The tour was made special by our guide Patrick. He has a vast knowledge of the animals, the geography and the history of the Cape. He was animated and truly enjoys being a guide.

Patrick is an amazing guide! He made sure we had a fabulous day and he tailored the tour to our wishes. He shared his incredible depth of knowledge on wildlife, flora, history, culture. The itinerary is amazing, I can't believe we saw so much in such a short amount of time. Absolutely breathtaking.
Just returned from a fabulous trip with Patrick! Very friendly, accommodating and more importantly knowledgeable! Thank you, we had a great day and highly recommended!!
Patrick was a fantastic tour guide and host. He was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating on our morning tour. We saw the Cape in all is natural wonder made even more enjoyable with Patrick’s input and guidance. Highly recommend.
Patrick is a fantastic tour guide, knows everything about the area, friendly and chatty. You will see all the highlights of the cape and the penguins too.
Our guide, Patrick, was very knowledgeable, very nice and a safe driver. He had many stories to tell about history, his experiences in the area, and was able to answer many of our questions. We were not rushed at any stop and he was willing to pull over many times for photo ops. I highly recommend a tour with Patrick!
Couldn’t imagine a better tour of Cape Town! Patrick knows so much about the area and its history. This experience was very well worth the money.
Our guided tour with Patrick was excellent. The tour covered everything we wanted to see and do. Patrick was very knowledgeable. Patrick answered all of our questions. Definitely recommend him as a guide.
It was a memorable trip, full of beautiful views. The guide Kobus made it entertaining in spite of rainy weather.
Frank was our guide. Amazing man, well traveled and smart, His knowledge of geography, history and politics was a plus to the trip, He even went over our allotted time which was above and beyond. Patrick is the coordinator and I give him a 10++ overall!
Very knowledgeable guide, very interesting history and information about the area. He was great with the kids, they are twin boys age 10.
One of the highlights of our time in Cape Town. The tour was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much to Patrick who arrived to collect us from our hotel on time and who was so friendly and informative. Apart from the penguins which we saw at Boulders Beach we saw seals, baboons, ostriches and an eland. We loved the remoteness of the Cape of Good Hope and the scenic drive along Chapman's Park. this tour is a DEFINITE MUST DO! If we're lucky enough to be back in Cape Town we will be contacting Patrick again for sure for more adventures.
Excellent tour! Patrick was a great guide, full of knowledge and very informative. Even though it was winter time, we saw penguins in abundance, baboons (keep those windows closed!), dassie, ostrich, seals, comarants, gulls, and even a few field mice at an overlook! Scenery was amazing. What made this really great was that our booking was originally for Thursday and the weather forecast was for TONS of rain and clouds (not good for an outdoor tour!). Patrick was more than willing to accommodate a switch in dates to Friday (the next day) where the day was mostly sunny and a much better option. We were able to make this change the Wednesday before. This was a great tour with no bad surprises and lots of good things to see. Highly recommend!!
Our guide Patrick was excellent. The day was overcast and rainy, but that did not diminish the experience. We saw the penguins first, then the cape. Because of the weather, there were few people at each. At the cape, prepare to hike and climb. There is a funicular at Cape Point, but it was not running. Even if it were, it’s still a climb up some steps to get to the lookout. Wear comfortable shoes, and bring a raincoat! On the drive back, the cliffs along the ocean reminded us of Big Sur. We highly recommend this tour with Patrick!
Our guide Patrick was great. His knowledge was extremely helpful and insightful. Absolutely recommendable!
Patrick! What an exceptional tour guide. So much knowledge, Patrick was punctual and accomodating, no pressure on time restraint and we were able to stop to take pictures with ease. Safe driver and made the trip comfortable. This is the best half day tour for families with pre teen/teens, not wanting to spend 10hrs on tour, we covered interesting sites.
What a day I had! Saw penguins, zebra, antelopes, ostriches, baboons…. beaches, ocean from many different places, amazing nature… So many wonderful things on the peninsula. Patrick is a great tour guide. He knows everything about everything. He taught me so much about so many things: history, nature, wildlife, social habits… we stopped menu times and I took a great amount of amazing pictures (I had a cigaret on a few stops :-)) It it wasn’t for Patrick, this trip would never be so fulfilling. Thank you Patrick.
Patrick was amazing from start to finish! He recommended leaving earlier and he was so right as we missed every queue to see all parts! His knowledge was extensive and very flexible on when we wanted to stay longer!
AMAZING guide. We booked this tour as we realized we still had so much to see with only one day left in Cape Town. Our guide was flexible on the agenda, and was extremely knowledgeable. He found us all the best spots for photos and views. He was a safe driver and would do another tour with him in a heart beat.
