The Cape Milner, in centrally located in Cape Town, only 1.2 mi from the coast. It features a gym and outdoor pool. All rooms include coffee, tea facilities and work desk. All of the contemporary and air-conditioned rooms have satellite TV and come with a bathrobe and slippers. Some of the rooms feature views of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. The 2 on Milner Restaurant serves a variety of local and international cuisine on the covered garden terrace. Light lunches, tapas and cocktails are served at The Glass Lounge. The Cape Milner is only 10 minutes by car from Camps Bay beach town. Nearby attractions which are only a short drive away include Two Oceans Aquarium and The Heart of Cape Town Museum.

Really disappointing experience, especially as this was meant to be my birthday dinner. We made a reservation and travelled quite far, only to arrive and be asked if we were sure we had actually booked. We obviously wouldn’t have driven that far if we weren’t expecting a table.
We arrived hungry knowing we were going to have dinner, but the whole experience created such an off vibe that I didn’t even finish my food or drinks. The seating options we were given were also near a door that was constantly opening and closing as people came in and out.
The only positive was that the place and décor were nice to look at.
Avoid completely until at least November 2026 when construction is scheduled to finish. Hotel is an active construction site. Changed rooms 3 times due noise. Even away from the half of hotel where new stories are being added, there is much vehicular noise, skip bins loading unloading, trucks. Manager is unsympathetic.
Very disappointing experience. I called the restaurant with a simple enquiry and was met with extremely poor customer service. The staff member who answered the phone was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly put the phone down on me before I could even explain the reason for my call.
As the first point of contact for the business, I expected a basic level of professionalism and courtesy, but unfortunately that was not the case. The interaction left a very negative impression and made me question the overall standards of customer service at this establishment.
I hope management addresses this issue, as no customer should be treated with such disrespect. Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend this restaurant to others.
Do not book or stay here - highly disappointing. There was no indication of renovations when booking. I Checked in after a long day of work, and immediately checked out due to the noise, as well as the wall and floor vibrations from the jack hammering. The caveat is that the company is refusing to provide a refund. For those who value transparency and integrity, I would not recommend supporting this company once renovations are complete. This view is based on my experience of poor values and unclear, shadowy communication practices. For a wonderful experience and seamless check in, book at the canopy by Hilton.

Organizing a multi day seminar can be complex, but the team handled everything seamlessly and made the process feel effortless. The food was excellent, consistently fresh and well prepared, and our guests were genuinely impressed with the quality.
The venue itself is beautiful, well maintained, and perfectly suited for professional gatherings. Its location is also fantastic, making it easy for attendees to access while still enjoying the charm of the surrounding neighborhood.
A sincere thank you to the entire team for delivering such a smooth and memorable experience. I would highly recommend Cape Milner Hotel for corporate events, meetings, or anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in Cape Town.
