knowledgable and able to talk about both the area, as well as the history of South Africa in a captivating way. He also made sure we saw as much as possible during the day in spite of the city's two biggest attractions - Table Mountain cable car and Chapman's Peak Drive - being closed. Thank you!
We had a fabulous tour with Ray. He picked us up at our hotel, right on time. He had a very comfortable vehicle and was a great guide. He took us to all the places we were excited to go to and he gave us tons of information about each place. The highlight of the tour for me was Boulders Beach. Seeing the penguins up close was an amazing experience. We loved the Chapman's Peak drive and appreciated Ray stopping at all the best photo spots. He even took us to the perfect place for lunch, which is not necessarily an easy task since I'm vegan and my husband is vegetarian. We loved Ray and would definitely do another tour with him if the opportunity arose.
I had an unforgettable day exploring Cape Town with Kasi Africa Safari! Ray, my guide, was fantastic. His knowledge, friendly demeanor, and enthusiasm made the trip truly special. From the stunning views to the fascinating stories, every moment was enjoyable. As a solo traveler, I felt completely at ease and well taken care of. Ray ensured I saw the best sights and had plenty of opportunities for great photos. I highly recommend Kasi Africa Safari and Tour for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Cape Town. Ray made my day absolutely perfect!
Our guide Ray was exceptionally informative about the Cape area but also many aspects of SA life. He was very flexible with the plan for the day and navigated very challenging weather conditions in a way that ensured we enjoyed the best the Cape could offer. The experience was a memorable one that has been a highlight of our holiday so far! I would strongly recommend the private tour and our very knowledgeable guide!
Ray was my guide for the day and he was a total star. He gave such a detailed history and took me to all of the places listed and it was truly a memorable day
This tour was Awesome and our tour guide Ray was AMAZING!!!! He was very Knowledgeable about the area and showed us everything we wanted to see and more! Cape of Good Hope and seeing the penguins was everything! Book this tour and you will NOT be disappointed! Thank You Ray!
We had absolutely a wonderful day! Jean Claude was an excellent guide! He made it so easy taking us to all of the places. He would stop so we could take pictures of the stunning views and we learned so much about the history from him. Truly a fabulous day.
Excellent communication by supplier. Superb guide, Jean Claude. Flexible with my wishes and tour went at a pace to suit me. We covered everything. Comfortable vehicle. Ideal tour in Cape Town
Great experience with Ray from Kasi Africa Safari & Tours. Ray took care of all the administration so we could enjoy the tour. He provided excellent education of South Africa and the places we visited. I was on the tour with my pregnant wife and two small children and he greatly accommodated our needs and took extra care of us. Can’t wait to be able to do another tour with Ray!

The driver was very neat and very safe and helpful and knowledgeable with the sights. He was also flexible on the trip.
This tour and guide were excellent. Viatours however is a complete waste of time. On two occasions we have needed assistance and every time they have let us down. There communication/confirmation has come after the event and I willl not use them again in the future. Great to book a tour but if you need anything else you are on your own or read a script. I would not recommend this dashboard at all. Dismal
Our guide, Muammer, was the best choice. We had a fantastic tour. He was informative, knowledgeable, and made the experience one to remember. He shared a lot of tips and insider info, and he accommodated all of our requests. We sincerely thank him and shall recommend him to anyone seeking a great experience.
Nice trip. Smaller group Great access to penguin habitat great guide and friendly group. Recommended trip from Cape Town
Our day began with a prompt hotel lobby pickup by Muamar in our hotel lobby, we visited the Cape Point National Park and Lightouse- with gorgeous views of the beaches and dreamy hued bays/ ocean. We saw penguins and learned more about the African penguin and then had all our questions about what we saw along the drive, information about various cities/ areas/ bays -got plenty of steps descending before heading to other vistas en route to a delicious lunch spot( on our dime as noted in cost of tour)! We even saw ostriches! Table Rock’s cable car 360 degree vistas and walk about around the top were breathtaking!
Loved the penguins & taking the cable car to the top of the mountain was very cool. It was foggy on our way up but cleared up so we could see both sides of the ocean. Many interesting areas in Cape Town & our driver/guide was great!
Fabulous experience, loved the private tour of all the main attractions. Our driver, Rolin, was awesome, he knew so much and made our experience very memorable. We highly recommend him. Car very clean and comfortable.
What an amazing tour - probably one of the best we have taken in any country. Our guide, Ray, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of Cape Town and the surrounding areas. His timing was prefect in getting us to places to avoid crowds/queues. Highly recommend and would do it again!
Our guide was interesting and informative around every corner. Ibby was full of interesting information all day long. He knew the history of the area as we traveled and filled us full of details. The sights were spectacular, the van was comfortable and had clean windows for pictures and viewing. Kasi African Tour - small groups and just wonderful.
