We would like to thank Danny RA of nexus travel agent for arranging our Cocobongo and airport transfer. She was so helpful and very knowledgeable. Kind and reliable agent. Nexus was a reliable company. No scam and no hidden fees. Very legit👍🏻

Jose L did an awesome job for our transport.
My sister booked a round trip for two for a total of $36.00 from Cancun airport to Royalton Chic. I booked the same airport transfer for 2, the same dates and was charged $72.00. They ask for YOUR flight times, but they choose when there going to pick you up. Our return flight was at 2pm. They said our pickup time was at 9am. We requested for a later time, and they said we would have to book a new reservation for $35 private transportation. Long story short. Uber is just as convenient and much cheaper.
Excellent Service by Karina at Riu Ventura! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riu Ventura, and a huge reason for that was Karina. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, warm, and helpful. She effortlessly guided us through various processes and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. When we were looking to book an excursion, we told her we wanted to go snorkeling, and the specific trip she recommended turned out to be the absolute highlight of our vacation—it was the best experience we could have asked for! What truly blew us away was her dedication. Even on her day off, she remained available to help us via phone chat whenever we needed assistance. That level of care and commitment is rare and so deeply appreciated. We highly recommend anyone staying at Riu Ventura to connect with Karina to ensure your needs are fully taken care of. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us and will definitely look for her when we return! Thank you so much, Karina!
As a travel agent who previously booked Nexus for clients, I will no longer use or recommend their services. Reliable transportation and responsive customer service are basic expectations, and Nexus failed on both counts. My sister and I had pre-booked airport transfers through Nexus and waited more than three hours after arriving for transportation that never came. We were repeatedly given conflicting information by different representatives and ultimately told no shuttle was available. We had to pay out of pocket for a taxi and missed an important wedding event because of the delay. What is even more disappointing is that after three months of follow-up, Nexus has still failed to resolve the issue or provide meaningful compensation.
Nexus tours was our representative from the airport and at the hotel. Angeles was so pleasant to deal with and helpful with all our excursions booking. Definitely gave us the best pricing. This company is highly recommended when in Cancun Mexico.
Very poor communication and not reliable transportation if you are going on vacation. Did not communicate if they are picking us up from the resort, said there was an accident and told us to get a taxi on our own expense. We almost missed our flight back to Toronto if we did not reach to them to get an answer if they are picking us up. Choose your transfer wisely from airport to resort and vice versa. This tours is owned by Sunwing travel which is now WestJet.
Transportation to and from the airport. Went right to the resort from the airport. That was great! Had questions and they were quick with answers prior to the trip.
Booked through Expedia as an All-inclusive vacation to Bahia Pincipe Tulum. My husband and 3 kids arrived at Cancun airport, having downloaded the transfer app and "checking in" with the Nexus transfer desk. We then proceeded to wait over 2 hours , being told that there had been canceled flights so the transfers were limited. The runaround was nuts- with "advisors" telling us it wouldn't be too long and then others saying "yes, you may want to take one of the taxis" (several taxi drivers surrounding and trying to get other waiting passengers to hire them ). It was a nightmare trying to get any info but we waited it out (bc I wasn't going to pay more for a private taxi) and FINALLY we were put on a shared shuttle. It was really terrible way to start out trip and I wouldn't recommend this company. Arrange for a private shuttle or other service.
For anyone who doesn't want to start or end their vacation on an extremely sour note we would say DO NOT BOOK the nexus transportation from or to the airport in Cancun! While the drivers are good and attentive, the line to the Nexus tour booth at the airport reminded us the COVID times... LOL when we were ready to take our "free" shopping tour that was part of the Sunwing vacation booking (another company that we will never use again) we were told that we needed to give them a lot more time to book (over 24 hours) and then call them back to confirm if it was arranged or not. On our return to Canada, their agent booked our transportation 4.5 hours ahead of our flight (although our hotel was only 15 minutes away from the airport) and no one answered the phone to rearrange. After reaching to a live agent (and this was after a while trying to solve the issue with AI) which took about 45 minutes, our chat was dropped back to AI 3 times... Then we were told to just stick to given time because we chose shared transportation... Well, I guess we will never use them again!
