Alan at extreme adventure was great and snokerling with Rudo and Maui team was very interactive making sure we saw everything! We did run out of gas heading back to the dock making us late for our next activity at extreme adventure which felt a little rushed after that. But overall the experience was amazing and recommended to anyone.
This entire package from snorkeling with Rodo and maui team From atv , cenote , and zipline with Allen and his team are amazing If you want a amazing energetic experience I suggest you ask for them to be your guide This trip was beyond fun especially as a first time experience I would suggest just making sure when going snorkeling the boats are filled with gas as we got a little late to our next adventure And because of that our next adventure was just a LITTLE rushed that’s it But other then that THANK YOU FOR THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME
Trained professionals to assist people. The transportation was poor. He drove us 45 minutes the other way before going to our resort. It took too long after the excursion waiting on transportation that was disappointing. The digital pictures were good but overpriced. There was no room for negotiation on price.
3/5 – Extremely Efficient, But Something Important Is Missing This is a very well-run operation. It’s efficient, organized, and clearly prioritizes safety. The logistics are impressive — they move hundreds of people a day like clockwork. From check-in to gear distribution to transitions between activities, everything is seamless. That said, I rated it a 3 instead of a 5 for two main reasons. First, everything feels rushed. You’re herded through each experience with little time to pause, reflect, or simply take in the moment. It feels more like being processed than participating. The day is so tightly orchestrated that there’s no space to breathe. Second — and more importantly — the soul of the place feels lost. We finished the day at a cenote. It felt strangely familiar, and after a while I realized I had actually been there 6 or 7 years ago. Back then, it was presented as an eco tour with a jungle walk. We learned about Mayan culture. We participated in a traditional sauna ceremony. A local elder explained the spiritual significance of the underworld and blessed us before we entered the sacred waters. Wildlife was present. It felt intimate and meaningful. This time, there was no mention of any of that. No cultural context. No ceremony. No storytelling. Tour buses arrived one after another, fully branded and decaled, unloading tourists in waves. Life jacket on. Zip line drop. Back on the bus. The old sauna is still there in the background. The place where the Mayan family once lived is still visible. But there’s no trace of them in the experience anymore. It reminded me of *The Lorax* — except here they aren’t making thneeds. The machinery of tourism has replaced the magic. If you’re looking for a safe, action-packed, highly efficient adventure day, you’ll get exactly that. But if you’re hoping for connection, cultural depth, or time to absorb the experience, you may leave wanting more.
We did this full day (830am-630pm) excursion with our two kids aged 7 and 10. Overall, it was a great day and we are so happy we booked this trip through tripadvisor instead of through our hotel, because it saved us so much money. The staff was friendly- especially at the snorkelling portion- shout out to Fernando. The snorkeling was incredible- we saw a nurse shark and a turtle right up close, barracudas, angel fish, sting ray and so much beautiful coral. We purchased the photos and videos after for $80 usd... yikes but they were amazing. The taco lunch nearby was delicious and possibly the best meal we had our whole week in Mexico. Next we went to the adventure eco park and this place is busy. It felt a bit chaotic and we never really knew what was happening next... but overall we did enjoy it. The ATVs have zero shocks and it was basically multiple loops... kids still had fun riding behind us. Zipling was rushed but a thrill. And the best part was the cenote swim. Too bad the photo package for this couldn't be combined with the morning snorkel package being as we already spent so much money on that. We did this excursion with our kids in mind and it was a great fit.
The snorkel is really cool, they were great.. reef was great... then they take you to a "restaurant, where its only a couple tacos. Everything else is extra, pop, juice, coffee... not really a lunch.. terrible. They also of course try to charge for photos. They were actually good, so we negotiated a price. However. Then we went to pickup area, waited 20 min outside in the heat and sun. Once the driver showed up, we got in, and then we waited another 30 min, for one more couple.. our party had to goto bathroom.. better communication would've been great... not happy Off to the 4x4 atv's, they were old and really didn't work well. They keep you "safe speed" which i understand... was ok, cause it just rained and it was muddy. So that was fun. We then went zip lining. And that was ok as well. They only have the slower, smaller ones, so you don't slow down with your hands. You just hold on.. not bad.. kinda fun. Then the cinote, it was cool... we wish we could've had more time there, but seemed like we were rushed out. Once back at the next 'restaurant ', again. Everything extra. 2 tacos each, small ones. 3 pop, 1 beer and some taco chips was 38USD.... then again with the photos. 129$usd for 45pics.. that's crazy.. then a fire show, that they have people going around for tips. It's alot... I get it. And we come to Mexico yearly.. we know this happens, but with this one it seemed over the top... we almost felt trapped. It was super rainy and my mother in law 73 old was cold and didnt have an extra towel, the first one was wet. We just wanted to leave, but until they worked the entire crowd we couldn't leave. As much as it was ok, and the pricing wasn't bad, I probably would choose a different supplier for the activities next year.... Overall not bad, but they pressure the tips, and way to expensive photos. Otherwise it was 9hrs, so bring food unless you want to pay crazy prices......
