Southern Sun Waterfront Cape Town

We had an awesome stay at the hotel. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. We had a pleasure of being served by 2 chefs Khanyisa and mary Ann . They jolly and their smiles and laughter are infectious and spread across to everyone. They made the best omlets without failure. We will come back again to Cape town

Staff are absolutely fantastic. Friendly, hospitable and helpful. We always stay here when travelling for work and are never disappointed. The room does need a deep clean I think. The hotel seems very busy but perhaps a deep clean every once in a while is necessary instead of turning around rooms as fast as possible. Would also like to suggest the hotel upgrades the power inlets to include usb charging ports. Other than that, very happy with my stay.

The quality of breakfast was excellent, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again A special shoutout to Noma, best omelette chef! It was bigger and more generous than omelettes I’ve had at other hotels. With extra cheese, and it was absolutely perfect. She is truly an amazing chef❤️ And Asanda was such a wonderful server! She was so kind and thoughtful, checking in during my meal to make sure I had everything I needed! Her warm and thoughtful service really made the experience even better!

The food is excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant. The chef BaBalwa made an excellent oxtail dish. If I didn't know better, I would have sworn that he was Jamaican. The waiter, Mtsika offered professional a d courteous service. We were totally satihisfied with the service and food provided. Overall, our stay at this hotel is awesome.
