Xel-há All-inclusive With Transportation From Cancun And Riviera Maya

Xel ha itself is amazing. The company we booked with is horrible and nearly left us on the side of the road until begged and pleading to get on the bus. Go to Xel ha, just not this company.

So sad! I’ve been to Xel-Ha several times. The brilliant fish are gone! You really have to search for any at all. This place needs a rest from civilization. I agree it’s awesome but mankind has ruined it. All the trash in the water from construction. Please clean this place up! I was there in 1981 before it became so commercial. I hate what has happened to it!

We were only in Cancun for 5 days but decided to have one excursion to mix things up. Our day at Xelha was relaxing and energizing. Our family took our time as we were looking to relax and enjoy the facilities but not at lightening speed. We wanted a chill day in the sun while enjoying some water activities. We got what we wanted. Here is what to expect. - The bus ride from Cancun is 2-2.5 hours all in. Brace yourself for a long, but comfortable ride. You will likely stop at the bus exchange near the airport in the morning first to switch buses as the company XCaret has 4 theme parks. Pick up from your hotel is for all parks. Drop off in the afternoon id direct to your hotel. The staff is friendly, helpful, and organized. This is a pro outfit. - The park has lots to do and the bus ride in has full explanations of the packages and upgrades available. We chose none. No pressure. We just wanted to optimize for chill time. Upgrades include photo packages, swimming with dolphins and manatees, speed boat, motorized snorkel, etc. We did not partake. - Wear sun hat, crocs or well supported water shoes (flip flops are usable but not ideal). - No need to bring towels - all food, drinks, equipment, towels, lockers are included. - My kids like the water slide. My kids zip lined. My favourite was biking to the lazy river and I snorkelled once and floated in an inner tube once. I did not like the double inner tube - no back rest. Take the single inner tube. We had time for an hour nap on the hammock. We ate twice. We snorkelled. And the two lazy rivers. And we still had gaps in our day! you will have enough time to do whatever you want at the resort. No need to rush!! It is a long day because 4-5 hours is travel time. BUT, it was well worth it. For ~$150USD, you get so much value for what you pay for. All you can eat. All equipment. Sun. Water. Fun.

The snorkeling was magnificent. Recommend bringing own personal mask - the ones offered there get fogged up too easily and don't have a tight fit. The lazy river was great!

its a great place but not secure. you have to keep track of everything at all times. the staff....... take care of yourself. difficult place to be in.

My 16-year-old son and I booked the Xelha with our hotel and got the basic package and then added some activities when we arrived at the park. The bus ride was not bad. It was a very nice bus from our hotel. Pick up was about 7am from Cancun. When we arrived we were disappointed to hear that the Andrenalina jet boat ride was cancelled that day because of high winds. That was planned to be one of the highlights for my son. Other activities that took place out in the ocean were also cancelled. We booked the Power Snorkel which is snorkeling with a small electric-driven hand-held motor that pulls you thru the water. After a short intro we went outside the small area and jetted around in the larger bay area. It was really fun and a unique experience to dive and glide under water at a fairly good speed. I would only recommend it to people that are comfortable in the water and can hold their breath for at least 20-30 seconds. Riding on the surface was not much fun. It was not cheap at $85/person but worth it. They put a Gopro camera on the unit to take a video of the experience, but when we went to download our photos that video was missing. I emailed them and they said there was no video, so that was a big disappointment because that would have been incredible to see. The second added activity was snorkeling with the air tank floating above. But it was a huge letdown and waste of money and time. All we did was snorkel for about 15 minutes in very shallow water with nothing to see except the guide feeding some fish for a photo opportunity. And that was $55/person I believe. If it would have been in much deeper water with a lot of fish around it would have been better. Also, not recommended for people that would be nervous underwater. Included in the admission price is a river float where you can choose a one-person raft/seat or a 2-peron one. My son and I chose the 2-person because you sit out of the water more and the weather was a bit cool. Unfortunately, the wind was directly against us so making progress was difficult. The ride was pleasant, and the water was beautiful, but it would have been nicer with better weather. There were about 3 short zip-lines along the way and a couple of jump off spots. All in all it was a fun day and I would recommend it especially the Power Snorkel. My son did the tall tower water slide once but he said it was not that fun and there was a long line to get on it. The food at the restaurants was good, but not great. The service from all the employees was very good.