We went to Cancun for 9 days and had the best experience from bus pickup at cancun airport to bus back to cancun airport after our vacation was over. Nexustours /Sunwing was very helpful in any questions or any problems we encountered and our representative Eric Almazo was there every time we needed him with advice and guidance. I hope if I ever return we have the pleasure of him guiding our needs again. We had an excellent experience thanks to Eric Almazo!!
Great experience. Staff helped us navigate the airport, Ray Uribe was kind, informative and supportive, helping us confirm our return shuttle and understand our options and timing.
Just a heads up for anyone booking airport transfers in Cancun — be careful when dealing with NexusTours. I paid $35 USD for what was advertised as a private taxi from Riu Dunamar to Cancun Airport. What we actually got was the complete opposite. We were put on a shared bus — the same one that would have been available to us for free — and they even picked up passengers from other resorts along the way. So essentially, we paid extra for a service we never received. If I had known it would be a shared transfer, I would have just taken the complimentary bus and saved the money. Really disappointing experience and definitely something to watch out for when booking transportation. Make sure you confirm exactly what you’re getting — because in our case, it was not what was promised.
Very straight forward and welcoming! Ivan made sure to answer all of our questions! Thank you!
I had booked what I thought was a van to transport my family of 7 people. Our vacation pkg with Westjet included transfer from cancun airport to sandos by bus but we decided to go with a smaller vehicle hence the booking of the van. I assumed shared transport meant shared by 7 people and perhaps 2 more others. When we got to the Viator (nexus) checkin we were told that we would be travelling by bus and that my booking (shared) meant that it could be van or bus depending on number of people. Therefore I paid for something that was already included. I still do not know what happened. I do not know what will happen when it is time to return.
Amstar is always incredibly efficient, dependable and prompt. Oscar was extremely helpful with excursions.
They helped me and my husband With our transport to the airport. They was a big problem because we had to change hotel. But the staff at the excursion desk helped rectify and clear up the situation. They went above and beyond and handled everything fast and efficiently. Laura and 2 other gentlemen were the kindest and most patient. They took my stress level from 10 back down to 0! THANK YOU!
I realize flights were delayed so maybe their original plans for how to group people didn’t work out. But waiting about an hour for a shuttle seems excessive?
The arrival at the airport was very chaotic. We were at least 500 people waiting for their transportation and, nobody knew where to go. We somehow foundout a clue to where to go and take our transport to the hôtel. Fortunately, Karina at the Riu Palace Kukulkan was awazing. She helped us with everything and made sure our transportation and our stay at the hôtel was perfect. Her enegry and kindness is amazing. She is really awesome! I want to thank her for everything she helped us with our stay at the hôtel!
Diana Fernanda Soto was very kind and helpful. Whenever we needed to communicate she was responsive right away
Great services, Josue Horat was great and assist me with return transportation. Really recommended is service and worth it.
We had a very good experience dealing with michaelle specifically. She was always available to genuinely help us out. This changed out view of nexus.
Michaelle César was our Nexus tour agent and she was fantastic! She arranged our trip to and from Cancun airport to our resort in Cancun Hotel Zone at GR Solaris. She next finalized and arranged our trip to XCaret Park and Playa Del Carmen on 2 different days -again arranged the transport from our resort and back. XCaret was out of this world. The service was seamless! Michaelle was friendly and a professional. Nexus tours is a great option for all visiting from Canada and elsewhere. I especially liked the fact that I could communicate with Michaelle via WhatsApp to confirm time/ drivers/ status and ask questions, which she responded to right away. Loved our time in Cancun, thanks to Nexus Tours, their agents, drivers and all the great services they provided in very good vehicles and vans. Thank you Michaelle and Nexus Tours! Keep up the great service!!
