Small-group Mesoamerican Barrier Reef Snorkeling In Puerto Morelos

This was easy from start to finish. Freddie and Bioncey were wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable and fun!

The reef was amazing with beautiful underwater snorkeling vistas all around. Our guide Freddy and Captain B were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a fabulous experience we highly recommend.

Our guide Christopher was wonderful! I traveled with my children and we were the only ones in the boat for our tour. My younger kids got scared and he took the time to teach them and make them feel comfortable. Making the whole experience even better since could all enjoy. No fluff or extras, show up get suited up, and head out! Highly recommend This tour

Had so much fun! Instructor was attentive and knowledgeable. We saw many fish, a turtle, and a baby nurse shark! The length of the experience was perfect, as we weren’t experienced at all. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend!

I've gone snorkeling in Cancun many times, but this tour with Wet Set Diving Adventures was by far the best! Our guide was incredible - leading us along the reef, where we saw so many fishes and even spotted a large gray sea turtle. It's just heartbreaking to see how bleached and colorless the coral reefs have become. The team's expertise made this an unforgettable trip. Highly recommend!

Was a fabulous experience, we had a lot of fun. The tour is well organized. One of the few tours where there was no sitting around waiting…. A fast short walk to the boat, quickly loaded and we were off! For the 2 hour tour we spent about 1.5 hours in the water, loved it. Christopher is a great guide and very knowledgeable. We saw tons of fish, a turtle, ray, and nurse shark!

Very nice trip with guide Freddy and captain Marco. We were lucky enough to have the trip only with family, so we had all the attention of the guide. They were nice and knowledgeable and the added touch of water and snacks halfway was very nice. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience from the moment we got there. Super easy checking in next thing you know your on the boat heading out. Guide and Captain super friendly and our guide really made it about snorkeling. The whole time we were in the water we were exploring. Absolutely amazing trip. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 2 hour snorkeling experience with Christopher and Jaguar. My husband and I ended up being the only ones on the boat which was lucky because my husband had a full blown panic attack the minute he hit the water. Christopher helped calm him expertly and towed him on the safety raft the entire way - pointing out stingrays, a barracuda and even a rare octopus. We never felt unsafe (just anxiety panic!) and despite pure terror my husband was able to do the entire expedition. Can’t recommend highly enough - once in a lifetime experience

We went on three snorkeling trips on our vacation and this one was the best for snorkeling Marchioness. Oh captain “Pollo” was very friendly and our guide, Freddy, was excellent. We really appreciate it, his pace, of snorkeling- slow and tranquil and really enjoying all there was to see. He took us to some beautiful shallow reefs and had a nice calm disposition. It was an excellent value- highly recommended.

This snorkel experience was the highlight of our trip! We saw a green sea turtle, eagle ray, nurse shark, barracudas, healthy coral, and a variety of beautiful fish (so grateful for our guide Christopher’s knowledge of the reef!!). The team at Wet Set Diving Adventures did an excellent job of making sure we felt safe and had fun throughout the experience. My partner and I took an uber down to Puerto Morelos from the Cancun hotel zone and felt the meetup point was easy to find. Book this!!!

Terrific experience and great staff. Easy to find loation. Small group away from crowds. Amazing reefs with multiple fish and turtles, and plenty of time snorkeling - at least an hour. Highly recommended.

Snorkeling was amazing, captain and guide were personable and funny. Wet suits, life jackets, fins, mask and snorkel all provided in cost. There is a locker for your belongings and shower with nice towels when you are done. We saw so many colorful fish , baracudas, and even swam beside a large turtle. Very fun morning and would definitely recommend for beginners or pros . And no hidden costs .

We all had a great time. We had 2 kids 8 & 10 plus grandma. The guide and captain were great. We felt safe at all times. We saw a huge pika dotted sting ray, a nursing shark, a lobster and tons of beautiful fish and corals.

It’s great fun! The only thing was that it was difficult to find the place in the morning. People were telling us to wait at the wrong places. I had to not believe them and ask around until I found the place just in time. Besides that the guides and the tour were wonderful!

Such a great experience, Chris, Juan, and Pollo were fantastic. We saw a vast amount of sea life including nurse sharks, eaglerays, turtles and more. I really appreciated seeing how much the guides cared for the conservation of the reef.

