We had the most amazing time! Nathan the house manger made sure to really look after us, and Harry our driver was fantastic! Such a great experience, we would 100% recommend. Also the views are insane.

I can honestly say hands down that 21 Nettleton is one of the most extraordinary hotels I have stayed at. What truly sets this hotel apart is the people. The service was exceptional from start to finish-warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. They were always available, incredibly understanding of my needs, and made me feel more like a valued guest in a private home than a visitor at a hotel. And then there are the views. Nothing could have prepared me for them. Walking into 21 Nettleton felt like walking into what I would coin as my idea of paradise. The panoramic views are simply breathtaking and you have the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. Every room is perfectly positioned to capture the beauty of Cape Town and sometimes I had to genuinely stop and take it all in. The rooms themselves are stunning- super luxurious and elegant. If you're looking for world-class hospitality, extraordinary attention to detail, and some of the most breathtaking views on earth, this is the place. I cannot recommend it highly enough and am already dreaming of my return.

We have travelled the world and 21 Nettleton has the most spectacular view we have ever seen. My husband and I had an incredible time at the hotel. The food, service, staff and ambiance was a 12/10! This is a gorgeous hidden gem in Cape Town and we can highly recommend it!

Our stay at 21 Nettleton Boutique Hotel in Clifton was nothing short of exquisite — the kind of experience that feels less like a hotel stay and more like stepping into a beautifully curated dream. From the moment we arrived, everything felt deeply personal and thoughtful. The 24-hour concierge and butler service was exceptional, with such a modern and seamless touch — having the team available through the iPad made every request feel effortless. No matter what we needed, it was welcomed so warmly and attended to with genuine care. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, personable and insightful, making us feel not only well looked after, but truly seen and valued. One of the most special moments of our stay was being taken on a tour of the house by the owner, Hugo Jankowitz. He walked us through his extraordinary art collection, sharing the stories behind the pieces he has so enthusiastically and personally curated over the years. Every artwork seemed to hold a memory, a journey, or a meaningful connection from his travels. It added such depth and character to the house — it felt alive with history, beauty and soul. For a young couple like my husband and I, this was one of those rare experiences that leaves you feeling uplifted and inspired. It reminded us of the importance of placing yourself in beautiful spaces — places that encourage you to dream, imagine, and see life as something far greater than the everyday hustle and strife. Breakfast was an absolute pleasure, from the fresh croissants, fruit platters, yoghurt, granola and sliced fruit, to the warm breakfast options. I had the best Eggs Benedict I have ever eaten, with the English muffin replaced by a perfectly crisp potato latke — such a delightful and memorable twist. Dinner was just as special. Each evening was arranged in the most personal and charming way, with rose petals on the table, candles lit, and the Atlantic Ocean stretching out before us through the most beautiful cottage-pane windows. It was romantic, peaceful and magical all at once. And the room — wow. Spacious, warm, luxurious and comforting in every way. The heated towel racks, beautiful lotions and shampoos from Scent Brand, complimentary minibar, snacks and laundry service all added to the feeling of being completely taken care of. Over the rainy weekend, the wood fire was lit, soft instrumental piano music played in the background, the wind howled outside and the rain poured down, while we watched the wild Atlantic Ocean from this warm, elegant house on the hill. It was pure magic. 21 Nettleton is luxury, but not in a cold or showy way. It is luxury with humility, warmth and heart. Even the owner himself carries such a humble spirit, and there is something deeply encouraging about seeing the beauty that can come from vision, hard work and process. Cape Town, once again, did not fail to satisfy my spirit and my soul. This stay gave me so much to look forward to, and reminded me that life holds so much more beauty, wonder and possibility than we often allow ourselves to imagine. I would wholeheartedly recommend 21 Nettleton to anyone seeking an experience that is luxurious, intimate, inspiring and unforgettable.
