Blackheath Lodge

We stayed here in late July with our whole family. This was such an amazing experience! We were greeted by friendly staff throughout our stay; I wish I could remember everyone’s names, but the three that I can currently remember are: Riano, Sean, and Denzel. 10/10 would absolutely comeback again!

This place was our meeting point for a tour they were not connected to. When my wife and I arrived to wait for the bus, we were warmly welcomed by Simon. With a smile, he invited us to come in and have a seat then proceeded to offer us coffee and if we wanted something to eat. You can just imagine how very grateful and happy we were with Simon’s genuine hospitality. Our tour bus arrived early and with little time to transfer our coffee into takeaway cups, he trusted that we would return the ceramic cups at the end of the tour. The room he seated us in was very cozy, welcoming and comfortable. Other employees also walked by and greeted us with smiles and good mornings.

Fantastic spot with exceptional service! We arrived late from the airport with our luggage lost and the kindly staff scrounged together some toothbrushes and other essentials for the night. The included breakfasts were delicious with both a cold buffet and made to order hot items, and the waitstaff were all very friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to have our family of 5 staying in the Villa Gareloch. The villa was so lovely - I was disappointed we didn't have more downtime to enjoy it. The hotel was walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops along Main Road.

Great hotel! The staff are super friendly and helped us make reservations for activities/restaurants and gave us great recommendations for where to go and what to do. The rooms and the lodge itself are well decorated and cozy and the location within the city is great, we were able to walk to take a quick uber ride to most places.