Freddy was a great guide! He pointed out so many fish and other sea creatures. We loved it so much we are going back for a second trip. We also appreciated Captain Pollo. 😊

Wet set was excellent! Boat ride was only a few minutes from the reef! We saw 2 sea turtles, 3-4 big eagle rays, an eel, squid, and even a nurse shark! Would 100% go back. Our guide Mario was awesome!

No fear of water would be helpful. But expect to see fish alot of fish.... big fish sometimes sharks rays and turtlez

We snorkel with Wet Set every tune mmm years when we visit in Puerto Morelos, they’re part of what makes this place so special! This time, Christopher was an amazing guide, and we saw SO MANY incredible fish, including: spotted eagle rays (several, two different times!), several small round rays well hidden in the sand, a green sea turtle, a big nurse shark swimming (!), a big pufferfish, many angelfish small and large, and many many barracuda! Our group was only four and we were all capable swimmers, which meant that our guide could go a bit farther and spend most of his time seeking out wonderful things for us to see. We have gone on snorkeling tours with the Wet Set more than 10 times now, and each time is a great experience, I highly recommend!

Well coordinated, professional staff; fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledgable and enthusiastic guide. We were lucky enough to see 3 eagle rays, many huge schools of many species of fish, and a little bit of fish drama. Our last Viator snorkel tour was crowded and unsafe; this was completely different. One of the best caribbean snorkels we've been on.

No personal items or sunscreen allowed on boat. You are actually snorkeling (mask in water) for 1.5 hours. Reef and fish beautiful. Must follow guide in a line as it is a national park.

We wanted to find an excursion that was JUST a snorkeling experience. This was exactly that. Life jacket is mandatory. They provide snorkel, fin, and even a wetsuit if you want one. The tour guide is very knowledgeable. We saw rays, turtles, sharks, and jellyfish. Beautiful coral.

Absolutely worth it! We were able to see so many colorful fish, a turtle, and other marine species in a relaxed and not at all crowded environment.

A very good experience. We have never snorkeled and had no idea what a reef looked like. Neither was a problem as the guides made it very easy. We were able to see all of the marine life that was in the areas we explored and the guide pointed out unique features for us. The cons are that it felt a bit rushed and we did not go to two locations, we simply went back to the boat for a "snack" of a cup of water and a granola bar. We then got back into the water at the same location. I would have preferred to not waste that time and stayed in the water if we weren't going to a different location.

Booked 1030 and loved every moment of it. Saw barracudas, sting ray, small shark, 3 turtles, and colorful fishies. The coral reef was beautiful and enchanting. Guide Juan was helpful in detecting what animals to look out for. I wouldnt have even known there was a shark or sting ray if I wasnt looking for them! Amazing experience, I highly recommend it :)

Everyone involved with our snorkeling trip to the reef was fantastic and helpful. We were fitted for gear and checked in, and accommodations were made for a diverse group of inexperienced snorkelers. We had a great skipper and our dive master kept us from harming the fragile reef all while letting us get a glimpse of the local aquatic life. My wife was a wee sick and woozy from the boat ride, and all of the staff were kind and considerate in helping her get her land legs back.

Was perfect for our family of 5. Some of us have snorkeled before and our 11 and 14 year olds were newbies. I liked that wetsuits were available.

Our captain and guide were very friendly. We were the only ones on the tour so that made it nice. I recommend going on the early tour as we did because the water is usually calmer and it’s less busy at the reef.

This was a fab excursion! We were the only people on our booking so we basically got a private snorkelling tour of the reef! The instructor was very knowledgeable about the creatures we saw and you can tell they really care about conserving the beautiful reef. We were lucky enough to see a water turtle, an eagle ray, many barracuda and plenty of fish. Great experience for the price! X

We really appreciate Wet Set! We have used them a few different trips! This time we did a reef snorkel and a cenote snorkel. Christopher was our guide for both trips. He was great! So kind, caring and definitely passionate about the animals and the environments we visited. At the cenote snorke, itl was so cool seeing the stalagmites and stalactites! And we had the whole place to ourselves! Definitely recommend Wet Set!
