The worse experience ever. No English. Fishing is really 20m form the boat. Super fake and not good. Don’t waste your money and time

Fishing was not the best this time of year but I had fun and caught some fish. Two Triggerfish and a snapper. The crew was good although the there seem to be some friction between the captain and one of the mates... but they got it sorted out. I have fished with them many times now and I will continue to do so

Was told to arrive at 745, they wouldn't hold reservation. Got there at 745, checked in, didn't get on boat until 9. Paid for extra hour, 1 fish

I had a very frustrating experience with this company and would strongly advise others to be cautious. What was supposed to be a smooth private charter turned into a series of ongoing issues. We were initially quoted $826 for the trip, but ended up being charged over $1,100. The $150 deposit we paid wasn’t applied to the final payment, and a questionable currency conversion was used to overcharge us by an additional $100. It took a lot of back-and-forth just to get a partial refund. The condition of the boat left much to be desired, and the service was poor. I had pre-ordered Pepsi and box lunches for our group, but the crew completely missed the lunch order. We were stuck on a 6-hour trip with no food, which was unacceptable. I also clearly communicated from the start that this was a corporate charter and needed to be paid via AMEX. I was told this would be fine—only to arrive at the marina and be informed they don’t accept AMEX. As for the “private charter” experience, it was underwhelming. Most of our group never even touched a fishing rod. We only got the chance to reel in if a fish was already on the line, which only happened three times over six hours for a group of six. Overall, this trip was a letdown both in terms of service and value. There are much better, more professional charter services out there—this isn’t one of them.

Highly suggest not using this company. They charge quite a bit more than the others which we assumed might mean they are better, WRONG! The captain hardly spoke to us. He didn’t know what he was doing. We fished 1 1/2 in one location and he would not move a caught 1 Barracuda. He finally moved again and another 1 1/2 hour to catch 1 Snapper! We caught 2 fish in perfect weather because the Captain was either Lazy or didn’t know what to do. He then said it was time to go. Didn’t say another water and speeded back to dock. Everything this company did was nickel and dime you and no results. All bad, the lack of fishing, the attitude and lack experience of the captain, to the people they recommended for us to eat, it wasn’t a piece of this trip that wasn’t bad. Do not use these people! And to top it off when we complained, the lady said you caught two fish that’s good enough!

There’s really no place to sit. They tried to upsell us to a bigger boat before we get on. They said they had a cancellation and the bigger boat would be better. We said no thank you we would be fine with the size boat we booked. then they gave us the bigger boat anyways. There was no other boat to get on. It was a scam.

Our first fishing trip was so fun we booked a second one! Hector and Caesar did a phenomenal job getting us on the fish! We caught some beautiful Mahi and a black fin tuna. Caesar made us fresh Mahi Mahi ceviche with our catch that was absolutely phenomenal! We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Every thing from the communication to book, the staff, and the boat were all top notch! 10/10 recommend.. we will definitely be back just to fish!

Made a wonderful birthday trip despite the weather not allowing us to go out into the ocean and staying in the lagoon side. We caught many good size barracuda and it was fun!

We did the four hour private fishing charter and couldn’t have had a better time! My husband is an avid fisherman and I’m more of a novice but we don’t live anywhere close to the ocean so this was a neat experience. Our captain Pedro and crew Antonio and Joaquin (sorry if I misspelled your names) were so friendly and very insightful. The ride out to the best fishing was about 40 minutes or so but then there were bites all the time! We ended up catching five barracudas with the biggest being 47 inches. Such great energy and company during the trip and even before arrival the communication was amazing with planning for the excursion. If I could rate it more than five stars I would. If we return with friends it is a must. Honestly if you are on the fence about booking, just do it. It is totally worth your time and the money.

Very professional and great for beginners and experienced deep sea fisherman. I took my wife and son whom never went before and they had a wonderful time and the captain and his crew were very accommodating.

Our Experience was great! Our trip started ON TIME which was great. The captain and the crew were very helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to catch a whole lot of fish which of course was the icing On the cake! Over all it was the best Cancun fishing trip I’ve ever had!

It was good, fun, the workers were funny and welcoming made good conversation. Good people. They offered us water and drinks to keep cool and helped when we needed.

The booking process was smooth thru WhatsApp. The captions were very knowledgeable and put us on a ton of fish. Super excited to make these memories wirh family snd will definately be back on "The Mamacita" again!!!

We had a great gishing trip. A long lastig wish of my son, and it was absolutely worth it. Making the arrangements was done quickly and everything exactly as we wanted it. The transportation was spot on, we even were informed of delayed arrival at the hotel pickup due to traffic. Super. Upon arrival we got on the boat, and the captain explained what was the plan. We headed out to sea, and after a 1hr boat trip, the fish were quickly found. The crew helped us as much as they could with reeling in and preparing the rods. We all catched several big ones! Absolutely a great experience!

Man, do the staff work hard! These boys were more than accomodating and made sure we caught as many fish as possible. They were either putting lines out or serving drinks non stop. Amazing work ethic and great value

Fishermen were awesome. Educational and fun, brought us to a few nice spots. Would do it again for sure, especially for the cost of doing something like this in Cancun. Transportation and everything is safe.

Fishing was good. Crew made sure we caught fish. One thing is that they should offer a way to cook and try some of the fish that you catch.

Caught 13 fish! The guys knew what they were doing and everyone was friendly and it was very well organized! They helped us arrange transportation to and from our hotel, would recommend!

The crew did not talk to us much on the boat and we didn't know much of what was going on since it was our first time deep sea fishing. Most of us did get seasick (which I know they have no control over) and the crew was kind for handing us water when needed. At the end we asked to take our some of the fish we caught with us, we got an uncomfortable look like they did not want to give us the fish. When asked which ones would be good they suggested the red snapper and mahi mahi which were good. However the rest of the fish they said were not good to eat, which one of those fish was around 35-40lbs. After talking/showing a picture of our catch to our hotel chef that prepared the fish we did bring back, he told us the other fish were very good fish to eat. We were kinda bummed to hear we didn't bring the largest fish due to the crew telling us it was not good to eat. The fish we did bring back was very good but the experience was overall not what we were expecting.

We were a party of 4 and everyone catched a fish 3 times. Great crew! They are truely professional! Very recomendable!

I had a wonderful time on the Aloha with Captain Antonio and the mate's name was Jesus. This is our second time going in the past 6 years and we have always caught fish with this crew. However it was my son's first time going out fishing in Cancun he's only eight and the trip gave him a love for fishing. I'm going to attach some of the pictures because I think the pictures tell it all. Thank you Antonio and Jesus for such a great experience. The Sanchez family.

Although the two men barely spoke any English they hustled to fi d the best areas for my boys. Don't expect any teaching however. They take you out for about 45 minutes and then find spots to bait. Kids had fun but it was quick.

Great experience for me and my boys. Ages 18 and 11. Captain worked hard to put us on fish. We caught several species. It was a great time!

Awesome trip! Took my 6 year old. She caught 24 bait fish and 3 barracudas. Two 3 footers! Staff was awesome. They made sure my daughter had a great time!

Enjoyed the trip with one exception. They spent 1/3 of our 2 hours fishing for the bait. That should have been done on their time not ours.
