Loved the club! So lively! I was attended by Andy. He was courteous and explained what to expect very well! Would definitely recommend the experience!

Had a fab night, we were in the gold ticket area included drinks and a snack . We tipped our waiter 100 pesos and he kept us well supplied with drink, and another 100 half-way through we were well looked after.. The little retail units across the road from bongos are a con though, keep your sense of currency with them or they will charge you a fortune ..or just dont go to them !! Go elsewhere!
Good experience nice atmosphere fun night entertainment was good very busy which made more fun
fantastic experience well worth the admission fee, serving staff were great with the drinks and food, a must if in cancun for a night out. The show was fantastic I would definitely go again if in Mexico.
Sorry to say just a gloryfied expensive night club and once inside pushed around like cattle, but to be fair some shows were good but absolutely definately not value for money, if you do decide to go get cheapest tickets because after paying top dollar there seemed no differance, another bucket list done but sorry to say never again even if tickets were half price..
Brilliant show and very entertaining. We even had our picture taken with the Mask! Would highly recommend.
I went with my wife and two kids aged 17 and 19 and we an incredible experience. It’s a real pain getting in with all the security checks but once we got through all of that, we loved every minute of it. We had regular tickets which were on the main dance floor and we all agreed these were the best seats in the house (even if we didn’t have an actual seat!). It’s a crazy night full of drinking and dancing and as long as you don’t mind the chaos and occasional bumping into someone, you will have a unique amazing time. Arrived at 8.30 and left at about 1.45am. We booked through our hotel which was the best way, as it was all organised very well. Paid $75 per person, so excellent value.
perfecto ,i loved!!!!🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
Honestly the show was excited/fun, but let me tell you when you are bumping shoulders with everyone in there it gets annoying and frustrating and on top of that the staff there are very pushy and rude about not buying reserved table and drinks for over 350$! Not worth it at imo i should’ve saved my money
Went for sister’s bachelorette. Super fun and our group wanted for nothing.
A fun night out. The gold package is a must the drinks just keep coming and coming. A great show a definitely with a visit
Line is long. Had to wait over 30 min to stay 10 min Overbooked show, very hot, staff at bar mean...
I enjoyed it Chaotic getting in Seated at top row 2 which is a shame as you can't easily look down But entertainment was class, service was good, drinks regularly and foot towards the end. We did the family event which was a good laugh and age appropriate I imaging a 5 hour bender during the adult only would be carnage!! As far as a show went highly recommend.
In the club they invite young women up to dance and then blow up their skirts with air jets and project it onto a big screen in front of the whole club. Absolutely disgusting and disrespectful towards women, would not recommend.
AVOID!!!!! Or at the very least make absolutely certain you quadruple check your booking on every single page... googled "coco bongo punta cana... selected the recommended website, booked 2 tickets at 250$, but the checkout page reverted to cancun. 250$ lost. When I discovered the suspicious error and booked new tickets assuming coco bongo would make it right, they told me to pound sand because I booked new tickets attempting to make sure I was covered. They will not help you, customer service is and endless loop, and it will steer you to booking tickets in the wrong country, if you do, you are completely out of luck and you lost your money. PLEASE be cautious!!!!!!
I paid for the gold member ticket so NOT worth it. Had a crappy seat behind a pillar where we missed 75% of the show. You're also isolated in rows so if the people to the left or right aren't into the show/music its just meh. Would I do it again? Absolutely not. Some poor suckers paid $300 extra to sit right beiind the pillar, there view was bad downstairs.. Don't upgrade since the place is already full you'll just get ripped off and have a worst view. We walked downstairs once the dancing was supposed to begin but people were just crammed together there was no space. If they come around offering shots just pass the price isnt as advertised. The music was good and loud. Not the place to meet new people, you're crammed like sardines. Maybe if we had shown up 1 hr before the show, just to stand in line in the heat, we might have gotten better seats? We were 30min early and the heat was horrible.