We booked our half day private tour the day before. The confirmation online was immediate with response via wattsapp as well. Patrick is an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, safe driver and patient. Would recommend to book with him.
I wish we had six stars for this review! Just went on this tour with Patrick as our guide - he has a fantastic wealth of knowledge, fun and is a very safe driver. Beautiful views & we had lots of time to see the penguins, take photos and enjoy the walks and scenery - we would definitely recommend this tour - 100% Thank you for a wonderful morning!
Amazing trip with fantastic views and a chance to see the African Penguins and other wildlife including ostriches and a baboon carrying its baby.
This was an amazing morning. Patrick was a fantastic guide. He told us so much about the history, ecology, political economy, etc.. But it just felt like a chat with an old friend, not a tour guide. Definitely to be recommended, particularly if only in Cape Town for a limited time.
We had a great day with Patrick - he was a great guide and was really knowledge about the area and South Africa more generally. We saw loads and the trip was a highlight of our Cape Town stay!
The tour with Patrick and Rafique was great. Perfectly organized and really flexible depending on our needs. We had so much fun and discovered so many new things. Patrick explained everything and told us many interesting background stories. For me it was an unforgettable experience and I can recommend this tour 100%
Patrick was the most cheerful, knowledgeable, and engaging tour guide I could have hoped for! We were able to see all the sites and a few animals we didn’t expect to see!
Patrick was our guide, and within a few minutes, we were old friends. He took us to places that we would have missed on our own. He is a very charismatic and fun, not to mention that he is a wealth information. He told us the basic information (that you can get from a tour book), but he shared little tidbits of local culture and scandal that only a long time resident would know. We had a great time. Don't miss it. He was a very safe and alert driver, so we never felt uncomfortable in the least.
5 Stars to our tour guide. Fabulous scenery! Truly a must do and see experience. If you are considering this event, do not hesitate.
Patrick was an outstanding guide. He took us to just the places we wanted to go to. The tour was neither to short nor too long. We saw the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point funicular and lighthouse, and saved the best for last - the penguins at Boulder's beach. He drove very safely and was a treasure trove of information. This was the perfect time to travel because at some places, we were the only tourists. We would highly recommend his company for this tour from Cape Town.
I had a wonderful tour. Saw lots of penguins. The whole tour was very enjoyable and Patrick was an excellent tour guide. I highly recommend the tour. My husband couldn't go on the tour so it was just me.
We only had a half-day left and this was a great way to see Cape Point, the penguins near Boulder Beach and Chapman's Peak!
We didn't feel that Cape Point justified a whole day, so we booked this half-day tour and we were not disappointed. Our knowledgeable guide picked us up at our hotel and took us by a very interesting route to Cape Point. As a local, she was able to show us many interesting and unusual sights. We had a very good drive via Hout Bay and Chapmans Peak during which we saw lots and many anecdotes were shared. On the way we saw klipspringer, ostrich and many other native animals. Having climbed to the old lighthouse and taken pictures at the Cape, we returned to the Cape Town area via the eastern coast, calling at Simon's Town and Muizenberg, following which the guide left us at Table Mountain for our afternoon visit.
Cape Town Tour For our short stay in Cape Town, we chose a half-day tour that took us to the Cape of Good Hope and back. When we were looking through the many offers, we quickly noticed Patrick's. The reviews also spoke for him and so we booked the tour. On the day of the tour, Patrick picked us up right on time at the hotel and greeted us. We then set off on the tour straight away and were given detailed explanations about Cape Town. All of our questions were also answered in detail and he always responded to our requests for extra stops. So we were able to experience an absolute 5-star tour for two. In addition to English, Patrick also speaks fluent French. However, as we found English more comfortable, we preferred this. We always felt very comfortable and safe with Patrick the whole time. The tour even lasted a little longer than we had booked because we still had some time before boarding at the port. We can therefore only highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a tour guide for Cape Town and wants to experience an eventful few hours. A chance to revive history and see the sea that Vasco da Gama crossed on the way to the Indies. The view is very interesting. Imperdible
Very beautiful landscapes of a historic point of Portuguese navigation. I did the walk between Cabo da Boa Esperança and Cape Point lighthouse, this walk allows you to see and go to the beach Dias. In addition to the landscape it is possible to see some animals such as ostrichs, babuins and elands. Very careful in Cape Point there is a restaurant where you can eat (for now only take away) and you have to be careful with the babuins, they are attracted to the food, there are warnings affixed and even some guards watching them but even so it is not a guarantee that there will be incidents.