We were assigned Luis Hernandez as our designated tour guide for the during of our trip as we were attending a wedding. Luis was nothing but accommodating the entire trip and made our travel experience super easy. I 100% recommend using Luis and his team for your trip and plan on referring him to other friends who plan on travelling to Cancun or other destinations nearby. - Daniel K.
Upon landing at the Cancun airport, Nexustours had a challenge locating/confirming our reservation to take us to our hotel November 25/26. They were exceptionally busy at the time and could not initially guarantee a solution. Employee Fabricio went over and above to work with us and his reservation team to ensure they found a way to get us to our destination. Fabricio, you are an asset to the Nexustours team! Thank you
This is the second and last time ill be using them for airport transfers. Both times now they have scheduled our pickup back to the airport so early you have to sit there for 4+ hours. You cannot even check your baggage more than 3 hours before your flight there. Definitely get a private transfer or a taxi. The extra money is worth not wasting your time. When asking and trying to change the transfer time they are completely unhelpful and will not budge. They simply do no care.
I’m writing this review to warn other travelers about my recent experience with the shuttle services connected to the Valentine Imperial. This is the second time we’ve used this company, and for the second time, we ended up waiting over an hour at the airport for our transfer to the hotel. While delays can happen, this seems to be a recurring issue with this agency, and it’s much longer than what we’ve experienced with other transfer companies. Unfortunately, the situation on our return trip was far worse. On the morning of November 15th, 2025, when I went to confirm our pre-paid shuttle back to the airport, I was told by the travel agency representative (Diego) that we were not allowed to use the shuttle we already paid for. His reasoning was that we hadn’t attended a sales meeting earlier in the week — something that was never mentioned at booking and completely unrelated to the transportation we purchased. Despite explaining this and my surprise that a paid service would be withheld over a sales presentation, I was simply told “that’s how it works,” and no assistance was offered. We were left stranded and had to pay 1,300 MXN for a last-minute taxi to the airport. I’ve already submitted a formal complaint to the agency, but I’m sharing this here so other travelers know what to expect. If you rely on timely, reliable transfers or expect the services you pay for to be honored, I recommend being extremely cautious or considering a different transfer provider.
I was assisted with booking my transportation back to the airport and it was very helpful. Mauricio helped me and my friends
Fernando went above and beyond to help me purchase my transportation ticket online, get it confirmed, and adjust the pickup time - even though this specific ticket type isn’t normally sold directly through the agency. His patience, and willingness to assist with every detail were truly exceptional. Outstanding service - thank you, Fernanndo!
Michaelle César and Neri Perez did a phenomenal job arrange ground transportation to and from my hotel to the Cancun Airport. Service was timely, efficient and friendly. :) Thank you so much!
Amazingly helpful, not only did we book a fabulous trip with nexus, but when our flight had been cancelled the representatives julio and Rubi went out of their way to help us get sorted They honestly made a very difficult situation so much better, without them I’m not sure what we would have done
The folks were friendly and very accommodating. They made sure that we were very comfortable and got us to our destination in a timely fashion.
We had the pleasure of working with our virtual concierge, Señor Julio Reyes, and he was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to help us confirm our shared transfer, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Julio was professional, helpful, and quick to respond to our needs. His assistance made a big difference in our experience, and we are very grateful for his support. Highly recommend his service!
Shared trip from airport to hotel was affordable and seamless. Nexus tours had agents with easily recognizable orange uniforms waiting at airport exit. I waited for about 10 minutes. Our ride was a Mercedes Sprinter. It was clean and very comfortable. I had two other companions. Our driver was very professional and friendly. The trip took about 40 minutes.
We had a great time in viva Azteca resort . West jet representative Sandra Bohacek was kind and answered all my questions . She provided me with her WhatsApp phone number to contact her directly . I felt at ease knowing that a local representative is around and willing to answer questions and help out any time .
