We had an amazing tour! Our guide Peter told us lots of small stories about Africa (with a sense of humor), so the long drives between sights never felt boring — he shared so much about local history and culture. We were super lucky that day: on the road alone we saw baboons, zebras, and goats — like a mini safari. Then at the islands, the seals and penguins didn’t disappoint either. The weather at Good Hope Point was great. The restaurant we booked there was actually quite tasty. Even though it was a long drive, we didn’t feel tired at the end, because every 45-50 minutes we stopped at some nice little shops. There’s a coffee shop along the way I recommend — cyclists stop there too, and the coffee seems to be a local specialty. My friend bought some. Nearby there’s also a nice bakery worth checking out. At the Good Hope Point restaurant, most things were delicious. And if you have the energy, definitely do the walk — you’ll see people carrying surfboards heading down to the waves. My only regret is that if we had one more hour there, I could’ve gone down to the beach to hear the waves and come back. One small thing during booking — leave it as a suggestion or reminder here. I hadn't booked a tour like this before, so I didn't expect they would use WhatsApp to contact me. After arriving in South Africa, I switched to a local SIM card, so I didn't pay attention to the WhatsApp messages on my usual number — I was just waiting for an email. I think it would be helpful to clearly state on the booking page how you will contact customers. For me personally, I missed the message because I took out my home SIM card. But I heard that many travelers from mainland China cannot register for WhatsApp for some reason. After China and South Africa fully reopen for travel, more visitors may have this issue, so it's worth considering. Hope this explanation / suggestion helps!

We had a wonderful experience in Cape Town, and Albert played a big part in making it so memorable. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and his detailed explanations helped us appreciate the beauty and history of Cape Town even more. Thanks to his skillful guidance, everything felt smooth, comfortable, and well organized throughout the trip. Honestly, many of the experiences we enjoyed would have been difficult to arrange or fully appreciate on our own. We are extremely satisfied with the tour and would highly recommend Albert to anyone visiting Cape Town.
The experience was awesome and Peter our tour guide was knowledgeable about the biodiversity at the Boulders. We had fun
I took this adventure as a solo traveller, I would really commend this for anyone visiting South Africa and wanting to see a lot more in one day. The guide was absolutely fantastic and very, very knowledgeable. The entire day was told like a story, I was extremely eager to get more information as we were travelling, but the guy had a set plan and cadence for how information was delivered which made it even more engaging and interesting. The whole area tells such an interesting story, and the guide really amplified this. The trip took us to lots of varying places, beautiful sites and overall breathtaking spots. We were travelling in a group with both French speakers and English speakers, this may not be for everyone but the guy did a really really good job catering to both languages and explaining everything clearly as he could. The car was very comfortable and we could even charge our phones. They were around nine of us on the tour. During the trip, I was not forced to spend time with other people, instead there was time to do my own thing or spend time with other people as I would like. Who doesn’t love to see penguins as well! 🐧 It was a long trip and I would not recommend this for young infants. Make sure to buy your Table Mountain ticket before arriving, this was not totally clear, but the guy handled it very well. If you are on a budget, I would recommend bringing some lunch as the restaurant in the Cape of Good Hope was extremely expensive. Overall, I would recommend this trip to my friends and I had really amazing time. Booking was easy, the guide was amazing, a really great holiday experience.
The trip was excellent, everyone was very happy and impressed
Very recommendable tour, everything was well planned step by step, the penguins remained the highlight of my day, what a beautiful coastal landscape. Chapmans drive was my favourite scenic drive.
Wow! Amazing full day tour. Peter was great very informative and spoke with clarity like an audiobook narration, I highly recommend him you will have a fantastic day with no regrets. Thanks so much, you are the best.
Had an unforgettable Experience going along the coast line of Cape Town while visiting some beautiful coastal villages. The Boulders Beach was such an amazing experience seeing the Africans PENQUINS in their Natural Habitat, once in lifetime visit at the south most western point of Africa #The Cape of Good Hope. Fiston our guide was very friendly and helpful.
The staff are rude, very bad mannered and think they are superior to you. The staff behavior is so terrible that they don't care about you. They don't know anything about customer service. They charge extra but don't care about the service, they want money but don't think they have any responsibility for your safety. This is daylight robbery, save your money and eat here instead. There are many beautiful beaches that you can visit for free and you won't have to be tortured by the staff.