Met a guy at Aloft who directed me to the Coco Bongo for a ticket. The outside vibes are wow 👌
If you’re thinking of attending Coco Bongo in Cancun, please please read this review first. All I can say is absolutely dreadful. Unless you’re booking gold VIP tickets do not bother. Queues were massive, staff were advising contradicting start times to what was on the tickets. They allow way way too many people in, people were passing out due to the heat and throwing up. Security was physically shoving people out of the way, physical fights were breaking out. The most dreadful experience I have ever been on, such a waste of money. TUI were awful in dealing with my complaint regarding this I would strongly advise against booking this experience.
I booked the tickets via Viator. However, upon arrival at Coco Bongo the ticket office said that they had not received any information about the booking from Viator/local operator. I contacted the Viator agent (Bernadette, who was super polite and helpful) but she couldn’t get through to the local operator. The coco bongo team also tried to contact the local operator without success. Finally after an hour of waiting the Coco Bongo manager took pity on us and let us in but the stress and anxiety caused was awful and ruined the occasion. I would recommend that people book directly on the Coco Bongo website rather than relying upon 3rd party sellers like Viator and their unreliable 4th party local operators.
Bought our tickets from a local independent travel firm…. Arrived on time as is 1st come 1st served for the table seats we’d booked (which is actually a bench) when they realised we’d not bought them directly we were initially sent upstairs to the mall, then having realised that wasn’t right was bounced from queue to queue so in the end we were at the back of a 200 person queue. I said to the family they were taking the Mickey which must have been heard as started to notice the staff sniggering and I ended up with a red spray paint mark to the rear of my white shirt!!! After numerous searches we eventually got to the seating area which was full by then and ended up in the gods with no air and a crap view. The food was average and we weren’t the only ones to get food poisoning that night!!! It dawned on us if there was a fire/emergency that not everyone would get out as they pack so many people in! The acts themselves were very good but most of the night is spent watching music videos in between and whichever lady the camera man takes a fancy to! We left at 12:30 to be met by numerous drug dealers outside some wearing coco bongo official seller shirts….(which granted may be fakes) but even still after numerous searches on the way In they shouldn’t let this happen at the exit!! All in all felt disrespected and treated like cattle all night and tbh the entertainment in your hotel is a lot better and free!!! I’d strongly recommend you avoid this place!!
What an experience, from our transport there, we booked gold member front row and was worth every penny, the staff couldn’t do enough for you and our server was constantly bringing us drinks, they came round 3 times with food, the show itself was amazing and would 100% go again, at the end of the night our transport was there waiting for us all organised though coco bongo, would definitely recommend
Horrible venue that pales in comparison to the show in Playa Del Carmen. This place is an absolute zoo. There is literally nowhere for people to stand.and you are constantly getting pushed around from one sapot to another by the incredibly rude and inconsiderate show staff. When it comes to the actual show performances, they are few and far between. Prepare to spend to spend well over three-quarters of the show watching video clips of random artists onscreen and guests in the stands dancing on screen. As for the drinks prepare to wait in long lines at the bar and SERVE YOURSELF. If you ever bring up the issue to one of the members of the wait staff, the first thing you can expect is a question asking you if you have a table. If you didn't feel like forking over an additional $100 for a table when purchasing the so-called regular, unlimited drink ticket, prepare to be upsold on additional services once you are already inside the club. Don't expect the staff to pay any attention to you if you decline their greedy offer... Don't say I didn't warn you. Save yourself the trouble and literally do anything else in town besides going to Coco Bongo in Cancun.
Made wait for 2 hours only to be told my ticket wasn't valid , a total waste of £136will never book anything with trip advisor again How do I get my money back
Awful experience left early. Made to wait outside for an hour and a half before even entering. Constantly pestered for upgrades and table - treat like rubbish.
This ticket is extremely misleading - DO NOT BOOK! The ticket advertises "Skip the line" which is absolutely not accurate. Even with the ticket you still have to wait in the extremely long "regular" line for 1.5 hrs or pay $25 at the door to skip the line. The open bar is accurate, but the skip the line portion is misleading which is the whole reason we bought this ticket. We have spoken to multiple people on the phone who refuse to refund us even though their product is false.
