Sunset Kayak Tour In Cancun

Great experience. Good for beginners. Our guide Andres taught us the basic skills for Kayaking before we start and inform us of every step when we were passing through the channel. Andres also gave us good information about different sea life and animals in the region. Kayaking in the lagoon is an amazing experience and we arrived just in time for the beautiful sunset. It’s a shame that not many people would try this activity in Cancun. I strongly recommend for those who wants to do a bit of exercise, have fun and see the beautiful sunset.

This tour was the first excursion that we did in Cancun (after we got in from airport) and it was absolutely hands-down fabulous! The guides were excellent, the scenery was amazing, the pace was good and they talked about all the animals and fish in different flows in the mangroves…. We got a bunch of great photos and would totally do this again.. for a 2 hr tour , great price, family friendly. A+++

Beautiful eco adventure in the Cancun lagoon mangroves! Manta rays and oceanic birds galore! Tour guide Andres was very informative and passionate about the local ecosystem. Bring sunscreen and bug spray! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our tour!! Andrs was incredibly welcoming and a fantastic guide, knowledgeable and leading local conservation work - we took an evening tour and saw many birds, sting rays, a lobster, and an awesome sunset. Will do again the next time we are in Cancun! Tip: Bring cash because you will want to leave a tip! And get curious - your guides are locals and will answer your nature questions. Mangroves provide critical protection against hurricanes and a core ecosystem. Appreciate this special experience!

Very beautiful scenery and relaxing experience. I do wish they explained the proper paddle form at the start, but they helped as we went a long. The weather was very windy the day we went, but the guides contacted us prior to the start and allowed us to reschedule if we didn’t feel comfortable. Overall it was a good experience in a small group. I loved watching the sunset and seeing the animals.

Kayaking in the Cancun lagoon was an unforgettable experience and a perfect break from the busy hotel zone. Passing through the mangroves felt peaceful and almost surreal. Andres was knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out local wildlife and explaining the ecosystem, which made the experience even more meaningful.

While I reached out before the tour via both email and WhatsApp, the rescheduling request was denied. To be specific, I submitted my request during July, which is considered the low season. Despite the less busy season, they refused to accommodate the change.

Had a great evening paddle through the mangroves with Damien. Damien was relaxed, congenial, and excited to share his knowledge of Cancun Bay and the mangroves. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Best experience of our stay at Cancun! It was our first time kayaking ever but due to the good instructions of our guide, everything went very smooth even it was very windy and low tide at the laguna. We learned a lot about the ecological system, animals, plants and enjoyed the peaceful and serene athmosphere. The guys there are cleaning the laguna every month and are doing a great job to preserve this beautiful place! If you are looking for alternative tourism, don‘t hesitate and book this unforgetable experience!

I feel guilty "ruining" the all 5 reviews but didn't feel like this warranted one. This was overall a nice experience and the guides were wonderful but the kayaking part itself was quite boring for about 75% of the time and the open sea part of it was quite difficult with the stream against you (maybe easier in the morning?). The part where you actually go in the narrow parts was a lot of fun and quite challenging (in a good way) but that was about 30-40 min of the 2+ hour experience. We were with kids so that definitely made it harder but we have been on many kayak trips with them and I never worked this hard... Also, while sunset sounds fun and romantic, it basically means you have the sun in your eyes most of the time.

My daughter and I joined Andres for an evening paddle. It was one of our favourite experiences in Cancun. An experience so far removed from the typical hotel zone activities, while only steps from our hotel. His knowledge of and love for the ecology of the area was readily apparent. Highly recommend.

Completely enjoy the experience. More strenuous than most excursions but not exhausting. Guides were excellent and truly cared about the environment and the condition of the lagoon

Andres was an excellent guide with tons of information about the ecosystem - the plants and animals. The kayaks were in great shape. It was so peaceful and calm we would do it again in a heartbeat! A nice change from the hotel zone noise. We did the sunset tour - take mosquito spray - there's a bunch out there! Andres had some for us. We saw several herons, different crabs, and even a baby crocodile! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing guides, super small group (5 total) and perfectly paced. We did go on a day with intense winds but it was still fantastic, even the beginners of the group enjoyed.

Andres is very knowledgeable and gave great instructions prior to the kayaking trip. It was educational, relaxing and adventurous all in one. The views/environment was very beautiful and unique and we saw some animals. Definitely recommend this excursion!

I was surprised how immersive this tour can get. You go far from the noise of the hotels district, deep into the mangroves. I will suggest this to anyone traveling to Cancun.

This tour was fantastic, Andrés was so good. He has so much knowledge of the local area and wildlife, very honest genuine person, sends you some photos with no extra charge. He was always looking out for wildlife for us to see and found us a baby crocodile. Such good value would recommend to anyone coming to Cancun. The lagoon is overlooked but is really beautiful and a nice peaceful change from the other side of the hotel zone.

You should absolutely, 100% book this. Our kayak tour was by far the best part of our trip to Cancun. Andrés was kind and encouraging to those if us in our party that were nervous, and with his guidance all nerves were gone within the first 5 minutes on the water. You can tell that he enjoys what he does and his enthusiasm is contagious. The equipment was is great shape. The scenery is absolutely wonderful. I was a little worried I would be exhausted, but once you get the hang of the oar, it's actually not as physical as I assumed. For two mid-forties adults and two teenagers, we weren't even sore the next day.

We love this tour. Andres is very knowledgeable about the ecosystem of the area. We loved how he shared his passion of preserving nature. We went for the sunrise kayak tour and it was just so peaceful and serene. Andres picked up all the garbage we saw, even if he had to go out of his way. I would go again when we visit cancun again.

Andrés is a fantastic guide! Knows a lot about the eco system of the mangrove. I felt safe and had an amazing adventure! Saw a few flamingos in flight, stingrays and cute little starfish booked one day in advance for sunset, a few rain clouds, but we still went.

We joined a trip through the mangroves at the end of July and loved the chance to see another side of Cancun which is a real escape into nature. Hard to believe this is so close to the glitz of the Hotel Zone and yet feels like a real escape into nature. Oscar, our guide was brilliant at highlighting some of the wildlife that we would never have spotted without him. Would highly recommend.

It was a great tour. Andrés was a great guide. He took us through a lot of narrow straits with dense mangroves. It helped to escape from the heat. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to escape into nature though you can hear boats sometimes.

Thiis little mangrove forest in the middle of the city is a hidden treasure! What a beautiful area to kayak! Worth every minute. Great experience!! the scenery was beautiful, the guide was a very cool guy, gave us good info and tips. the only issue was that when we got there me and my 2 brothers in law, he had assigned a 2 person kayak and a single, they should ask first, the business offers both options in this site.

This is the best experience I had in Cancun. Inside of the trees, it is so peaceful and quiet. we also see a lot of birds, fish. In addition, the guide is very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. I would come back again if I am visiting Cancun next time

We really enjoyed this kayak tour. We navigated mangrove trails and enjoyed peace on the lagoon in the middle of Cancun. Our guides were friendly and helped anyone who needed it,. They had great equipment which made it easier to navigate our tandem kayak well, even being over 50 with limited kayak experience. Would definitely do it again!

Andres , our tour guide, was great in this experience. I did the tour at first time in the morning and had a great time surrounded by nature and a peaceful environment. Love all the learning I did from this , and definitely recommend to do this at least once ! You will love it .