Our trip to Cape Town, South Africa was truly incredible and memorable. We booked a private luxury family tour with Lola Tours Cape Town with our family and the experience was absolutely perfect. The guide Peter was amazing, very polite, knowledgeable and understood the needs of traveling with a family very well. The entire tour was very comfortable, on time and perfectly planned. The natural beauty of the Cape of Good Hope was breathtaking. The view created by the sea and the mountains fascinated us all. We also got the chance to see African penguins up close at Boulders Beach. Camps Bay Beach was simply a dream with blue sea and a very peaceful atmosphere. Camps Bay creates an amazing atmosphere at sunset that is beyond words! We felt safe, comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire trip. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience!
My Wife and I visited Cape Town in early May for our Honeymoon. Our experience was fantastic, and a highlight was definitely a private tour around the Cape of Good Hope. Our driver Peter made our experience exceptional and unforgettable. The history and natural beauty of this tour speak for themselves, but what we didnt expect was how much value Peter added to our experience. He was friendly, prioritized our interests, and answered our countless questions throughout the day. I highly recommend a private tour if it's available, especially if you are fortunate enough to meet Peter.
This was our first time in Cape Town and the tour with Peter was amazing. It was a full day tour and we were able to see many places with Peter that we could not have organized ourselves (e.g., ostrich farm, farmer's market, wildlife, sea lions, Cape of Good Hope, Twelve Apostles mountain range, Penguins, Boo-Kaap, etc. The van was nice and clean with seatbelts and we were given time at each stop to look around. The places visited were all iconic and Peter had a lot of knowledge of the history of Cape Town and the locations visited. We really enjoyed our tour and would definitely book again on our next time in Cape Town. Highly recommend this tour!
If I could give Peter and Lola Tours more than five stars, I would. This was, without question, one of the top two or three tours I’ve ever taken anywhere in the world. Peter delivered an experience that was not only comprehensive and professionally executed, but also deeply personal and rich with local insight. He didn’t just show us Cape Town — he helped us understand it. From history and culture to hidden gems and authentic perspectives, every stop felt meaningful. His knowledge runs deep, his timing was impeccable, and his warmth and adaptability made us feel like we were traveling with a trusted friend. If you’re considering a tour in Cape Town, stop searching — book with Lola Tours. You will leave with a deeper connection to the city, and a travel memory you’ll treasure for life.
We had an outstanding time on our full day private tour in Cape Town to Cape of Good Hope. Our guide/driver, Peter K, was the best. He accommodated all of our requests, was kind and also very knowledgeable about South Africa’s history. We asked to be on Table Mountain at sunset and he made it all work perfectly. All in all, this day was one of the best tour days we’ve been on. Highly recommend Peter K.
Our entire day was superb! Peter is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job of conveying information without overwhelming us with details. We were fortunate and the weather the day of our trip was fabulous. Unfortunately, previous days had not been so many people who had been unable to take the cable car previously wanted to do so on our day. Peter knew what time of day might reduce that and planned accordingly for late afternoon. Since the queue was still long and my bad hip was giving out after a long day he disappeared for a little while and came back with the necessary permissions to take us a different way where I could sit for most of the wait. We did not ask him to do this. It was just one detail he took care of during the day. In summary, we would do this or any tour with Peter again.
Peter was the best tour guide for our trip, excellent driver, knowledgeable about history. we had plenty of rest stops, never felt rushed while taking photos, we had lots of laughter as well! the penguins were a big highlight, and again, Peter gave us plenty of time and information! Highly recommend this tour with Peter!
Al I can say is WOW. We also used this company for our safari tour because we were so impressed with Peter. He is a wealth of historical information on the city, telling us all kinds of tidbits we'd never know otherwise. The service was always matched to exactly what we needed and it was never an issue if we needed to change the time of anything. We felt safe and looked after the entire time, in fact Peter even took time out of his own evening to take me to the hospital after an unfortunate illness when he heard. If you use any tour company while in Cape Town, use Lola, I've been all over the world and this company truly provides a white-glove experience from start to finish.
Perter and his team are absolutely amazing ! So accommodating / professional / knowledgeable and so much fun too! I go to Cape Town every Feb and Peter and his team help to make it even more magical every time ! Thank you guys !
