1- Hour Catamaran Cruise Cape Town

Absolutely lovely, staff amazing and friendly. Took my daughter and family for the trip for her 21st birthday and she had a ball. Trip although 1 hour was too short.

It’s very nice , you get to explore the sea and it’s also romantic 🥰 for you and your partner . The boat was clean and very accommodating , I think they should start selling drinks on the cruise because we were very thirsty and the staff is very nice and welcoming

I enjoyed listening to the music on the boat while on the trip. They also sell drinks on the boat. I think I’ll go again!

I am extremely disappointed with our recent boat excursion by Water Front Boat Tours in Cape Town on 27th June 2026. We chose your company because you are ranked as the best tour operator on TripAdvisor, Travellers Choice which gave us great confidence that customer experience and service quality would be your highest priorities. Firstly, The experience was marketed with the assurance that we would see dolphins, whales, and sea lions. We fully understand that wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, but this was presented to us as an expectation rather than a possibility. Secondly, the cruise itself did not last as advertised. Our scheduled departure was 1300 hrs, but the boat only sailed at approximately 1330 hrs and we were back by around 1400 hrs. The excursion was sold as a one-hour cruise, yet the actual time spent at sea was only about 30 minutes, which is significantly less than what we paid for. The staff on ground dint care and wasnt interested in listening to us....their attitude pathetic unlike when they were trying yo get us to book the cruise with them & told me to email to the company I have emailed them the same evening asking for a refund & its been over 2 weeks now & they havent even replied to me. DO NOT GO FOR ANY EXCURSIONS WITH THIS COMPANY ...they are FRAUDS !!!!!

We were the only two booked for the cruise and it apparently could not set off with just the two of us. Understandable. We were told there are still scouting for more people to leave with us, however, that took more than an hour and by then, we were already heading back to the airport. We ended up not going on the cruise

Joining instructions were not very clear. Staff seemed a bit disorganised. The drinks offering was quite limited. No wine, other than full bottles of champagne) available. We did not see much but that was not the fault of the organisation!

The one hour Cruise on the red catamaran A Beautiful Life was a blast! We took the 3:00 pm ride. Lovely views of Table Mountain and the shoreline, great music, drinks for purchase. Great value too!

They won’t admit you even if you are 2 minutes late Got there at 3:02 and they couldn’t help instead the employees will scream at you. I would advise you go book at the venue to save yourself their drama Look at the time schedule you want and go book physically Yes I was late but not having a grace period is utterly ridiculous especially in logistics seeing that they can also be inconvenienced by weather or technical problems

The boat was crowded and the music was annoyingly loud. At one point it appeared somebody had gotten on the wrong boat, which devolved into the crew yelling at people. The cabin has shade, but very little airflow, so that combined with crowd makes for a stuffy, uncomfortable experience. Went up to the upper deck to get some fresh air and escape the noise. If all you want to do is get on a boat and go out in the water, it accomplishes that goal, but otherwise it was quite unpleasant.

Horrible experience, I missed my 13h00 cruise while waiting at their shop. No proper directions were given on how to go about to get to their boat, they said I should be at their shop 12h45 instead of saying I should be by the boat at that time and give clear directions on how to get there. Not a A BEAUTIFUL LIFE at all!

This was just GREAT. Scenic and relaxing. This must be one of the best outings in Cape Town. Highly recommendable

Zero complaints, went above and beyond can’t recommend the staff enough . They were short staffed and yet the deckhand didn’t let it show. Extremely friendly , vibe was extremely refreshing. Took my 3 year old along, they were patient even with the huge amounts of questions and even let him steer for a bit! Made his whole year!

The service was great and the views were incredible but a few suggestions would be to add some music or tell the customers a few facts about the bay as we travel. A very nice experience but just giving a few suggestions 😊 thank you so much

we kept getting lost to the habour. we got there 10minutes late. we were told that they can't. book us on the next cruise and there was no refund. so our 1300 went down the drain

I was disappointed to find out that they won't be sailing but rather use the engines. I intentionally booked a sailboat to experience sailing, otherwise I would have booked a normal boat for cheaper. Was only notified once we where on boat that we would not be sailing. Other than that it was a wonderful experience. Please notify your customers that the experience is a normal powered boat and not sailing to avoid confusion in the future.

This was a first for me and my kids. What an excellent trip. The water is so mighty. Waves splashing in front of the boat 😅😅😅. I thought we were contestants of the Worlds’s most dangerous jobs 😅. An excellent treat for young adults 🙏🏻

This is a simple boat ride on a catamaran, traveling half an hour south out of the V&A Waterfront harbor, along the coast, then returning back. Not much more to it, but also pretty inexpensive, and always lovely to spend some time out on the water on a pleasant day. They have some seating in the back of the boat (some of them at least partially covered), as well as a couple of trampoline-style nets in front an other seating there as well.

It is listed as a harbor cruise, but Capetown doesn't really have a harbor. We traveled in a straight line out from the coast into the ocean, then turned and returned. There was no narration as to what we could see.

Amazing experience! The crew were so friendly and we were lucky enough to see dolphins, penguins and southern right whales during our trip! It was a fantastic way to see Cape Town from a different perspective

My boyfriend and I went on this lovely 1 hour Catamaran Cruise 🚢 and we loved every minute of it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. From the chaperone to the waiter on the boat and the ladies that assisted us with the tickets. We took the 11am cruise and the sun hit perfectly on our faces🥰🥰🥰 thank you Natasha for recommending this! I’m definitely doing it again with my family.

Disorganized, late, no introduction by skipper, no pointing out landmarks to passengers. Boat dirty from previous trip - pizza boxes and champagne bottles scattered around. Very disappointing!

The cruise itself and the crew on board was amazing. However the confusion that took place before boarding was a really unprofessional. We were informed that we need to be there at least 20 mins before boarding and we get to the boat and there was no one to give guidance. We started seeing action around 16:55 when the cruise was supposed to leave at 17:00. If that can be sorted out it will make the full experience to be amazing

It was amazing to say the least! We chose "A Beautiful Life" to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were amazing and made us feel at home on the water. Will definately recommend this catamaran to anyone looking for a special experience!

A beautiful life is what this company is. The staff and the owners are so kind and accommodating. We spent our 9th wedding anniversary on the boat and I cannot express how amazing the experience was. Waterfront boat tours will be our first and only choice from now on.

Waste if time money and effort. A crew that were rude and self indulgent with absolutely no customer service or hospitality experience more interested in talking crap amongst themselves. The trip itself was a meaningless trip out into the bay, no commentary or context. All in all CRAP.... and the crew had the brass neck to rattle their tip jar and actively hawk fir tips at the end.
