Private Jungle Adventure Tour: Zipline + Rappel + Cenote

Great guide, great experience for the whole family.

We did the private jungle adventure tour in April 2026. We were a party of 13, a mixture of adults and kids. While booking was a breeze, the transportation reliable, and tour guide knowledgeable, the tour left a very bitter taste in our mouths due to the tactics they used to try to get us to purchase a very expensive photo package (they wanted to charge us $270 for digitals!). It would have been okay if we knew about this in advance (we may have even purchased it), but they made sure to tell you to put all your stuff away so that you end up not having any cameras on you to take your own pictures. You want a memory of your adventures? You got to now pay up. Don't do what we did and comply. Bring your own waterproof camera and at least keep one with you. Then you don't have to feel like you wasted your time posing for pictures you'll never see again. What was also very annoying was that the photographer "paparazzi" was supposed to have met us at our first stop, the ruins. Since he failed to join us there, we did not get any "professional" pictures of that leg of the tour. I guess that was lucky for us because we actually do have pictures from that portion. Many of us were rappelling/zip lining/visiting a cenote for the first time, so we would have loved to have captured pictures of that, especially involving the brave little ones. They tried to make-up for the fact that the photographer did not take pictures of us at the ruins by incorporating random pictures of scenery that you could probably google and get better photos of. To top it all off, after 6 hours, our group wanted to go back and enjoy more beach time. Instead they held us for almost another hour so we could see their picture presentation, which we ended up not buying out of principle because we felt extorted. We did not want to reward the shady practice and neither should you. If you do book with them, make sure you bring your own camera just to capture your own memories in case you don't want to buy their very expensive photo package. We are still very upset and disappointed about our experience. I will not book with them again as a result.

Darla our guide and Carla our photographer were amazing! Darla was so good with my kids and so knowledgeable! She got my son to get over his fear and repelled down to the cenote with ease. The trip to the jungle was close to our resort which was awesome, I would definitely do this tour again and would recommend our crew to anyone!

Sea turtles, sting ray, ziplining, and rappelling into a beautiful cenote all in one day. One of the best excursions I’ve ever been on. Hamlet was an amazing guide and Jorge was an awesome driver.

Ruben was GREAT. So knowledgeable and made the day fun. Especially for my 13yo daughter. Pam was a great photographer and the photos are amazing. We also did a second tour with them the next day.

Oh, the rappeling and the underground cave Cenote snorkelinng were a total highlight!!! Fabulous! We LOVED it! It was a thrill.

Our guide Paola created a very personal and genuine connection with us, we had an amazing time exploring the cenotes and having lunch on our tour. The zipline was very fun as well! I highly recommend this activity to any water-lovers. You get quite a lot of time swimming in and enjoying the cenote

We had a great experience! The staff was timely in our pick up and then explained the day thoroughly during the drive. We loved getting to zip line, rappel, and snorkel in the cenote. Every activity was extremely fun but also well planned. We felt taken care of all day! You do have to pay for the photos but for us, it was great having someone document the day so we didn't have to worry about it. Overall, great experience and would highly recommend the group.

Wonderful trip with guide Eric, driver Miguel & photograper Steph. They put a lot of effort into making sure we were having fun, and especially Eric made sure everyone had a smile on their face at all time. 10/10 Day with humor and a good atmosphere.

We've booked with Ocean Tours previously and had a great experience (swimming with turtles in Akumal) so we had high expectations for this trip. We were not disappointed. There were only 5 people scheduled for our tour this morning but three didn't show up so it was just me and my mom on a private tour with our own personal photographer (the fantastic Guillermo) - what more could we ask for? Our guide, Alejandro, was funny, smart and full of interesting information, keeping us entertained the entire morning. Neither my mother or I were able to complete the ziplining portion or the rappelling (see below) but we had an amazing time swimming in the cenote. Because we didn't get to do the first two items on our itinerary, Alejandro offered to take us to a second cenote and spend some extra time there but we opted to stay in the first one and enjoyed the additional time. Thank you so much for a fantastic morning to kick off our latest Mexican adventure and the extra attention and service. PS: The potato empanadas were soooo delicious! NOTE: As a plus size gal, I did not fit into the one-size fits all harness for the ziplining or the rappelling but I was anticipating this and knew there was a weight limit when we booked.

Our tour guide Darely was amazing. We learned so much and she had so much knowledge to share with us about the cenote’s and Mexico in general. The cenotes were beautiful and the experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

This tour was amazing from start to finish. They picked us up right on time from our resort in playa del Carmen. The tour guide , Darely, introduced herself and our driver and explained that we would be picking up another couple in a different resort and our photographer, who would be our “paparazzi” for the day. After picking everyone up, we traveled the short distance to the park where we did zip lining, rappelling into the cenotes and then snorkeling. Darely did such a wonderful job explaining everything and making sure everyone was comfortable and safe. Her knowledge of the cenotes and the Yucatán peninsula itself was incredible. You can tell she loves what she does. The photographer, Teff, did such a great job taking amazing pictures every step of the way. They even gave us a delicious lunch of empanadas! We left this unforgettable experience with new knowledge and an appreciation of the Yucatan. We also left with so many professional quality photos, that was an unexpected surprise! They do charge a fee, but it’s totally worth it. This whole experience was well worth every penny. I will definitely be using ocean tours when we come back.

Carlos and the team we were with on 10-12-24 are amazing very kind and patient with the guests. we had amazing time with them we learned a-lot about the culture and got to compare just how different life can between all of us.. would highly recommend. they took the time to make sure everyone truly understood what we were doing before letting us do it. they helped build confidence in those who were unsure of what they were doing. at no point did anyone back out of an activity because of their comforting demeanor . the photographer took amazing pictures and made sure everyone looked good like rock stars. the provided lunch of tacos made most amazing way i have ever had a real immersive experience all around.

All three portions of the tour were brand new experiences! We had Diana as our tour guide who was knowledgeable and a delight to chat with. Rodrigo was our photographer and the photos came out amazing and are worth the buy as he shoots all the photos you will need of the experience, edits and shares them to you in a zip folder soon after the excursion. Our driver to and from our resort was David and he got us to the site quickly and safely. The experience also included a delicious lunch included in the price which has one of the best bites of food in the entire trip! 10/10

We stayed at the Tulum Hilton and this tour was very close to our hotel only 20 drive. It was very fun to do three different activities in one trip. Our guide was very enthusiastic and really brought lots of joy to the trip.

We had an amazing time on our tour! Victor, our guide, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and shared a lot of great history about the cenotes and Mexico! We felt very safe and cared for the entire time. Our driver Edgar was also great and pickup/dropoff was seamless. Highly recommend!