Amazing 10/10, Vini was the best. Every thing provided in the combo was awesome. Best family trip I’ve ever taken. Can’t thank you all enough!
All of the parts of the trip are very fun and efficient, though they can be a bit disjointed as you do different activities with different people, leading to a lot of transfers and some confusion in transportation. The Zipline/ATV park is particularly touristy, but if you can lean into it it’s not necessarily a bad thing. We also had 2 of essentially the same tequila tasting sessions, one with the snorkel company and one at the Zipline Park which was a bit excessive and is not listed in the description for this booking. Besides this, the activities are excellent and the guides (ours was Gio for the Zipline Park) are enthusiastic and great at their jobs. Photos are also quite expensive but were great shots so we got some. Overall would recommend for a lot of fun, but prepare for a long day and lots of things being sold to you that seem somewhat inauthentic…
Loved the experience. We did the super combo and VIP. Johnny and Flash were great! THE ATVS and zip lines were super fun. The only thing I hated was that we paid for VIP and only got a little while in the private cenote before being told to go eat and it was supposed to be unlimited tacos but just not enough time to really get endless tacos. I wish there was more time for that but it was fun while it lasted and the tacos were delicious. I would definitely still pay for the VIP, though. Can’t imagine what it was like in the public version.
This was a very fun adventure! All of the guides including Kevin and Matt were so fun and helpful. We would definitely do this experience again!
Daniel our driver was very nice. Pablo and MAtt jesus were kind. The equipment needs improvement but overall, ok. We will visit again
We booked through Viator and had multiple confirmations of a 9:30 pick up, but the tour operator changed it to 8:55. Since our confirmations said 9:30, we missed it and had to pay a $30 fee to change the date. Then we couldn’t do the snorkeling we paid for because of high waves (though I don’t blame them for that, it was still a bummer and not something I had considered, and I feel I should have gotten a refund) and the tour operators tried to make us take one double atv instead of two singles. And they don’t allow you to take phones/ cameras do that they have the only pictures, which they charge you $75 for. The unlimited food and drinks are a joke— warm margaritas and the most basic, dry, tiny tacos you’ll ever eat. The atv ride was fun because it was really rowdy— not like the slow, easy rides at other places. But the atvs were shockingly broken. Literally, the seats were not attached, the bodies were Frankensteined together with zip ties, and my gas tank leaked like a fountain onto my legs. You will also probably get burned on your calves. And they were super adamant that if you crashed the atv, you would have to pay for them because they aren’t insured. Seems like a set up. The zip lines were fun, but not as big as the ones at other parks. The cenote was nice too, but not very natural. At the end, the guide gave this speech that he and the other employees did not actually receive paychecks from the company and that they only got paid through tips, which made me wonder what my $300 went to since it certainly wasn’t park/ vehicular maintenance. I am pretty sure it was a lie to get people to shell out more money. Overall, we had fun, but we felt like we were being scammed and we would definitely not do this tour again.
This was so much fun and the people there were so nice. We did the cenote, zip lining, ATV and dinner with a show. My favorite was jumping and swimming in the cenote and the zip lining.
What a fantastic day! Snorkeling on the reef was so amazing! Warm water! Great guides! Cenote is a cool experience! Refreshing water for the brave souls who want to jump in! Next was zip lining which was my favorite part! Great course and George (of the jungle) was an excellent guide! Onto the ATV’s for some more xtreme adventure! All in all a fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a great excursion!
Lali was our guide and he was awesome. The zip lining, ATV and denote excursion was the perfect combination of adventurous and beautiful! I highly recommend this place.