Always safe, professional and reliable transportation company. We have traveled with them many times. Thank you ✌️🙏💚
I was greeted by Julio Reyes right from the start. He was very professional as to my needs or any assistance. I had to confirm if one of my excursions was going to pick me up at my hotel. He assured me that the pick up at my hotel is confirmed. On my last day, I had to confirm if my shared transfer was going to pick me up as the NEXUS app did not show the details. He said there was a glitch in the system and assured me that I would be picked up by the transfer and sent me screen shot of details. Thank you Julio for your detailed attention 😊 🙏🏽
Sandra at Nexus Royalton Chic Cancun was awesome. I was having issues with my airport transportation and she stepped in and allowed me to go enjoy my day while she took care of making sure I had transportation.
Our transfer driver arrived late to pick us up from the airport. We had a barcode with our names, email confirmation and text confirming pickup. He did not have our names and said he couldn’t pick us up. I called Nexus to see what they could do and he said, he would take us. He loaded our luggage and then proceeded to spend 30 minutes filling out paperwork. I tried to explain that we were now almost an hour late leaving for the airport, he couldn’t have cared less. We finally paid for a taxi (despite having a confirmed transfer that we had already paid for) and made it in time. I would never use this company. We were in Cancun for a wedding and learned at the airport that others had a similar problem which meant this is how they treat their customers.
I had an incredible experience booking a last-minute trip and was connected via chat with Elizabeth Pablo! She went above and beyond to ensure my transfers were added, correct, and active. Elizabeth also helped me seamlessly navigate a delay on another reservation. Her thoroughness and dedication to meeting all my needs were truly impressive. I highly recommend her services
The onsite customer is below average! These agents have no regard for your time, do not provide timely updates and will have you waiting almost two hours for a transfer to your hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND! P31777
BEWARE!!!! Book at own risk. Do not pay extra for Shared Direct!! This is the second year in a row that we have used this service to get transport to our hotel from the Cancun airport. We paid extra for SHARED DIRECT TRANSPORT. First year we were told that out "Shared Direct would take 2 hours to come and they were going to just put us on a bus that would have multi stops. We refused, and finally got thrown on a bus 2.5 hrs later. Thought maybe it was a one off. Booked again this year, and waited 3 hrs for a SHARED DIRECT that we paid extra for. Again we were put on a bus after 2 hours, but then had to wait another hour until they filled it up before we could go. They did drop us off first, after driving past everybody else's resorts. Felt sorry for those passengers! We were told to meet our representative the next morning in our hotel lobby, who did not bother to show up at all. We were told by hotel staff that they never come and he laughed and said that I would need to contact them. I called their number and left a message on an answering machine, and nobody ever returned my call. Two days before we were to leave a fellow hotel patron told us about an Nexus app, so I downloaded it, saw that we were scheduled for pick up but no time was given. After multiple attempt's I was finally able to confirm with an online agent through the app that I did have a pickup time. It was not until the night before we left that our app showed a pick up time. We showed up the 5 mins before pickup time as required, and they did not show up. Hotel staff graciously called 2x before we were finally picked up 40 mins late. Again we were totally forgotten about. When the driver did show up, he did not appear happy, like we were an inconvenience, and did not even greet us, or say one word to us for the 1hr 15 min drive to the airport. I think this was because he had an empty bus, and was not going to make his tip money for this ride. I will not be using this service again, and would advise you choosing it. Instead contact your hotel, as many have their own transpport service, or know of a good reputable service. BEWARE!!!!
Booking was straightforward, but making changes was challenging due to poor communication. When our flight was delayed, they refused to adjust our pickup time. We requested an upgrade to a private vehicle, which was confirmed by an agent over text but never happened. In the end, we had to take a taxi to the airport, paying extra (which was still cheaper than Nexus). The transfer from the airport to the hotel went smoothly, with a short wait and a comfortable van. However, communication via text and the app needs significant improvement.
My flight was canceled due to the weather in Montreal. As a solo traveler visiting Cancun for the first time, Erick Almazo, nexus agent made sure everything went smoothly for me—handling my hotel extension, transportation, and more.