I want to start with some useful tips: 1.Book the tour calling Xcaret toll free numbers directly(visit their website for the toll free numbers).Book 3weeks in advance to get 25% off. In my view, this is the way to go. 2.If you need transportation, again book through Xcaret offices directly. It is hassle free! They pick you up from your hotel and drop you off promptly. 3.You should be comfortable getting into the water. Wear water shoes! Towels and lockers are provided by the park. If you need the photo package, buy in advance by calling Xcaret toll free numbers directly. At the entrance they do not offer any discounts and you can avoid the lines as well. 4.Start early and reach the park on time. This way, you can complete all the activities by the end of the day. All the water activities are a lot of fun. Do not skip the big slide fearing the height. Both kids and grown-ups can do it with ease. We completed the cliff jumps, ziplines, rope course, swim in the cenote etc. before snorkeling. You can do all the activities at least once easily, if you start early. The park closes at 5PM and the buses start promptly at 5PM.So, target to complete all the activities by 4:30PM. You will need 5-10mts. to quickly shower, change and remining time to walk to the parking lot. The lunch buffet was provided and included vegetarian/vegan options as well. Opportunities: Although the ticket indicates "all inclusive", some of the premium rides(Seatrek, zip biking etc.) are not included and are charged extra. You will need to buy tickets for these separately at the entrance. In our view, these have to be included as well. I hope the park office is reading this review and will consider making some accommodations. Overall, it was a great experience! A big thank you to all their staff that work relentlessly to make it a great experience for their guests.

A super adventure the slide is the best of the best we had an amazing time with mnis friends of course we would repeat it!!!!!

We had a great time, the park is huge. It is too tiring, the cove is huge and you must be aware that you will swim a lot. Excellent service from the staff by the way. Yes or yes they should try to jump off the huge slide

The park is great, we took a lot of photos. Buy the photo package that the park offers you, you won't regret it. It is approximately 70 dollars

Beautiful, it is definitely worth it, but if you have teenagers, my daughters really enjoyed the slide, it is gigantic and each of the places in the park, many photos, we leave very happy with our visit to the place.

The first thing to highlight is Pilar's attention. We contacted via WhatsApp and helped us in everything: queries, doubts, and so on. It was also pending throughout the process, even until we got on the bus. With this Enterprise we contract the transfer to holbox and the tour to chichen itza with cenote ik kil and hubiku and Valladolid. The prices were the best we found. The only bad thing is that the tour to chichen itza was with a guide who took us very quickly. He gave us 1 hour 45 minutes in chichen, of which 15 minutes were lost in the bathroom and getting the tickets... Then an hour with another guide Martin, who was quite poor in his account and finally only half an hour remained, which made it impossible to tour the remaining ruins (there are three sets of ruins). I think you should review this point, as going to Valladolid 20 minutes is meaningless and takes time to go chichen. Anyway the guide who accompanied us the whole trip was generally ill-disposed, in a hurry and that marred us one of the most important visits.

Extraordinary experience. Starting with the Tour operator that was Xcaret, I highly recommend it: super punctual to pick you up, the impeccable and modern buses, the driver (Fidel) and guide (Jorge) very friendly. The tour lasted all day, tired but worth everything. Cousin made a stop at Cenote Xcajum, there we ate and then swam at Cenote. Food is covered for the tour fee, but not drinks. They must also pay for the rent of the life jacket that is mandatory to wear for swimming in the Cenote. Then the trip continued with the visit to Chichen Itza, one of the 7 wonderful of the modern world that must be visited if or if. In this time it is very hot, so they must carry blocker and lots of water, it is also recommended to wear a cap or an umbrella. It is a beautiful place, you should visit if you are in Cancun