All of the staff was great and very friendly! George the instructor did very well at guided the team. The atmosphere was very whimsical and light.
All the tour guides were Great/Amazing very helpful! Snorkelling was super fun, the tacos after were delicious. The zip line was super fun. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE ATVs, DUE TO THE POOR MAINTAINENCE. For example the atv I was riding was hard to stop, it only had front brakes, and the left front brake caliper bolt was broken. They gave me another ATV that was hard to stop as well. After the ride all 4 of my family members expressed they experienced the same issue...HARD TO STOP. THE ATVs NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH BRAND NEW ATVs. I WOULD SUGGEST PURCHASING THE PRIVATE CENOTE! IT COMES WITH A TEQUILA TASTING THAT YOU DONT WANT TO MISS. IT WAS NOT ONLY BEAUTIFUL, IT WAS MORE INTIMATE TOO (approximately 14 people in the group). The cenote is a great experience for all swimming levels. The staff have life vest, there is a rope in the water you can hold onto or sit on, and staff are right there to assist if you feel uncomfortable. My wife is a non swimmer and was able to get in the water and enjoy the experience with the rest of the family. On top of all of that they provide a photographer that captures the moment for you and provides a good amount of pictures you can purchase if you like.
This excursion choice was amazing. There were so many activities packed into one, and for a great price. Our guide, Lalo, was a king. We loved it! 10/10 would recommend.
It was a lot of fun! The cenote was beautiful: clear, blue water. Alan was punctual and made the experience unforgettable. He also encouraged me to do an upside down in the zipline ( I didn’t think I could do it at first and I did it!). I also had my solo ATV and didn't have to share with anyone which is perfect!
Our guide Allen was SPECTACULAR!!!! For the ATV’s you will get dirty so be prepared. You will have a lot of fun!
Very friendly staff! Jorge of the Jungle really guided us well and made sure everyone was having fun !
George of the jungle was an amazing guide! And Kevin took some amazing pictures of me. Highly recommended.
Our tour guide Johnny was by far the best tour guide we could’ve asked for whether it be the energy or jokes he was making. He was top notch and when I come back I hope he’s working still.
Our tour guide was Pablo and he was excellent. You get what you pay for. It's a long ride from the hotel to the site, 90 mins, but other than that it was worth the experience. Food was great! Tequila was perfect!
The trip was so amazing!! Definitely tiring but worth it. Sights are beautiful, everyone is super nice and accommodating. Tequila tasting was great. Allen our tour guide was super helpful and fun to be around. All around great vibes and would definitely recommend!
Was amazing! Snorkeling was super cool, amazing guide Also the atv/zip/cenote tour with O was super Thank you!
Johnny was the best!! Book the VIP tour! We did zip lining, atv, and swam in a private cenote with just out little group with a tequila tasting in the jungle! It’s amazing!
The place was amazing! Definitely once in a lifetime experience. The staff were super friendly and accomodating. Our tour guide, ALAN ( Amigo) was so knowledgeable and guided us the right way. Our experience with him was simply fantastic.
This tour was amazing!! Here is a small breakdown of how things went! SNORKEL: The snorkel was amazing! We went to a spot where there were almost no other boats. It felt like we had the whole reef to ourselves. It was gorgeous. PUERTO MORELOS: It was nice the tacos you get are small so do not rely on that for your food. There was quite a bit of time in town but it was nice. ZIPLINE: The zipline is great, especially if you are new to ziplining. It is not too high and they are with you the whole time. They move you through the course so fast you don't have time to be nervous. ATV: this was very disappointing. We did this two years ago and it was awesome this time it was kind of a stroll, they kept slowing us down and stopping. We had to go very slow and it kind of got boring. CENOTE: We upgraded to the private cenote and unlimited food and drinks and it was SOOOO WORTH IT!!!! The tacos were amazing, they had margaritas and beer, and we got about an hour in a beautiful cenote! I would not do it any other way. OVerall it is a great day, it is a long day too so be prepared for that. In the jungle there are a ton of mosquitos so take bug spray!!
Amazing experience and our tour guide “O” made the experience even more fun, we did Zipline, cenote and single atv ride, the tequila tasting was definitely a plus.
Thank you Alain for a great adventure! It was worth it, loved the photos. Make sure you bring a towel, extra set of clothes, and cash.
