Isla Mujeres Luxury Sailing: Adults Only Or Family Friendly

We had an amazing experience on the Catamaran Isla Mujeres tour! Everything was so well organized from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable!

Amazing experience and definitely worth it! The snorkeling, jumping off the boat, and exploring the island were all amazing. Cesar was our guide and he was the best!

Cesar and his team were amazing! Boat was immaculate and the team met all my expectations. Special shout out to my lifesaver Efran who literally swam with me the entire time while snorkeling! If you are looking for a great shorter excursion this one is it!

Great tour. Cesar the tour guide was very informative and attentive to all patrons. He gave my partner a special birthday shoutout as well as others on the boat you were celebrating a special occasion. He kept us informed with every step of the way. The other staff members were great as well. Pickup was prompt and on time! The food was delicious and plentiful! The drinks and music flowed smoothly. Overall it was a 10/10.

Stuff on the boat: great Island: mid. Overall had a good time, but time on the island was too much given that it's a big time tourist trap. However, our guide on the boat, Yair, was excellent

Great trip, the island is beautiful. Clear blue waters. Warm and made better by the weather being sooo good. Price included transport to and from hotel and the port fee. 2.5 hours is enough on the island if you don’t buy/ pay for any extra like beach club. Just take your own cans if you wanna enjoy some drinks on beach. I think most things are cheap and reasonable otherwise. Trip made better by host Helnan, he was superb. So polite and respectable, not pushy and have great advice. His crew and team were also brilliant. They honestly made this trip better and worthwhile. If you compare this overall trip to Dom Rep Saona island. It’s way over priced. I paid a lot for this trip, like double the saona price and I got a good buffet included in that. If I didn’t have Helnan for the trip I would be disappointed personally. Maybe prices are negotiable or cheaper elsewhere but I was restricted in my experience. I loved it. But the catamaran needs to be a lot longer. And make use of the free bar or it’s even more over priced but otherwise great trip to do.

The catamaran was nice, and the company was very well organized. Even the seating arrangements were thoughtfully grouped, which made everything feel organized and smooth. Our guide, Martin, was amazing and really made the experience enjoyable! The bento lunch was tasty, with a good variety of fresh fruit, pasta, and a burrito. The only suggestion I have is to provide some sauce with the burrito. They also offered a great selection of drinks, including juice, pop, and alcoholic beverages. The catamaran was clean and well-maintained, which was another plus. Unfortunately, I had to give this experience a lower rating because of an issue with the snorkeling activity. My mom was looking forward to snorkeling, but she was not allowed to participate due to an age restriction. This restriction was not clearly communicated in the fine print. The wording made it seem like participation might be possible depending on certain conditions, and the information provided focused more on reef access rather than a specific age limit. I also feel the company could have handled this better by asking about participants’ ages during the booking process or clearly communicating the restriction beforehand. No one verified or double-checked this with us before the tour, so we only found out when it was too late. Had we known in advance that my mom would not be allowed to snorkel, we honestly would not have booked this experience. Overall, the catamaran, food, cleanliness, organization, and our guide were great. However, the lack of clear communication about an important restriction was disappointing and significantly affected our experience. I hope the company improves its communication so future guests can make informed decisions before booking.

Amazing trip with an amazing crew. We arranged to have the shuttle bus pick us up from the hotel for an extra fee. It came out to $40 a person for doc fees and round trip transportation, concerting the distance, that's well worth it! The crew was professional and accommodating the entire way. They gave clear instructions and direction for every leg of the journey. The snorkeling area is a popular spot that all the adventure tour companies use. For safety reasons, boats aren't allowed in the boundaries of the snorkeling area. So you get dropped off and you have to swim across the area to where the boat drove around to pick you back up. That was tiring with the choppy seas, but still worth it! We will be booking with them again!

We had such a good experience on this boat ride! They give you time to snorkel and shop around on isla mujeres. For the price it was a good experience. The lunch they served wasn’t bad either!

We went out on the luxury sailing trip to Isla Mujeres yesterday and the whole experience was awesome. The staff were friendly, attentive, and really knowledgeable, and they gave us great tips for making the most of the island once we got there. Lunch was decent. It's not a five-star meal, but that's not what this trip is about, and it didn't take anything away from the day. The open bar, though? Two thumbs up. Drinks kept coming and the mood stayed great the whole way. Fun, relaxed, and well run from start to finish. We'll definitely be back for another one.

We traveled with three generations, ages 65 to 6 and everyone had a wonderful time. The wind was a little high so some of us skipped the snorkel but didn’t feel like we missed out. Take a Dramamine the night before and/or morning of if you get motion sickness and enjoy the ride!

The boat ride was nice but we specifically did this tour for the snorkeling. We were told the day of that all water activities were canceled due to weather. I feel we should have been given a discount or the option to cancel or change days.

I decided last minute to book a same day excursion through my hotel, and I’m so happy I did! Since I was traveling solo, I was a little nervous at first, but the entire experience was seamless from pickup to drop-off. The whole crew was absolutely awesome and made me feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the day! Our tour guide, Helaman, was amazing! I stayed close to him while snorkeling and he recommended the best beach to relax at during our drop-off after our swim stops. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my day off! I'm so glad I decided to book this excursion and spend the day with such an awesome crew. Highly recommend, even if you're traveling solo!

