Tulum, Coba, and Cenote Kuxlai were excellent places. Coba allowed us to walk the wood staircase placed on top of the stone pyramid for a fabulous view of the jungle. Playa de Carmen was a bathroom break, but if one is efficient, a shop, bar, or short walk can be done. The starting pickup van was late but did not communicate the new ETA 😰; the start is rocky because only some clients are prepaid. Guide Carlos worked with the group to make each stop meaningful for the individuals, and he really knew Tulum and Coba. This cenote is a swimming hole with fish (and bats?), very casual, laid back-- way down a dirt road. Those who didn't swim entertained themselves with a radio and cats. The food at a Mayan food stop was O.K., but the mocktails were glorious; even nonalcoholic drinks had to be paid for, although the food was included. The bus was beat-up and did NOT have a toliet. The tour staff offered cold water and bug spray for SALE. In retropect, one of us should have bought and shared it with everyone. They took us to where we wanted to go safely and within the allotted timeframe. I was very happy I went.

Reviews
The tour is excellent, and the guide was a very friendly person. The only thing is that they stopped at several hotels to pick people up, which took about three hours; while it’s not a problem in the morning, it gets a bit tiring by the afternoon.
The start to this tour was rough, took almost two hours to finally connect with the bus. Which actually would have been OK as I understand things happen, but the lack of proactive communication is what made us angry. We were the ones who had to keep following up and it just seemed to never be important to communicate with us. Once we finally got on the bus, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of good info about Mayan culture, but he most definitely needs to have a microphone or some type of amplification when speaking. He was literally yelling but we could still not hear him clearly whatsoever. We were in the back of the 22-seat bus (not a big bus) and it was still impossible to hear, it was both frustrating and irritating. The Tulum Ruins were great, but I think we could have used a little more time there. However, it was a very hot day so…. The Coba Ruins were interesting as well, and it was much cooler in the jungle. Upon arrival at the Cenote Kuxtai we received a group blessing from the local Shaman, a different and fun experience. Lunch was good, plenty of options. Staff was friendly. Water in the Cenote was not overly cold so it was a really nice swim. This place seemed more authentic than the one we had gone to the day prior. It was a long day, but overall the experience was fun, just wish it had a better start which is why I only gave it 4-stars, but we would definitely recommend.
The Ancient Mayan pyramids and the history. Beauty of the nature. Wonderful experience worth to see.
It was an a awesome experience. Definitely recommend it if you want to get a realistic experience of what Mexico culture is.
Guide très gentil, points d'intérêt respectés. Bus pas génial côté confort, buffet sans plus mais correct, le ramassage en retard de 35-45min, pas assez de temps à Playa del Carmen.