I totally recommend especially if you are not sure you’ll ever do the things again. I would not say the four wheeling was my favorite ONLY because I know how to ride so I wanted everyone out of my way, however not everyone knows how to go all out and it can slow you down. It wasn’t a deal breaker I just sat and waited for everyone to pass and gave myself some space. Although I was surprised to find some of the zip line options I thought were listed as optional on the website were not (the wobble bridge and beam are not ideal for someone with balance problems like myself so I planned to skip) it wasn’t a problem I was able to work it out. This is certainly an action packed day so be prepared! 10/10 jump off that censored!!! Don’t try to add snorkel in with this experience IMO Bc there are better options and this is already a lot for one day. I’d also say please try to factor in tipping your guides if you have a good time not only do they work hard to keep things fun and we’re great to hang out with, I have a medical condition and by the end I had overestimated myself and they did nothing short of make me feel like a bada$$ for not giving up (they were not aware of my physical limitations until the end when I asked for a wheelchair) I was treated like a rockstar instead of shamed when I was certainly embarrassed and was afraid it would upset them. My personal experience with the staff aside- the staff all extremely funny and caring, they do want you to enjoy your time even though they’re is a “schedule” it’s not rushed like a streamline and worth going too!! It was an amazing day and I appreciated the smaller group experience as well!! Photo package was amazing I didn’t even know they were taking pics so catching my dive was an awesome surprise!
The views were amazing, the staff was great and super nice and helpful, the ziplining was a little scary but in the end very fun, and I went to a private cenote with unlimiteddd drinks. The ATV riding was fun but there are a lot of potholes so be careful.
Alam Was GREAT ! The experience was really good. I enjoyed everything. I enjoyed the ATV, Zip lining, tequila tasting and ESPECIALLY the Cenote. I would definitely recommend. Experience was 10/10 !
Alam made our day perfect, from the ATV to the Zipline and cenote. I would recommend maybe not doing the tequila tasting right before the cenote, since stomachs can get upset after the jumping in the water. Kevin the photographer was amazing and the whole team had such a cheerful spirit
The best snorkeling we did all trip! The staff was awesome! Matt and Ismaele were wonderful! Wish we had more time at the cenote because it was gorgeous! All around a really fun highlight of our trip! Invest in the photos! It’s worth it!
Mic was an amazing guide for snorkeling. Jony was a great guide for VIP tour. The whole experience was wonderful. It was my second time doing this adventure and I will do it again. Shout out to the team that helps you though the activities. Very encouraging ❤️
It was amazing, great rythm and nice activities. The tour guide named Alan was really nice, give it a chance and you won’t be disappointed
My friend and I went on the ATV, Zipline, snorkeling and cenote tour. It was amazing. Special thanks to Mike for leading us in the beginning and guiding us during snorkeling, he was extremely helpful and nice! Thank you to Diane was showing us the tequila tasting she was awesome!! Special thanks to Kehlani during the zip lining and ATV tour!!! And of course Henry for the cenote and bus drive!!
booked this tour through sunwing vacation, nexus travel.! It was most amazimg experience. The tour guide Pablo and also his colleague Jesus was very kind and cared well. The most amazing tour guide I met through this exciting activity!! Thank you very much Pablo and Jesus! You guys were best!!! Hope when i come back to Cancun hope to see you amigos again!!!!
This was a very fun activity filled day ! It’s was very good from the time we were picked up till the whole experience was over. The employees Mario, mike, the captain every one was very good, they cared about everyone safety and as well made sure every had a good time. If you are thinking about booking this ! Don’t hesitate, just do it!
This was our second time here and compared to the first time, it was a disappointing. The activity that did it was the atv. I feel as though they need to Inquire about everyone’s level of expertise before hand. There were a handful of people in our group that didn’t know how to ride which caused it to be a very slow ride with multiple stops. The atv I had was also very hot and burned my legs. Overall this is a good place they just need to work on the operations.
This experience was amazing, it was so much fun from every activity, the cenote in my preference was the best part I wish we could’ve stayed there longer it’s STUNNING, I must give a special shout-out to Alan, he was amazing, he explained everything about the activities in detail and was so nice, he helped us out with anything we needed. We needed to get some change and he did it for us too, he’s such an amazing tour guy and person in general. We love Alan, book this trip you won’t regret it everything was so much fun and definitely worth the memories. I’d get the pictures too they came out so stunning and make for amazing memories.