Very nice Catamaran & great crew. The food & drinks were very good also. Snorkeling is a swim from one location to another, not around the boat. If seas aren’t smooth you should be a good swimmer. Overall, great trip

Cesar was brilliant and the trip was amazing one of the best days out we had. The trip was fantastic.

My wife and I booked two excursions during our honeymoon in Cancun, expecting memorable experiences. Unfortunately, what we experienced instead was unsafe transportation, unprofessional driving, significant delays, and a disappointing response to our complaints. Excursion #1: While traveling in heavy rain, the windshield wipers on our vehicle stopped working. Rather than pulling over and addressing the issue, the driver continued driving in the rain without functioning windshield wipers. This was an incredibly dangerous decision that put passengers at unnecessary risk. Excursion #2: Our transportation broke down on the way to the port, causing delays that made the entire excursion feel rushed and disorganized. As if that wasn’t frustrating enough, our driver was TEXTING WHILE DRIVING and playing inappropriate music. After the safety concerns we had already experienced on our first excursion, this was completely unacceptable. Let me be clear: Our issue is NOT with the excursion crews. The crews themselves worked hard, provided good service, and were tipped generously by us. Our issue is with the transportation, lack of professionalism, and the apparent disregard for passenger safety. After reporting these incidents, we were initially offered just $100 in compensation for two excursions. Following further discussions, Amstar increased the total proposed refund to $230. While I acknowledge the additional offer, I still find the overall resolution disappointing given the multiple safety issues we encountered. What bothers me most is that these weren’t simply minor inconveniences. Driving without windshield wipers in the rain and texting behind the wheel are serious safety issues that could have resulted in an accident. We spent our hard-earned money on these excursions as part of our honeymoon. Instead of being able to relax and enjoy ourselves, we were left feeling unsafe, frustrated, and disappointed. To anyone considering booking with Cancun Adventures: Please take passenger safety seriously when choosing your excursion provider. A beautiful destination and enjoyable activities do not excuse unsafe transportation practices. I sincerely hope management uses this feedback to improve driver accountability, vehicle maintenance, and passenger safety rather than simply treating these incidents as customer-service complaints. One star. I would not book with this company again based on our experience.

The actual excursion was fantastic. The check-in process was extremely smooth, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They also had very good English. The boat was super clean and it was a very smooth ride. I often get motion sickness, but I had no problems at all. The drinks were always flowing and they really tried their best to make sure that we had everything we needed. Lunch was provided. It is basically a bento box with a chicken wrap, a pasta salad, fruit, guacamole and chips. My kids didn’t care for it all so much but my husband and I enjoyed the meal. Snorkeling was fantastic. Our guide was really cool and wanted to make sure that we had a safe but really fun time he would always point out anything cool that he saw we saw so many fish, lobster, turtles and more. We really appreciated that they had high-quality goggles that didn’t fall up! One other cool thing is that they have a photographer on boat board who took a ton of underwater photos of us while we were snorkeling. She also took photos of us on the boat and these photos were available to purchase at the end of our excursion.  Our time at the island was great but extremely chaotic. That’s just the nature of the island though. You get dropped off on a dock and you are lead into a shop that then leads out into the street.  The second you step foot on the street, vendors are trying to get your attention. We knew we wanted a golf cart to get around town and the first two vendors we spoke to gave us such high rates and they wouldn’t budge. Finally, the third vendor worked with us and we were able to get him down to a price. We were more comfortable with. We ended up getting a gas powered four seater golf cart $70 for two hours. Please don’t accept the first amount that is thrown out at you or you will be overcharged. A golf cart was a great way to get around the Island. There are so many shops with great stuff and there’s also a lot of restaurants. You can also find several street vendors selling cold drinks. The island is beautiful and so colorful. The beach there is absolutely perfect. Beautiful white sand and turquoise clear water.  Now, the reason I took off one star was due to the transportation. If you book through Viator, transportation is not included. So unfortunately, we paid $60 to take a taxi from our hotel which was 45 minutes away to the marina. It was frustrating because we arrived alongside many hotel shuttle vans. After chatting with the other others on our Excursion, they all booked through different companies, other than Viator. So, transportation was provided for them. If your hotel is not far away from the marina, this may not be a problem for you.

If I could give no stars I would, tour company very unprofessional and did not give us time to make a plan for excursion. It was pouring rain and they would not confirm whether the excursion was cancelled or not. Having to dispute charge on my credit card. Rain was extremely bad and not safe to go out.

We had an amazing time on our Isla Mujeres tour today! Our guide, Judith, was absolutely fantastic! She was full of energy, incredibly friendly, and made sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions. There were around 30 people on the boat, and the crew kept the drinks flowing with unlimited beverages, including alcoholic drinks, throughout the trip. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go snorkeling due to the weather, but Judith made up for it with her enthusiasm and hospitality. Once we arrived on the island, she generously shared plenty of helpful information and recommendations, making sure we could make the most of our visit. What could have been a disappointing day because of the weather turned into a wonderful and memorable experience thanks to Judith and the crew. I would absolutely recommend this tour to friends and family. Thank you, Judith, for making our day so special!

Judith was the best! Drinks were great and the island was a perfect resort get away. We rented golf carts and explored, enjoyed drinks at the black pearl, and spent time on the beach. Definitely recommend !
