Lioc, Gerardo and team were skilled professionals that helped me advance my upwind abilities on well maintained gear in a flat water bay that may be one of the world’s best locations to learn.

This is one of the best place we have been to learn kitesurfing. You get it all: good wind, no waves, shallow water and very good and friendly instructors. We were getting to the kiteschool via Uber. The spot is one of the best we have ever been. Very few kites around. It gave us a sense of safety and freedom. My partner was guided by Loic who helped her build her skills to reliably ride in both directions and start to ride upwind. Gerardo helped me build my upwind riding skills and taught me transitions and some toe side riding. Both instructors were very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Slingshot equipment in good condition. Of all the places we have been, this is the one we would highly recommend, either as a beginner or and independent rider and one where we would likely come back.

Loic was my instructor and he was amazing. First time I was able to really ride. Also the condition in the Laguna are the best for learning. We had a boat with us and that also made everything super easy as the boat got me back the board if it was too far. I really really recommend the school and Loic!

The 2 classes I took where good. Kind and good instructors. But later I got to know that they are crocodiles on the lagoon! Making research I found they are about 1000 crocodiles on the Chacmochuk lagoon where you do the kitesurf.

Located in Isla Blanca—roughly 30 to 40 minutes north of Cancun—this spot is a paradise for those looking to fully immerse themselves in kiteboarding. The setup is designed for you to simply wait for the wind and ride. Be aware that amenities are minimal: there is a local restaurant and a small store nearby, but for everything else, you’ll need to head back into Cancun. However, the kiting conditions are unbeatable for learning or perfecting skills. You get shallow waters, vast open space, knowledgeable staff, and top-tier gear. They even provide a boat to ferry you upwind if you start drifting. It is truly one of the best spots on the planet to focus on your progression. One important tip: Check the exchange rate used for credit card charges. When I visited, the market rate was $17.50$ MXN to $1$ USD, but I was charged at a fixed rate of $18.50. This resulted in a difference of nearly $1,000$ MXN—the cost of several meals. I recommend asking in advance if they use the daily market rate or a fixed house rate.

This location is absolutely idyllic and an amazing spot to learn. The water is warm and the depth is consistent throughout the bay so you can easily get back up on the board quickly. Gerardo is an incredible instructor patient and very experienced, easily able to identify the small changes needed to be successful. I made so much progress at the school! Their equipment is top notch. This was my second trip getting lessons from Gerardo and I look forward to coming back!! In addition, I was staying down the road at the Riu with my family, which is walkable in about 30 minutes. They also arranged for a pickup for me in the morning outside the hotel which was very convenient and appreciated. The proximity to the Riu is excellent if you are looking for a place for your family to hang out while you have a chance to get away and learn kiteboarding or wing foil. Just go. You will love it! 😎

I decided to go kitesurfing at the beninning of the year. With O experience in water sports, it was very important to me to find a good schooI. I found kitesurf Mexico and decided to follow them on instagram for a while before making a decision. After a few days, I decided to book my 4 days lesson and buy my ticket to Cancun. Getting there, I was so kindly treated, Gianpaolo and his team made me feel comfortable from day one. It felt like I belonged there. My instructor was Adriano and I have no words to describe how wonderful, professional and friendly he was. After a few minutes being guided and instructed by him I knew I was safe. He explained all the important details, such as how to control a kite, safety gears and operations, then how tp get in the board and have fun. I am in love with this sport and I just can't wait to go back. The location in Isla Blanca is so unique, Calm waters with a beautiful blue water beach right across the lagoon. I mean, I have been back for a few days now and I am still amazed about my experience, location, professionalism and everything else. It was a blast, so if you want to go kitesurfing, don't think twice, Just go ahead and make your reservation with this school and I promise you will love EVERY MINUTE. thank you Gianpaolo and Adriano, you guys made my year!

I have travelled to many amazing kitesurf places in the world. This was, without a doubt, the most amazing location I have ever been to. Several things stood out for me. Firstly the communication with Gianpaolo from Kitesurf Mexico was fantastic - he tailored the whole experience to what I wanted and was always willing to discuss and adapt to our needs and always with a smile! Secondly the kitesurf equipment at the centre was top-notch - new, undamaged gear accompanied by jetskiis at all times to take us out and back and rescue us when needed. Thirdly, the instructors were terrific. Adrien in particular was one of the best instructors I have ever seen - enthusiastic, firm yet clear and supportive at all times. He enabled my son to get up on the board after only 3 days of lessons - something which took me months to do! Lastly and not least the location itself - the lagoon is terrific for both learners and advanced kiters. The wind (during the season) is very reliable and the location of the kitesurf centre means that you can kite no matter what the direction of the wind. The fact that it is a shallow lagoon also really helps, especially for learners. In short, if you're interested in kitesurfing (either as a new-comer or as an experienced kiter) you really can't go wrong with Kitesurf Mexico - great location, great equipment, great teachers and great overall support. Don't think twice about it - just go!

We signed up for a 9 hour lesson with Ananda and we had a great time with her! She’s patient and really stressed proper fundamentals. Wind surfing looks very graceful but the work to get there requires countless hours and Ananda’s attentiveness allowed us to finally strap on our board on the last day. We sure know we will need more time but we can’t wait to come back and go out with her again. Thank you Kitesurfing Mexico for giving us a memorable three days of fun!

Gianpaolo and his staff are the best! They are friendly, easy to work with and the instruction is excellent. This was our second trip and definitely plan to go again in the future!

Great kiting school! I had 5 lessons with them in December 2023. Nice people, good times and big improvement in my kiting skills. They use jetskis to bring students upwind which saves a lot of time and effort. It is 10 times easier to learn with jetski than without it. Instructors Ananda and Chris were both great. The road to their spot is a bit challenging when it rains, but it wasn't a big problem. I will go there again when I have a chance. Highly recommended!