Good afternoon. We have just arrived home. Thank you so much for the trip yesterday - we thoroughly enjoyed it! Peter was incredibly knowledgeable and delightful guide. His philosophies are just 🙌. we’ve absolutely loved our first visit to South Africa. Cape Town is a beautiful city and the tour yesterday wound up our holiday perfectly. Thank you so much 😃
We (my mother and I) went on a tour yesterday with Peter to the Cape of Good Hope & Boulders Bay. Peter was an excellent guide & managed to both drive and relay excellent commentary. At one point some idiot came to an emergency stop right in front of the van - if it hadn’t been for Peters quick response, there would have been an accident. All in, great experience & would recommend!
This was my best experience in Capetown , this Tour ticket unlocked all the highlights of Capetown, guided by a well knowledgeable and experienced Tourguide Peter, he made sure to unfold all the hidden archives from the Cultural to adventurous treasures. This Tour is a Must to do with Lolla Tour, I highly recommend Lolla Tour.
What a lovely experience. Love every minute, people were friendly and welcoming. I felt comfortable and learned a lot.
Our Guide Peter was such a breath of fresh air very knowledgeable and patient .Showed us all the areas we were looking forward to and our favorite the penguins.Great recommendation 5 star.
Peter was and still is the best tour guide, great conversations throughout the day, he really believes and knows the history of Africa as a whole I would say. My girlfriend and I felt safe throughout the whole duration of the tours, from seeing the penguin, to riding down to the cap of good hope, and going to Table Top Mountain. Peter also has great stories and is a pretty good photographer so your pictures are going to be fire. Please if you need a tour guide call up my brother from another mother Peter!!!💪🏾
We had a wonderful time with Peter on our full-day tour that included Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope and the Boulders Beach penguins. Peter drove us to each destination and answered all our questions, while also adding a lot of interesting facts about them all. It's clear that Peter is quite knowledgeable about Cape Town and we felt safe and well-taken care of throughout the day. We enjoyed our time so much that we booked another private tour with Peter during our time in Cape Town. Both trips are now memorable experiences! Highly recommend!
Peter was an incredible tour guide! His deep knowledge of the city’s history and hidden gems made the tour fascinating. Peter’s engaging storytelling and personal touch kept us captivated and comfortable throughout. Myself and my family really had a great time. The tour was well paced with plenty of time for photos and questions. Highly recommend Lola Tours for an unforgettable and insightful city experience! And waaaay affordable prices. Thank Lola tours, we will definitely call again. 💃🏽

I'm eagerly anticipating my next trip and will definitely be utilizing their services again."
Peter Kabeya, with Lola Tours was a phenomenally informed guide who showed considerable care and patience to each member in our group. His humor was delightful and he happily answered each of our questions without hesitation. I’m grateful that this once in a lifetime experience included spending time with Peter, who expanded my overall perspective, knowledge, and appreciation of Cape Town and other surrounding areas. I highly recommend Peter to anyone looking to tour Cape Town. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll definitely be inspired to explore more of South Africa. M&E Hubbard
We were greeted at our hotel by a friendly and professionally dressed tour guide. Throughout the journey, he gave us descriptive facts and history about each site. Peter did an excellent job steering us away from the vendors and ensuring we felt safe. I highly recommend him for your African adventure!
This was honestly one of the best days of our lives thanks to Peter. Peter is an amazing person (with a great sense of humor), and phenomenal tour guide. Our tour began at 8am when Peter picked us up at our apartment. From there, he took us to Camps Bay, Champman’s Peak, Hout Bay, Seal Island, Cape Point Nature Reserve, the Cape of Good Hope, Simon’s Town, Boulder’s beach, and then Muizenberg beach. Each of these destinations was breathtaking from every angle, and Peter helped us take amazing pictures at each destinations. He also educated us on the history of each stop. We are still in awe of his knowledge of South Africa. It truly is unmatched. Thank you Peter for the perfect day. We will be back!
I’m am so honored that I was able to experience Cape Town with Peter. He is the most amazing person who is filled with knowledge and passion. He taught us so much and there was never a full moment. If you don’t know what to do when you arrive to Cape Town, save yourself any trouble and reserve tour with Peter. I assure you won’t have any regret!
