We recently did a full-day private tour to Bacalar, Fort Felipe, and Cenote Azul in Quintana Roo, Mexico, and it was one of the best excursions we’ve ever had.From the very beginning, the service was outstanding. Our guide Oskar was exceptional – knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about the history and natural beauty of the region. He explained everything in perfect English, shared interesting stories about the Mayan culture, the pirates who once occupied the area, and the unique ecosystem of the Lagoon of Seven Colors. He answered all our questions with patience and made the whole day feel personal and special.Our driver Manuel was also fantastic – safe, punctual, and always smiling. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Itinerary
This magical journey starts at the incredible "Cenote Azul". This kind of natural sinkholes has a lot of mythical stories. Enjoy and relax in this crystal clear water, surrounded by nature, peace and many spectacular views. After that amazing and relaxing adventure you will taste a delicious breakfast with one of the special dishes that will be prepared for you.
The enigmatic site of Beachclub MarMol is a magic place where you will fall in love with the colorful lagoon. Bacalar has many shades of blue in each corner and you will have the opportunity to take a lot of photos. Kayak Activity for 1 hour is included.
This will be the perfect moment to know about the next stop "San Felipe's Fort". This incredible fort was intended to protect the inhabitants of Bacalar from the different pirate attacks. You will be informed by an expert guide of the Bacalar history and see the contrast between the colonial buildings and lush nature. Panoramic visit only.
Finally, you will have a delicious lunch choosing one of tasty dishes., where you can enjoy with an incredible atmosphere, after that you will take a picture at Bacalar's Letters to remember this magic adventure.

Great experience. We didn’t have enough time to spend a couple of days there, so this tour was enough to get to know Bacalar in a fair amount of time. Maui and Angel were our tour guides and both were, transparent, great and organized. Everything was on time and the food was also good. The only thing about this tour is that it didn’t come with the boat ride around the lagoon so we had the option to stay at the beach club (which was cute but small) or pay an extra 250 pesos/person (which isn’t a bad price). We chose to pay and had a great time. If you’re looking for the ride around the lagoon then I would recommend maybe booking that tour instead.
I wouldn’t take this tour again. I would definitely just go to BACALAR on my own to spend time where I wanted. It is convenient to be taken to each place however other than that we didn’t get much from our tour guide. We also did not go to the fort at all. It was completely skipped.
The trip was awesome. Arturo was fabulous. He spoke 3 different languages for all on the bus. The food was incredible. I absolutely recommend this excursion. We also were giving bathroom breaks on the way. Very helpful.Yes it's a drive however you get to see the most amazing views once you arrive you'll quickly forget that you were on a van at all. Thanks for everything Arturo.

They cancelled our bus and smushed us into the back of another tour. The driver didn't speak English, but was still a great guy/driver and got us to destinations in record time so we got back not too late. Had a good time overall and some better food then other tours.

7 color lagoon was beautiful! Never seen anything so blue. Only thing it was 3 hrs long just to get there, but worth it!
La laguna espectacular y los guías turísticos muy profesionales; sin embargo el autobús es toda una pesadilla. Nuestro viaje fue de 6 horas de ida y 7 horas de vuelta. Fuimos los primeros en abordar y los últimos en llegar de regreso. Para un viaje tan largo los autobuses deben de estar cómodos. El autobús “ de lujo” es todo menos lujo, no hay espacio entre asiento y asiento, una persona alta como lo es esposo literalmente no cabe en ese espacio. Una persona con dolores de espalda sufrirá también por el espacio tan reducido. Es muy injusto que promociones el transporte como lujoso cuando no lo es en absoluto. Es tolerable para viajes de 1 on2 horas máximo, no para viajes largos.
Magnífica experiencia. Nuestro guía fue Frank y fue muy atento y preocupado de todas nuestras necesidades. Un poco lejos si sales de Cancún o Playa del Carmen, pero vale la pena el viaje. Paisajes que enamoran.
