Great staff. Very helpful and gracious. However, you are forced to wear a life jacket. Real snorkeling does NOT include trying to maneuver a bulky vest. If you want to simply float on a vest and be told every move to make....then this is for you. If you want to SNORKEL.....not a good choice at all.

The albatross agents up sales the experience but everyone received the same experience at the base price. They claimed there was an air-conditioned cabin aboard the vessel with the upgrade but there wasn't any... we found out once the vessel left the dock... this a scam... do not upgrade the service.
We were advised by the captain of the boat that there is a federal regulation against people, snorkeling if they are younger than 10 years old or older than 60 years old. Ourselves included, there were several groups on the boat that just did not know about this up until the point when it was time for everybody to start snorkeling. This wasn’t the snorkeling company’s fault, I don’t think. Viator just didn’t mention it at any point in the booking process. Also, you have to bring your own towels. If you don’t bring your own towels, they are happy to sell you towels for $30-$40 apiece. When we went to the island, we were among five or six other boats that were there. Not a huge deal, the facilities did not seem overwhelmed. However, the dock clearly was. They did not have a system for figuring out how to get boats loaded and unloaded when only three boats could be docked at a time when there were six boats worth of people ready to go and come. No exaggeration, we watched this process take place for about 25 to 30 minutes before we were able to get back on our boat in order to leave. Not a great feeling when you’ve spent six hours in the sun with kids, especially after dealing with all of the other disorganizations/miscommunications that arose. In general, the captain and the crew were pretty good. They definitely kept us lightened up with drinks.
The crew were very freindly and kept up the supply of drinks. The food was good. All in all a great experience.
This catamaran was so much fun! Highly recommend. So many alcoholic beverages and so many pitchers of beer going around the entire time. Good music! Snorkeling was mid & didn’t see too much but the tour around Isla Mujeres was so nice. I will say didn’t enjoy getting bombarded by so many islanders trying to sell you so many things, I understand this how they make a living but very unnecessarily aggressive. Buffet style food was included and it was delicious!
what a fun time with my family!! :))) definitely recommend!!! i think they made my trip to cancun more pleasant and more smooth!
I wouldn’t recommend this excursion to anyone. We were a large group of 24 and we sailed on Antonio. I’ve been on several boat excursion and this was the worst by far. The music was not catering to the audience so our ride was boring! The entire experience was a sales promotion. They tried to upsell our Beach Club experience. Then they sold us pictures and golf carts on the boat. The golf cart ride was supposed to be a tour but we only made one ten minute stop and the returned back the club. Where we were told to go to the beach while we wait for the boat to return. It was an hour of just waiting and sitting in the hot sun. When we finally got over to Negra Pearla (Isla Mujeres) we were told we only had 40 minutes to return to the boat. I was extremely disappointed and somewhat annoyed.
I would not make a bad judgment on the people but rather TripAdvisor made false advertisement. You are way better served to go to the docks and get a ferry to the island and swim on north or south beach. There was no snorkeling, the small car to visit the island was not included, no difference if you have done it yourselves for 20$ (Ferry ride and around 20$ more for good food) instead of 85$ of below mediocre experience. I had better lunch in isle mujeres in small restaurant than the buffet it was provided. Again nothing against hard working folks but this is a scam from agencies.
Aside from the 10 fun college folks, #1 the allotment of only 20 min. to snorkle ( big part of trip " NOT") & being sheep-herded close to 9 other 10- plus each groups like cattle AND then upon making a stop.........,#2 a crew member directed me to some golf carts & people on the carts which were there for some other group of snorklers..... #3 which took me to a wrong restaurant who wanted to charge me 69.00 For lunch; thank goodness I drove the cart away & found a member of the same catamaran company who took me under his wing & to the right place for lunch where #4 I waited for 1 1/2 hrs alone until my group later arrived. Too big a part of my paid-for excursion was filled with frustration, stress & UPSET! Some refund is due & fairly in order here!!!!! I am looking forward to reviewing Viator's activity on social media because of all of the above. Francine Routhier
Hi, I paid a tour to Isla mujeres with pick up and drop off included from my hotel. Lunch buffet and alcohol beverage where included supposedly. When we get at the port, they told us the only were included alcohol beverages on board but no at the buffet. So we asked and they upgrade us for 9$ dollars each. We did 2 upgraded, we were 3 people but my dad is diabetic so he doesn't drink. At the island when it was lunch time, it was only water available, they wouldn't sell us a soda. They request $25 extras in order to get a diet soda for my dad. I tried to get a soda from my "all inclusive" bar acces and they scream at me that I couldn't share and he needed to pay the $25 dollars. That he only could get water. So after paying almost $400 for the 3 of us, he wasn't entitled to a miserable soda. Unbelievable. Beside that, they cancel the snorkeling activity due "inclement weather" but other boat with tours when to do it anyways because was sunny and beautiful (not rain at all). Also, they drop you on a part of the island the has the worst beach, they charge you another 40$ to get into a golf cart to get to the best beach which is playa Norte. Really uncomfortable experience. I do speak Spanish so it wasn't an misunderstanding. It was just them trying to get advantage of tourist like every place but I least they should provide what they offer.
Amazing staff. Everything was excellent! I had a really great time. The staff was very attentive. Great personalities on the Antonio Boat!!
The crew was fantastic, the food and drinks were great. The music on the boat and at the beach was way too loud for our family. The golf cart tour was fun. Our 3 hours at the beach club ended up being 5 and we thought we had somehow missed the boat. That delay shortened our time visiting/shopping downtown and the snorkeling was very rushed. Our hotel transfer was fantastic … they were still waiting for us even though the boat got us back an hour late!
My second activity with these guys and did not disappoint. Right on time for pickup, the boat was in perfect shape, and the crew was AMAZING!! Always looking after you. Snorkel was great, lunch was good, even though I would prefer more options it was a good lunch. Smooth ride back to the hotel, would do it again.
We had a good time on this sailing experience. Got to snorkel for a bit, had an okay buffet ince we got to the island and got to explore the city a little bit too and check out the local markets
Swimming in the warm waters snorkeling made the trip worthy. The water of the sea is memorizing. Our guide Leonardo from the Luv Cat catamaran was fun and very friendly.
It was great I just wouldn't recommend going out the night before I was hung over. But grace is amazing and the whole ride is amazing! More then I expected! Buffet wasn't the best tho.
The crew did a great job explaining and helping us all. We did the upgrade once we got there to lower the amount of people on our boat and it was the right move! The water was a little choppy for snorkeling but still a fun experience. We loved the private beach club and the lunch was awesome.
We went by bus to a pier that offered Isla Mujeres, we were offered x $50 x person round trip by ferry, transfer to restaurant: there was no guide, the same one who boards you to the ferry, Isla Mujeres gets you in the taxi and sends you to a restaurant where you are served a very poor meal...rice, noodles without flavor and fish or chicken without flavor....and then peeps...I suppose the owner of the restaurant offering you forcibly to buy the drinks....the only good thing the tortillas......then they take you to north beach and give you the boosts for the Snorkel....x 10 minutes, then they remove x that tell you q is borrowed....fatal....and there they leave you with the tickets to return your own account....cost...FATAL experience....
