3 Day Garden Route Safari

Hello. I‘m a mum of two kids ( age 15, 19) We three did a 5 day trip via Oudtshoorn to the Addo Park and back to Cape Town along the Garden Route. Our Tour guide Fawaaz Domingo made the Tour absolutely fantastic ! We felt save every moment, we had much fun and very good conversations during the drive with him. He also gave very interesting informations about the history of each stop we made. The accomodations which Southern Explorer booked were very comfortable and clean. Also breakfast & dinner so delicious with friendly staff. I would book the tour again every time ! Many thanks Fawaaz and to the Southern Explorer Team ❤️

I really enjoyed my trip with Southern Explorers. Everything went so smoothly, from booking to the very end. I had a great time with our guides (Yamkela & Blade) and the rest of the group! The safari was super impressive, and I’d recommend the bungee jump to everyone—it was the absolute highlight of my trip. Even though the weather wasn't always on our side, we made the best of it and had amazing vibes throughout. The accommodation and food were great too. If you’re thinking about going on a safari, I highly recommend Southern Explorers, it’s worth every penny!

So amazing ! Seeing the wildlife on all the different safaris all different experiences, please don’t skip a beach visit it’s amazing too BUT when the opportunity for the bungee jumping comes grab it with both hands, top tier experience for me loved it sooo so much. Thank you to our tour guide Glenn for making it extra special !

Our tour was seamless and had a great time with our guide, Didi! We learned a lot about South Africa and saw so many beautiful animals/nature. Highly recommend !

We had a wonderful time on the garden route safari! Our guide, Didi, was very knowledgeable and fun to travel with. We saw many animals on the two Safari’s and enjoyed the included activities on the tour. We skipped the additional cost ones and still had a really nice time. Good group of girls and great vibes!! We’d definitely book another tour with this company.

We did the Garden Route tour and it was an amazing experience. Everything was very well organized and truly unforgettable. Our guide, Asanda, was exceptional, he kept the group energized throughout the entire trip, explained a lot about the region and was always attentive and present. I 100% recommend this tour.

We had the most wonderful trip with our guide Asanda, who truly exceeded expectations. He was warm, knowledgeable with a real zest for life! Very good value for money, the game drives were at 5 star reserves and we saw lions, elephants, hippos rhinos, giraffes and lots more. The food was delicious, and special mention to the chef at the villa Andrea, for her warm welcome and utterly delicious food. I'll be needing that lasagne recipe! And it was duch a treat to have traditional braai. The beach at Sedgefield is stunning and a perfect place to visit at the end of the day. We did quad biking in forests by the sea, and kayaking through a gorgeous to a waterfall. At every moment we were relaxed, delighted and felt completely looked after. If we come back to Africa in future then we will definitely look to book with this company again. And it would be wonderful for Asanda to accompany us to Kilimanjaro! Thanks to all the team.

The experience was very bice, we got to see two safari game drives, went on a zipline and enjoyed traditional African dinner and breakfast. Our tour guide Senta was amazing!

I did a 3-day Garden Route safari and I loved it! In the beginning, I was worried about the long trip, but later I noticed that it was a great opportunity to meet new people and get to know more about South Africa. On the first day, we went on safari. On the second day, we enjoyed a zipline and did an incredible hike. At the end, I went kayaking in a beautiful river and finished with another safari. Our guide, Sentle, was a really nice guy—very friendly and polite. He did everything possible to make sure we understood what was happening.

I did the 3-day Garden Route tour and it was such a great mix of adventures – two safaris, a whale-watching boat trip and so much more. The weather wasn’t always perfect, but it didn’t stop us from having a great time. Our guide Asanda was super friendly, funny, and always made sure we were happy and comfortable. He was attentive, accommodating, and kept us in a good mood the whole way – even on the long drives – with stories, jokes, and little insights about the area. Definitely a trip I’ll remember and would recommend to anyone visiting South Africa.

The safari was wonderful, and the kayaking was also very fun and evocative, with beautiful scenery. The guide was always attentive and, above all, very friendly and engaging.

I joined the 3-day Garden Route tour and it was incredible from start to finish. The only downside was the weather, which didn’t always cooperate, but it honestly didn’t stop us from having an amazing time. We had two great safaris on land and a boat trip to see whales, plus the waterfall zip line which was so much fun. Our guide Asanda really made the trip special – he was friendly, funny, and always made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. He had so many interesting stories and knew exactly how to keep the group entertained, even during long drives. You could tell he genuinely cared about giving us the best experience possible. Overall, it was a fantastic adventure that I’ll never forget, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting South Africa.

Very good program, Sentle (our guide) was very nice and professional, he made the experience go very smooth. I recommend you doing the sea safari as well in addition to the the main course and for the most bold, do the body jumping as well 😊

Asanda is an amazing guide we saw so many animals ! I would 100% do it again. The food is good as well and the accommodation is very comfortable.

I had the best trip with Southern Xplorer tours! We had a big group of over thirty people from different countries, and all of our guides managed our many needs and requests with skill and grace. The itinerary was expertly planned and communication couldn’t have been better. It was my first time in South Africa and I really appreciated the cultural knowledge Didi and Zozo shared. I felt like I left much more knowledgeable about the history, cultures, and social dynamics of South Africa, in addition to having seen stunning landscapes and animals up close!

The three-days garden route tour was an amazing and breathtaking experience! Not only we were able to see the amazing landscapes of South Africa from the comfort of a bus (or van), but the activities offered were also fun and enjoyable. Our guides and drivers Tyla and Asanda were one of the warmest, fun and helpful people I’ve known! They make each ride enjoyable with their amazing music playlists and their cheerful attitudes. They were very helpful with any questions that might arise or for offering alternative activities if you didn’t want to do a specific one. The only recommendation I have: perhaps communicating more clearly through the WhatsApp group the plan of the day ahead of time (the morning of for example) as we were sometimes unsure about timing and/or the plan of the day. On the second day, we had a breathtaking hike in Tsitsikamma National Park but unfortunately, we couldn’t spend much time there as it was already close to sunset. Cutting out the time spent at the Bungee jumping a bit would have been ideal. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this tour and a HUGE thank you to our guides Tyla and Asanda who were amazing!

The tour was a very good one. We went for 2 drive games, also a nice kayaking, and for the braves: bungy jumping. Asanda our guide was great !! He was always trying to tell us everything about his beautiful country Southafrica. So thanks Asanda for all !!!!

My mother and I went on the three-day garden route tour, with our main goal being to go on safari and seeing another part of South Africa - however, we got a whole list of other beautiful experiences as well. Our fantastic guide, Asanda, was incredibly informative and knowledgeable about just about every single area we went to. We also went to the beach for a swim, to the mountains for a hike, and finally to x for a bungy jump and a bit of archery, which was great fun! Once again, Asanda contributed to the overall experience! I highly recommend going on this trip, if you’d like a beautiful experience with lots of different activities.