Highly recommended! Will definitely return again and again! This was an awesome adventure packed day in middle of the jungle!! We had such a fun time doing all adventures activities!! With ANDREW as our tour guide everything went super smooth!! Andrew is the best!! My favorite was the cenote!! Guys if your staying near or far , you better not leave before visiting extreme adventure Mexico!
“O” was such an amazing tour guide! We had such a great time! We were able to experience a variety of things and had an amazing time!
If you are unsure wether to book this adventure DON’T second guess yourself. You will not regret it. Snorkeling - Miguel, Andrea and their team did and amazing job. ATV, Zip Line & Cenote - FLASH, Lalo and the team are beyond incredible. If you are looking to have fun, step out of your comfort zone and over come fears this is the adventure you are looking for. Definitely book the private cenote it is worth every penny. Thank you to FLASH for making our day unforgettable. Can’t thank him enough. The whole team was great! A side note these people/tour guides make their money from you. So please remember to tip and tip well. Do not take your young kids this is more for teens and adults. Also, spend the money and buy the pictures so worth it. Flash you were awesome hope to see you again friend. Keep up the great work. My boys loved you and can’t stop talking about you!
My tour did not start off well because Extreme Adventure did not pick me up from my hotel in Cancun. Instead, they sent me an email (less than 24 hours) for me to go to a Starbuck's 2.5 miles (4.5km) away to meet their pick up van. The problem is that there are two Starbuck's on the same road about a mile apart, neither my taxi driver nor I was aware of this at the time. When I called and informed Extreme Adventure that their pick up van was not at the pick-up site, they said yes he was. I then asked a second taxi driver to confirm the whether the Starbuck's on the map link sent was the same as where I was at. He informed me it was not. I then realized that there was another Starbuck's, and my taxi had taken me to the wrong one. As I got into another taxi, I phoned Extreme Adventure and asked them to have the driver wait 5 more minutes so that I could reach their destination. They said the driver was leaving and I would have to either arrange for my own transportation to their activity site or book my trip for another day. As I contemplated these choices, my taxi driver continued on to the second Starbuck's, and upon arriving there, we saw that the pickup van was still there, so I was able to board it. Obviously, the telephone help was of no real help. I've done tours before in other places with other companies, and those others will arrange for pick up at your hotel even if they have to use a private car service to get you to another pick up point, just to avoid mishaps like this. The Extreme Adventure pick-up service needs improvement. I participated in the snorkel swim, ATV ride, zipline, and cenote swim. I am not a strong swimmer and don't float very well, even with a life vest. With the snorkel swim, although a flotation life saver ring is available for use, there's only one. I gave that up to another lesser skilled non-swimmer and returned to the boat. Having more than one flotation ring would be helpful. As others have commented, the ATV ride is fun but quite short (about 25 minutes). It is dusty, dirty, and sometimes muddy, so a mask and protective eyewear would be useful. These items are not offered, but you can buy them at the on-site store. The zipline is fun, though not very high, and you have to walk a rope bridge to get to some rides. As an experienced zipline user, it was enjoyable, but not very thrilling. What was thrilling was the Cenote--a fresh water underground well, which you can enter via zipline or by jumping off the base, about 40 feet above (12m). The dives are fun. The water is clean, cold, and exhilarating, so it's understandable why people would want to spend more time with this activity; especially on a hot day. Extending the timeframe beyond 30 minutes would be better. I tried the lunch and didn't find the deep fried breaded chicken taco to my liking nor did I care for the taco dinner. On my return trip, the drop-off van was able to drop me by my hotel. Go figure.
George and Nelson were Amazon guides. We had a great time! It’s definitely worth doing. An experience we won’t forget.
This experience was a lot of firsts for me. The snorkeling was fun, challenging at first but it was fun. the ziplining was cool, I enjoyed how it was increasingly more fun. for the ATVs, they provided helmets but not goggles, they should have informed us that they don't offer those so I could've grabbed my glasses or bought goggles. the ATV track was just three laps around, pretty boring honestly. My ATV stopped at one point and we had to wait on them to turn it back on, it also had a slight right tilt but it was fine. the cenote and tequila tasting was cool. the cenote itself was amazing, we were in the middle of the forest so there were a ton of bees and flies but the rest of that experience was amazing.
