1 Hour Coastal Catamaran Cruise From Cape Town

The trip goes beyond the Waterfront area and out into the open sea, so if the weather is windy or rainy or cloudy over Table Mountain (as it was for us) be prepared for a bumpy blustery hour!! The staff on board were great, very friendly, upbeat and welcoming. But we ended up going out of the harbour and then up the shoreline only a short distance before the captain turned back, so we didn’t see anything other than a bit of the shipyard from the sea during the hour. Captain can’t do anything about the weather though, so this isn’t a criticism of the trip, just a caution so know what to expect if weather isn’t great! Note drinks are not included, all chargeable.

Splendid and fun. We practically had the catamaran to ourselves. Weather was beautiful. Saw sea lions, seals and a blue crane. Best way to end off a trip to Capetown.

The tour was an excellent way to see the coast and waterway on Cape Town water front! Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase

Bad customer service, rude and unprofessional. I’d not, never use this guys again, bad customer service to start with, out of all.

I lost my money, lack of communication and no empathy. I couldn't get hold of the people arranging the cruise, no proper direction I lost 1800 rand

We really enjoyed our cruise with Waterfront Charters! The experience was amazing from start to finish, with breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean making the cruise even more memorable. The staff members were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the experience. They even assisted us with taking photos, which we really appreciated because it allowed us to capture some beautiful memories together. We had a beautiful trip around the harbor. We saw dolphins and seals. The scenery was spectacular. The captain and crew were very attentive.

We were only 4 and you guys subtracted for 8 people, you guys must refund me R1600 please. Please contact the office at the waterfront and ask them they told me that you guys subtracted for 8 people.

Picking up the tickets was very easy and the directions given by the company were spot on. It was then a very short walk to get to the actual boat. The staff could not be more friendly, and we absolutely recommend this catamaran ride to everyone! It’s long enough to feel like you gotten away for a while, and short enough to still have plenty of things to do once you get back. we saw dolphins playing out in the water, seals swimming around and sitting on a buoy, large ships coming and going in and out of the port, and beautiful viewpoints of the landscape and scenery that makes Cape Town famous.

Not a lot to see except a lovely view of Table Mountain. No commentary. Staff more interested in selling drinks.

It's a very good experience, but they work based on what boat is available, and in our case there was no catamaran available only a normal boat, and I paid for a catamaran trip. So just be warned that you may not get the boat you were expecting.

Very beautiful experience with great people. The whole crew is so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our ride 🫶🏾 the booking process was very smooth especially with the app, what a lively atmosphere at the V&A I wish we arrived 3 hours earlier and had some brunch there and take photos. I’d advise a morning or midday booking as the CT wind can be very bad especially in the late afternoon . Overall it’s a 10/10 for me shem. Location, ambiance, experience!! Just amazing

Such a great way to experience the city from a completely different angle. The coastal boat ride offered beautiful views along the shoreline, and seeing penguins, seals, and even dolphins in their natural habitat made it extra special. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something memorable and a little different!

Our female host,I can't even remember her name,she lied and overinflated refreshments prices.When we asked to be furnished with unit prices,she kept telling us different prices for the same drink and the final amount we paid was exorbitantly high.The math did not even add up.Basically she scammed us.

I put a wrong date on the ticket and could not reverse it l tried to call them they refused to assist. Such mistakes happen but clearly they did not attempt to assist it’s more of making money for the agent

Depending on the weather the sea can be abit choppy going out of the bay ...don't expect the ocean to be on your side ...nevertheless less staff were very friendly and helpful and after moving out of the bay the ocean was calm and the views were spectacular

It was a lovely experience but I expected to see the sunset since it was a sunset cruise😔 I had a really good time on the cruise though and the champagne was amazing

Wonderful experience on the catamaran. Very friendly and professional staff. The trip around the coast was beautiful and we saw multiple dolphins and penguins. Highly recommend if you are visiting Cape Town.

Personally I would say that the trip definitely did not feel like an hour because of how amazing it was. I would advice people to take sunblock on hot days.
