Nestled in a wine estate dating from 1702, the luxurious Meerendal Boutique Hotel is just 25 minutes’ drive from the V&A Waterfront. It is surrounded by vineyards and has a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Featuring views over the surrounding greenery, all the rooms at the Meerendal are decorated with stylish furniture and wooden floors. They all include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some rooms are equipped with an espresso machine, and some have a tea-and-coffee making facilities. Guests can enjoy the wine tasting sessions offered by the estate. The staff can help them to organize activities such as mountain biking. The Meerendal is in the Cape Winelands, 30 minutes’ drive from Cape Town International Airport. The nearest beaches are 12 mi away.

We come to Meerendal frequently and we have stayed in most of the suites. Our favourite was closer to the entrance of Meerendal. Rooms are spacious and equipped with all necessities. You must ask for a bottle opener when checking in as this is not provided in the rooms. We were a bit disappointed with our last room as the shower was not working well but I do know they were busy renovating. The estate hosts a Bossa and boutique restaurant, Padel courts and a coffee shop with artisanal chocolate tasting. You may also get a day pass for the hikes around the farm (spectacular at sunset if possible).

An unforgettable stay.
Although it’s graded as 4-star, this place truly deserves 5 stars. The rooms are elegant and thoughtfully equipped with lovely touches like a Nespresso machine and complimentary wine. The gardens are beautiful and impeccably kept, creating a peaceful retreat. Guests can enjoy wine tasting, two on-site restaurants with delicious food, and even a chocolaterie. There are walking and cycling routes nearby with the most stunning views. The owners have their hand on everything, ensuring every detail is impeccable. Highly recommended.
This place is ridiculous, I set up my proposal here and on the day they tell me I have to find a different spot as there is a wedding. They suggest a spot near live construction. Then the manager in his golf cart comes and gives me a card machine while we are soaking in the moment. The best part is I left my plugs there and between all the Staff they cannot find it. Up until today I’m still waiting for my plugs. I will never visit this wine estate again try Klein Rosboom or Durbanville hills guys for quality service

If you are looking for a boutique hotel that combines charm, comfort, and top-class service, I cannot recommend Meetandal Boutique Hotel enough. It exceeded all expectations and left us with memories we will cherish. We will definitely be back!
