In the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve you'll be visiting the Cape Point light house which was built in the 1850's. Here you can choose to walk to the light house or take the Furnicular up and down.
To complete our visit to the nature reserve we are heading to the most south western point of the continent to take a picture of you and the sign of it and to take in the natural beauty.
A visit to Boulders beach on this tour is a must to see the African penquins.

We did a cape tour with Tim from Winelands and it was the perfect start to our Cape Town leg of our vacation. Tim was super knowledgeable and took us to all the good spots, including the cutest farm village for a pit stop to get some coffees and snacks and little shops. May had amazing weather, think sunny and 65-75 F and no crowds at Cape of Good Hope. We had the most beautiful lunch at Harbor House that had killer ocean views and super fresh local seafood from the fishing dock next door. Then we saw all the Pengiuns at Boulders Beach. on our way back, Tim even let us stop at both the Kirstenbosch Gardens and took us up to the top of Table Mountain. We literally hit everything we wanted and more!
Where do we even begin?! We visited South Africa for our honeymoon and was lucky enough to have the best tour guide of all time!! Our travel agent arranged for us to have a private tour to see what Cape Town and the coast had to offer... little did we know, we would be making a friend for life! On the day of, Tim was patiently waiting for us in the lobby as we were running late from breakfast. His car was so comfortable and fully stocked with water for us. Tim showed (and educated) us on Cape Town and the surrounding areas in ways we would have never seen ourselves had we opted to rent a car and do it ourselves. We drove Chapmans Peak, stopped for coffee, went to the Cape of Good Hope, saw the penguins at Foxy Beach... and this is just to name a few stops. We stopped for a delicious waterside lunch and then spent the second half of the afternoon exploring as well. We knew our travel agent had booked us another private tour with Winelands Guide when we were spending a few nights in Stellenbosch. We loved Tim so much we requested to have him for that day as well. We were so excited to see him waiting outside for us and to spend another full day with him. Tim continued to educate us about his country as we drove through the rolling hills and made our way to 3 wineries. Tim truly went out of his way to make our honeymoon and my birthday so special... & he takes the best pictures! 10/10 recommend booking with Winelands Guide for getting the best experiences, views, and meals that South Africa has to offer. My wife and I used winelands tours during our time in Cape Town and Stellenbosch. We had Prince pick us up from the airport and drop us off at our destination. He was an extremely friendly face and welcoming guy on our first visit to South Africa. We then had Tim take us on a Cape Peninsula through Cape Town and then a full day tour of wine tasting through Stellenbosch. Neither of my wife or I are big wine drinkers but Tim found the perfect spots for us to enjoy both wine tasting and lunch. Both were amazing tours and Tim was extremely sweet, knowledgeable, and accommodating to us. We never met the owner Colin but he too was very accommodating and helpful through the whole process. We can’t say enough great things about Colin and his team! From the moment we met him, we had such a blast with him. We spent 3 days with Colin - 1st on the Cape Peninsula tour, we would have never seen any of the things he showed us. He was so knowledgeable and made our trip so fun! We took a ride on Chapman peak, went to cape of good hope, boulders beach to see the penguins and had lunch in Simons town. All incredible. Table mountain was closed due to weather but the next day we had a day wine tour in stellenbosch booked, and Colin went above and beyond to make sure we were able to go to table mountain before leaving Cape Town! The stellenbosch wine tour was awesome - he took us to all “non-mainstream” wineries and was very knowledgeable about his wines as well. The next day we did the same thing but in Franschoek. Colin is THE must book tour guide in Cape Town & the winelands - will be forever recommending him!!!
My husband and I used winelands guide during our stay in Cape Town for our honeymoon. We did the full day peninsula tour with Prince and had the BEST time. Our tour with Winelands Guide was the highlight of our time in Cape Town! We did the Best of the Cape tour; our guide was Prince and he was incredible! Absolutely recommend a private tour for the comfort of your own luxury vehicle especially driving through the many winding roads. We saw so many beautiful sights, had a few good breaks outside of the car, and finished with two gorgeous wineries. It's definitely a very full day but it allowed us to see and do everything we wanted with limited time in Cape Town. Thank you for a great experience!

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Winelands Guide twice during our honeymoon, once in Cape Town and once in the winelands. We spent two days with Colin - the first exploring the Cape and the next exploring the winelands. He was an amazing host and tour guide for our group of 4, being very flexible and making sure we made the most of our time in Cape Town. So happy we did a private tour and not a big bus thing. Colin is the best! He tailored our full-day tour to everything we wanted to cover and gave the right amount of history and cool/fun facts on each place. Had a lot of great conversations throughout our ride and even got in a nap on the way to the wineries in the afternoon. Saw penguins, the cape of good hope, lighthouses, and ended with 2 tastings in the Stellenbosch region. Highly recommend using Colin for your tour of Cape Town and wine countries. This tour far exceeded our expectations. Colin is an incredible tour guide and such a genuine person! Nice tour to see the Cape of Good Hope, both with the favorite location sign and the walk from the parking lot to the lighthouse. Afterwards the penguins at Boulders Beach, nice! During the route to Stellenbosch region learned a lot from our guide about the various settlements and town ships we drive past. Wouldn't have missed that information! Had two nice wine tastings to 2 very different locations and then dropped off at our hotel again. Was a very nice day! Recommended!!
