Grosvenor Guest House

We had a great family weekend at the Grosvenor. Jonathan’s warm welcome (and luggage assistance) got us off to a great start. The rooms are fabulous - spotless and very comfy beds. Beautiful views from most rooms - a special highlight being the couch on the balcony of room 4 and of course from the breakfast balcony. Breakfast spread was awesome. Eggs were perfectly done for all of us - and my omelette on the last morning 🌅 was up there with the best I have ever had. Happy memories made in the lounge - and cosy fire 🔥 . Sunrises over the sea were glorious. Sue a very friendly host. Highly recommended stay - and wow 🤩 we had amazing weather in the middle of winter.

We love the Grosvenor and the warm hospitality and totally relaxed atmosphere. Jonathan is so attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him and the ladies who kept our rooms spotless. The location is brilliant and one never wants to move from the patio with its incredible view of the Harbour and the bay. Within walking distance of beautiful beaches and the penguins , and Simonstown is a lovely village with plenty to offer for those who want to do watersports, walk eat or shop and just to chill. We had an enormous suite with a shower and lovely furnishings. I love Debbie's decor which is an homage to Africa and is always bright and full of local art and crafts but so tasteful and even the table settings are gloriously quirky and alive ! If you want to have a swim there's a pool with a view ! Can really recommend this quiet and gentle getaway in lovely Simonstown. The only caveat is lots of steps so not suitable if you have issues with mobility.

We had a wonderful welcome. The room was extremely comfortable and the views are amazing. The staff were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. So enjoyed our stay at The Grosvenor. Definitely worth a visit
