I had no intention coming to lunch at cloud 9🤣🙏 I walked past and the friendly porter at the entrance led me ending up there. The staff are super friendly and warm! From arrival to departure! Service is unobtrusively seamless. The foods and beverages were amazing, to start I had the beef deep fried balls, then had the kingklip as my main it was so good, fresh ingredients and responsible cooking definitely takes place. The outlets are neat clean and tidy. Again F&B staff are on top of things, never did I have to request anything they were literally 10 steps ahead of me. Overall my experience was beyond amazing 🤩 will definitely be back soon!

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff, the family room was great. Two separate rooms and bathrooms in one. Breakfast was good too. One small thing, the hotel is located next to school football courts, with screaming kids during weekdays from 07:30. If that bothers you, ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. We did not mind it that much, got up early anyway.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel after discovering that my tanzanite gemstones and jewellery, valued at approximately US$15,000, were missing during my stay. What upset me most was not just the loss, but how the hotel handled the situation. Instead of demonstrating urgency and working proactively with us to try to recover the missing items, we felt that the focus quickly shifted to defending the hotel rather than investigating what had happened. Although we reported the incident immediately, the hotel’s investigation report was only provided several days later. The report offered very little that would help explain what happened to our belongings. It acknowledged that the exact time of the loss could not be determined and that multiple housekeeping entries occurred during our stay, yet concluded there was insufficient evidence to identify what happened. We provided purchase invoices, gemstone certificates, and a police case number, hoping for meaningful assistance. Instead, we were left feeling that our concerns were treated as a liability to manage rather than a genuine effort to recover valuable property. Losing something of significant monetary and sentimental value is devastating. I understand that hotels cannot prevent every incident, but I do expect transparency, prompt action, and genuine cooperation when something this serious occurs. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. If you’re travelling with valuables, I strongly recommend taking every possible precaution and carefully considering whether this hotel’s response to serious incidents meets your expectations.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in Cape Town. The location is excellent—very central and perfect for exploring the city. The service throughout our stay was outstanding, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were lucky enough to receive a complimentary room upgrade with an incredible view of Table Mountain, which was truly unforgettable. The room was very spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable. The hotel also features an excellent, high-quality restaurant and a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views over the city. There is also a swimming pool and a jacuzzi on the rooftop, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town.