I do not recommend this agency at all! Poor service and poor quality!!! We were forcefully sold a inaurance protection plan with our Free shopping tour. When we asked why, the rep (Jeorge) said its because you are not purchasing a excursion with us thats why we have to pay administration fee. We paid $25 for shopping tour. Our package included pick up and drop off service to and from the hotel by Nexus. We waited at the hotel for our departure 40 mins until the Nexus rep (jeorge)came to us to say we have to take taxi and that there is no service. in the morning he insisted we be in the lobby by 2:10 for our pick up time. When we asked when would we be picked up he said we are required to arrange our own taxi this is not their problem. Our itinerary said our provider is Nexus but the rep said their company does return with private agency- they didn't even support us . When booking our package we were advised that nexus is our transport service provider, I would expect them to make alternative arrangement for us in such instances. This entire experience felt like a money grab. SHAME ON YOU NEXUSTOURS!!!
Well worth the price and we don’t have to share our return trip to the airport. We would use this service again.
I would take a moment to thank you Jose Sanchez so much for all you and sunwing has done to make my 30th special. A special thanks you for recommending me xcaret!! It was a life time experience.. Gracias!!☺️
Nexus just did not come to pick us up from resort to airport. They sent van to some other place. It’s takes about 25-30 minutes of waiting time just to get answer on wats up chat. We took some private ride to airport, paid 200$!! Nexus never refunded payment, they said, you should have a receipt!!! In private taxi in Mexico)))) When you are 75 kilometers from airport , 4 hours before plane, the last thing you are thinking, it’s a receipt for taxi…… highly not recommended! When I contacted my travel agent, he said, they have another 3 cases with same issue….. PS I did confirm ride and pick up time day before…. Just crazy 🤬
I recently booked round trip car service from Cancun Airport to Planet Hollywood Cancun through Nexus Tours, and it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. First off, let me say that the resort itself claimed to be 5-star, but I quickly realized that it did not live up to those expectations, and unfortunately, neither did the car service provided by Nexus. Upon arrival, I called to confirm that our driver would be waiting for us since we hadn’t heard anything. The representative rushed us off the phone without asking for our name, airline, or any flight details, simply assuring us that the driver would be there. However, when we landed, there was no one from Nexus in sight. After waiting for a considerable time and realizing they were a no-show, we had to pay $150 for a taxi to get to the resort. It was incredibly frustrating and unnecessary. To top it off, when I responded to an email from them to book an excursion, I received a reply stating that my inquiry went to the “wrong department.” This lack of organization and customer service is unacceptable. It seems many others have had similar experiences, so please believe the reviews. I would strongly advise against using Nexus Tours for transportation. Save yourself the headache and look for a more reliable service!
Disappointing Experience and Ridiculous Pricing I’m NOT the type of person that writeS reviews , but I feel compelled to put my frustration in writing so that others are aware. I had an incredibly frustrating experience with NexusTours in Cancun. They essentially wanted to forced me to upgrade to private transportation by scheduling my shared ride pickup 6.5 hours before my flight to New York for a trip that was only 20 minutes to the airport. This was completely unreasonable and inconvenient, leaving me with little choice but to consider other options. I gave the flight information. They requested four times, and they wouldn’t provide the pick up times… they kept pushing the private ride, when I asked how much it was it ( which was likely a mistake as it let them know that I would consider it) they said they needed to get back to me… the day before the guy called me confirming and where would he send me the payment link even though I still did not know how much it was… It was very shady. When I told him I needed to know how much it was that’s when he told me that it was $200. To charge $200 for a private ride, which is outrageous for such a short trip. The lack of flexibility and transparency in their scheduling and pricing felt like an exploitative tactic rather than a customer-friendly service. The sales rep was insistent that if I wanted to choose my own time, I should opt for the private service. I understand companies need to balance logistics, but this level of inflexibility and price gouging is unacceptable. I will not be using their services again and cannot recommend them to others. I made alternate arrangements for a company to take me to the airport 2 1/2 to 3 hours before my flight , and they charged me $50, (for a private ride) which is not the end of the world, but it was frustrating that Royalton presented the resort offer to include transportation to and from the airport, but it was a gimmick . If you’re looking for reliable transportation without feeling pressured into unnecessary upgrades, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
