To each and every member of the team at Premier Hotel Sea Point, Cape Town, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful care and kindness you showed us during our stay. Every one of you went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and truly at home. Your warm smiles, thoughtfulness, and genuine hospitality made our visit so much more than just a stay at a hotel—it became a treasured memory. The love, kindness, and dedication you show to your guests are truly special, and we will carry those memories in our hearts for years to come. Thank you for making our time with you so memorable. We leave with grateful hearts and look forward to visiting again. With sincere appreciation, Andre & Yvette Botha❤️
This establishment wasn’t the best I’ve experienced… we had to move closer to the city prior as leaving Cape Town, so this hotel seemed best…however everything is all crammed up and it’s so uncomfortable to move around. The rooms are also quite tiny! The view isn’t too bad, it is however a bit obstructed by another building. Wouldn’t recommend it for a holiday.
We stayed at the Premier Hotel this past January for my wife’s 40th birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is excellent, but the real highlight was the hospitality. The team here is genuinely helpful. We had a bit of a panic regarding a last-minute visa we hadn't realised we needed, and Jeffrey was brilliant, assisting us with the necessary invoices to get it sorted. There are honestly too many names to mention, but Jeffrey, Zola, Zuthu, and Langa on the front desk were all lovely and made us feel very welcome. Zola also did a great job of organising a shark diving trip for us. The team went out of their way to make my wife's birthday breakfast special. They surprised her with a cake and a song during breakfast, which was a really kind gesture. We also had the chance to meet the General Manager and Operations Manager, who were both equally impressive and lovely. The staff are incredibly warm-hearted and truly ensured we had the best possible stay. When we visit Cape Town again, we will 100% be staying here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great stay in the city.
As a South African who has traveled the world, I am deeply embarrassed that this hotel can even claim to be a 4-star establishment. At best, this is a 1-star experience. While the front desk staff are friendly, they are clearly let down by a total lack of management and maintenance. Only the billing department seems to be working efficiently. Key Issues During My Stay: • Sleep Quality: The AC has only one setting: "High." It sounds like a freight train in the room, making it nearly impossible to sleep. This is compounded by the passage doors, which slam all night because the slow-close mechanisms are broken. • Room Maintenance: My room safe was not working. I reported it to the staff, but it was never fixed. To top it off, the hairdryer is on its last legs and won't even get hot. • Inconsistent Service: Housekeeping is hit-or-miss—some days you get complimentary water, and some nights you don't. • Facilities & Atmosphere: There is a foul sewage smell in the lobby that is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, the WiFi is shocking; you can hardly get a signal, and when you do, it is incredibly slow.
