Our first stop is Bo-Kaap, known for its colourful houses, cobblestone streets and rich Cape Malay heritage. Enjoy a short walk, learn about the area’s history and take some memorable photos.
Next, enjoy a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, passing Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camps Bay. Stop at Maiden’s Cove for beautiful views of the coastline, Twelve Apostles and Table Mountain, with time for photos.
Continue along the Twelve Apostles mountain range, passing the coastal village of Llandudno. Enjoy beautiful ocean and mountain views, with plenty of photo opportunities along the way.
Hout Bay is a peaceful coastal village with sandy beaches, surrounded by mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Its natural beauty, calm waters, and charming harbor make it a scenic place to visit.
At Hout Bay Harbour, you can take an optional 45-minute boat trip to Duiker Island to see Cape fur seals in their natural habitat. If you prefer to stay ashore, explore the harbour and local craft market. The boat trip may add about an hour to the tour.
Continue along Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the Cape Peninsula’s most famous scenic routes. Enjoy dramatic cliffside views over the Atlantic Ocean, with photo stops at selected viewpoints along the way.
We continue our journey through Noordhoek, where travelers have the option to make a stop for some of the finest roasted coffee at The Village Roast along this route.
You’ll have the option to enjoy lunch at a selected restaurant in either Simon’s Town or Cape Point, depending on the day’s schedule.
Continue to Boulders Beach, where you can see African penguins in their natural habitat. Walk along the boardwalk for close-up views as they rest on the rocks and swim in False Bay, while your tour guide shares more about their behaviour and conservation.
Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, part of Table Mountain National Park. Explore the dramatic coastline, see the historic Dias Cross, admire the unique fynbos, and look out for wildlife such as ostriches, baboons, antelope and birdlife.
Visit the Cape of Good Hope, the most south-westerly point of Africa. Stop at the famous sign, enjoy dramatic coastal views, and choose an optional guided walk along one of the scenic trails.
After the Cape of Good Hope, continue with a short drive to Cape Point. Walk up to the historic lighthouse or take the Flying Dutchman Funicular at your own expense. Enjoy sweeping coastal views and learn more about the area’s maritime history.
As we pass by Fish Hoek Beach, you’ll notice the soft white sand and the warm Indian Ocean waters.
On the return journey, stop at Muizenberg Beach for photos of the colourful beach huts, traffic permitting. If traffic is heavy, continue via scenic Boyes Drive with beautiful views over False Bay and the coastline.
You will be dropped off at your hotel within the 8 km drop-off radius of Cape Town city centre. If you are staying outside this area, drop off will be at VIDA E CAFFÈ KLOOF STREET.

All the friends really enjoyed the tour. Elias is an excellent tour guide. Highly recommended!
Kelvin did an amazing job keeping us informed & laughing on our tour. Although it was a rainy day- he made sure we made the best of our time visiting each spot. We especially loved the penguins.
Booked on Sunday for a Monday trip as I was only 2 days in cape town. Sadly the canceled Monday morning at pick up time.
Our guide, Fiston, was very professional and knowledgeable about all of the locations we visited. The van we rode in was clean and he kindly provided us with water bottles. The pace of the tour was great and we never felt rushed You do have to pay for the fees to enter the parks which was listed in the description. I highly recommend this trip if you’re visiting Cape Town for the first time! We really enjoyed it :)

We spent the day exploring the Cape Peninsula with Real Africa Travel Tours and it was honestly packed with highlights. The boat trip in Hout Bay was a great way to start, fresh air, seals, and nice views of the harbour. Then we drove Chapman’s Peak, and the road itself felt like an attraction, with so many beautiful viewpoints along the way. Boulders Beach was special, seeing the penguins walking around freely was something I didn’t expect to enjoy so much. Cape Nature Reserve and the Cape of Good Hope were dramatic and raw, with incredible landscapes and ocean views that photos can’t fully capture. We finished at Muizenberg, which was relaxed and colourful, a nice calm ending after a full day. The tour felt well paced, not rushed, and the guide made it easy and enjoyable. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town.
What a brilliant day around the Cape Peninsula with Real Africa Travel Tours. The seal boat trip in Hout Bay was a fun start, then the drive along Chapman’s Peak was just breathtaking, easily one of the most scenic roads in the world. Seeing the penguins at Boulders Beach was a highlight, they’re so close and relaxed. The Cape Peninsula tour was one of those days that reminds you why Cape Town is so special. Chapman’s Peak Drive felt like a movie scene, with the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. Seeing the penguins up close was fun and unexpected, and standing at the Cape of Good Hope felt powerful and peaceful at the same time. It’s a perfect mix of nature, wildlife, and scenery. I would do this tour again without thinking twice.
The Cape Peninsula tour was a truly spectacular experience. Driving along Chapman’s Peak offered breathtaking ocean views, followed by a close-up encounter with the African penguins. Visiting the Cape of Good Hope was the highlight, standing at one of the most iconic points in Africa. This tour combines natural beauty, wildlife, and history in one perfect day. Ideal for first-time visitors and nature lovers.
Long day. Early start. Very busy and you get to see lots of different sights and enjoy a variety of places.
This tour was the highlight of my trip, and it wouldn’t have been the same without Dudu’s exceptional guidance. I had the privilege to make some new friends with the other women who booked this trip. If you’re considering a tour, do yourself a favor and book with them—you won’t regret it!
Darlington was a fantastic guide. Beautiful scenery. So glad we booked this excursion! Driving on our own would have been tough. Had a lovely lunch at Betty’s.
This was an amazing experience with a fantastic host (Kelvin) and great vehicle. We visited beautiful breathtaking places and had lunch in a very good restaurant as well. We had a pick up from our place of accommodation and the host & company had great communication all the time, updating us on everything. It’s an experience worth it. I recommend it to everyone visiting CPT! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The tour was very pleasant. Especially with Duduzile as a guide we could learn a lot about the story. A great experience
Very comfortable trip in minivan. Dreamlike route with lots of nature and good information from the guide. The stops were ideally planned and the tour was not boring despite the long journey times. The recommended lunchtime restaurant in Simon’s Town was very delicious. Value for money top. I would book the tour again at any time. It's worth it. Duduzile was perfect as a guide. She took a lot of humor, knowledge and also great photos of us.
