We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The highlight of our experience was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their excellent service made us feel well taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. We stayed here while attending a conference that was held directly across the street, so the location was perfect for us. Although the hotel is not in the city center, we knew that in advance and chose it because of its convenience. The surrounding area felt very safe and pleasant for walking, and there was also a nice shopping center and park and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help us. We asked them to arrange a half-day city tour, and everything was organized perfectly. They provided clear guidance and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Before our departure, they also arranged our airport transfer with a convenient schedule, which we really appreciated. We also appreciated the thoughtful hospitality. The hotel provided extra drinking water whenever we needed it, and they were happy to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, allowing us to make the most of our time without worrying about our bags. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, and the hotel restaurant had a nice atmosphere with excellent food. One thing to note is that there are several restaurants and cafés nearby, and we could hear music from the area until around midnight. Personally, I enjoyed the lively and dynamic atmosphere, so it did not bother me at all. However, if you are looking for a very quiet place to stay, this may not be the best choice. The outstanding hospitality, excellent service, convenient location for our conference, and comfortable atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable.

Unfortunately depending on which side of the hotel you are staying on will severely affect your experience. A number of the rooms are on the side where restaurants who play loud music until very late are situated. So unless you are completely deaf or a party animal your stay will be beyond unpleasant . Unable to sleep until the early hours, hotels response " we have asked them to turn down the volume". With a conference centre opposite...for those wishing to attend their conference after a good night sleep this os simply not possible.
Good hôtel but too noisy. I just spend 4 days and could not sleep before 1am because restaurant just close put the music too laud. Let’s hope last night will be more quiet. Pity because good hotel, good restaurant and nice services.
Our stay exceeded all expectations. Despite initially thinking the hotel would feel more corporate or business-focused, it had a homely, holiday-like atmosphere with thoughtful themes throughout. The staff were outstanding, Renato, Hotel Manager, went above and beyond, and Enoch, Sommelier, delivered a perfectly balanced, insightful, and fun wine tasting. The front desk was warm and welcoming, ensuring we always knew where to go and what to do. The food and beverages were excellent, thoughtfully prepared and well-portioned. Overall, it was an exceptional stay in every way.
Urban Umami has an awesome offering of 5 small platters. Love the different varieties. Beds are sizeable and firm and very comfortable. Rooms are quiet there is no intrusion from exterior sounds. Precincts is well setup , everything is clean and efficient. Hotel is well placed from a business hotel perspective but is also an excellent home base for touring Cape Town.
