Shared Transportation From Cancun Airport To Puerto Morelos

We found the agency outside right away. They were the ones just chilling off to the side away from all the aggressive taxi people. We only waited about 10 minutes to see if others showed up but since they didn't we got the van to ourselves. Everyone was very nice and it went smoothly

When we booked we provided all the necessary information including flights, hotel destination, etc. When we arrived and went to check in at the Nexus Transfers desk they had no record of our reservation. This resulted in almost two hours of the Nexus staff searching and trying to reach Viator until finally the Nexus Supervisor felt sorry for us and arranged a driver to take us to our hotel. We were so late arriving that everything was closed and it was very inconvenient. According to the driver this is a common experience when booking through Viator. Live and learn. Never again.

Upon checking in with Nexus, we were told there would be a 30 minute wait until the rest of our group had arrived. Shortly thereafter, they learned that the flight for the remaining passengers was delayed so they took us immediately to our resort. We appreciated their willingness to take us individually vs waiting for the others.

Easy, friendly, great value - although we choose the shared option, we just waited 20min, no one else came so it was just the two of us. It was perfect.

Very professional. Easy process. Since it is a shared ride service, we had to wait 25-30 minutes for other riders. Once we left, very easy ride, with complimentary water and beer. Great customer service.

My friend and I used a shared ride to get from Cancun airport to Puerto Morelos. The whole process was easy: reservation, confirmation, finding Nexus rep at the airport, and the transportation. We shared the van with another family, who was dropped off first, and then we were taken to our hotel. I would certainly use them again.

Transportation to/from the airport was okay. Drivers seemed friendly enough. Side note; Nexus Tours also employs another contract company called Del Valle that we didn't realize. My iPhone must've dropped in between the seats when I got out of the van. I wasn't paying attention because my urgency was to hit the bathroom! When I returned, the van was gone and that's when I realized my phone was left in the van. Just call the driver and he'll turnaround and give it back, right? NOPE! According to Nexus you have to fill out a report and they are prohibited from contacting the driver directly. Even with GPS plots from "Find my Phone", van #, license plate, driver's name their answer was always "No podemos localizarlo" (we can't locate it). I never met a more lazy, dismissive, and possibly dishonest group of people in my travels! The last GPS plot locates my phone at the Del Valle Compound and they still refuse to call or investigate my situation further. Just Uber/Taxi to the compound yourself, you say? NO driver will wait for you because they said it was too dangerous! I've been without my phone since 3/18/2025....out of the country!

In all fairness, I have Nexus a low star rating for my transfer from the CUN airport to the hotel because of a very long wait time. On the way back, my shuttle arrived at the hotel just about 10 minutes after the arranged time, which is really not a delay when one thinks about the heavy traffic. I'll give them another try in a month or two. The pricing is fair and reasonable.

My booking showed confirmed but when I arrived they said I never provided hotel information but indeed I did. Took a taxi for less. While there, same thing happened ro someone else. Don't recommend

Despite having supplied the operator with my arrival time several weeks before the trip and an on time arrival if my flight, I had to wait 43 minutes for my shuttle. When I arrived at the Nexus "counter" I was first told 10 minutes wait, then no more than 30 minutes. That became 43 minutes. I've never had such issues with other local shuttle services. Maybe the trip back to the CUN airport will be better.

**Update: I recently wrote a review about my experience using Nexus Tours for transport for departure from hotel in Playa Del Carmen to airport on Trip Advisor. It was not a favourable review. Management read the review and asked me to contact them to solve the issue. I did email and almost immediately, I was emailed back to resolve my bad experience. Within an hour of emails back and forth, steps were taken to investigate and rectify my experience. I believe that Nexus Tours is sincere in wanting every experience to be a good one whether going to the airport or on one of their many tours. I would now, not hesitate to use Nexus Tours wherever I may travel. Jane

Easy to find at the airport and did not wait long for my transfer, it was just me in the end, all good and easy.

I forgot my Authorization Info but they were able to look up my name and confirmed I was good. They were outside the Terminal area and an authorized airport support service guy assisted me in locating them.

I had to wait about 30 minutes before departing the airport, which is quite acceptable for shared transportation. The Price was half of all other offers Found online. The shuttle was a bit old and tired, but had Working AC. The driver was very professional.

Quick and Easy! Was Lucky to only wait 5 mins before we left! I was the only one in the Van even though it was a shared transportation

This was incredibly smooth. Everyone communicated and helped beyond the basics. We had trouble finding our hotel and the driver wanted to stay to help us. We insisted we could find it- he was very sweet and kind. We did find our place easily. I highly recommend

Great driver. He stopped at 7/11 to allow us to grab breakfast. He was friendly and very safe driver. Cons. At the airport they were a bit disorganized. We had to wait half hour for them to get our ride.

Nexus was ready and waiting for us when we arrived, private is the way to go always! No waiting for the bus to load or stopping at every resort. Fast and easy.

Horrible way to start a trip! They are inconsiderate, unorganized and have lack of communication skills! I waiting over an hour to leave the Airport since I booked shared ride. There were no private options available at the time of booking. Nexus needs to get more workers or figure out how to property transport guest in a prior time.

Attentive staff and we’re waiting although our flight was over 10 hours delayed. Organized and helpful as soon as we saw them they confirmed our names with their list to make sure they have the correct people. Very clean, big shuttle van! Loved it! Only issue was our driver when we arrived was going way too fast everyone on the van was worried and even on the potholes he didn’t slow down so we were bounced around too much! He definitely was doing 180-200km but the speed in some areas was 60 or 40. Nice man but it was 3am in the morning and after a long tiring flight it was rough!

Both coming and going to our resort was a complete disaster and nexus was nothing but an issue. I will never trust nexus to take care of my family again

NexusTours was great! I booked them weeks before we arrived in Cancun, and they were so prompt when arriving to the airport. We also used them to book a Catamaran to Isla Mujeres, and it was SO much fun! Juan from NexusTours helped us out, and he was so great, helpful, informative, and gave us a great deal! Overall we loved our experience with Nexus.