When I arrived at the doors staff said my Tickets were invalid and denied me entry. I showed my receipt and proof of the transaction but they still claimed my tickets were invalid. Poorly ran place just trying to make money off the young.
do NOT BOOK HERE. They are liars and do not have tickets. Book direct with the venue. These people are theives.
What an amazing night out. I do not go clubbing but I would go back here again and again. The show was brilliant. If you want an amazing night out go here.
Loved the experience it was AMAZING!! I highly recommend going here especially for your birthday, I had a blast for mines
Great experience to see the show and included drinks. I would suggest to get a table or seat. Even with VIP access you don't get a table but you can purchase for $ 120 or $80
crowd was too much, but shows are excellant!
BE CAREFUL - purchasing a ticket is 3rd world scamming. 100’s of staff trying to sell. You can get taken around corners to pay. They take photos of your driving license - it’s a fun time inside but it is part of organised crime so be very wary.
We had so much fun and we're treated so well! Were British so a bit of a vulture shock but fun!! And Luis kept the drink flowing and always made sure we had a lager x
Amazing place! Great performances and extra ordinary service by staffs, especially bartender Caleb who was very friendly, excellent at what he does and professional
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you want your night to be truly magical, unforgettable, and beyond extraordinary, Mafer Muniz Gomez is the person to make it happen! From the moment we connected, Mafer went above and beyond to create an experience that we’ll remember forever. Her energy, professionalism, and attention to detail turned our anniversary into a night that was absolutely phenomenal. Every moment was filled with fun, surprises, and pure joy. We felt extraordinary, like VIPs in every sense of the word. A huge shoutout to Luis, the waiter, as well — his care and attention made everything seamless and special. Coco Bongo Cancun is already incredible, but Mafer’s service elevates it to a whole new level. We can’t recommend her enough — anyone looking for mind-blowing, personalized, and unforgettable service needs to connect with her! Thank you, Mafer, for making our anniversary beyond our wildest dreams. We’ll never forget it, and we cannot wait to see you again! ✨🤩💫
Off the chart!!! Best party I've ever experienced. I've never been to a party that captured my attention as much as this one.
Terribly bad for hypersensitive people to noise, crowds and general anxiety in places, appeared oversold. Came and left in like 20 minutes. Did not know where to stand, it was a struggle to exit as the exit was blocked by a wall of people and there were tables everywhere. Upselling to us as soon as we got in (only 120usd for a table wow, we had already payed 110 usd just for entrance). Save your money really.
We arrived at 9 and were made to stand outside for an hour where I was inappropriately touched by staff. Being that we were in a country who already treated us poorly but we were already at the location and unable to leave due to the tour, he made sure I was ALWAYS within his bubble so no one could touch me again. We were charged $160 per couple for regular tickets but advised in order to have a seat for the 4 hour show, we would have to pay an additional $65pp. After doing so, we were offered cold hot dogs, hamburgers, and gasoline for drinks. When asked for Patron or Don Julio, were advised it was a $65 pp charge for the premium liquor package and we were not allowed to purchase drinks individually. The performance lasted about an hour with the rest of the 3 hours spent highlighting party goers instead of what we paid to see. They also try to force you to take pictures with some of the talent and want to charge you $100 for them whether you request them or not. We also noticed that if you do not buy a seat, they have staff to come around and force you to stand up. Be forewarned, the show is nice, but no where near worth the USD they are charging. If you MUST book, do it through this site or their direct site and NEVER UPGRADE AT THE LOCATION!
The show is very cool and has lots of variety. It’s extremely hot inside so if you’re sensitive to heat or don’t like being bumped into, this is not for you. They use high pressure sales tactics for the tables & bottle service. Be stern if you’re not interested in that. It is one hell of a party! If you want to rage, definitely check it out!
Do NOT buy tickets off of here. We waited around for 2 hours, missed the start of the show.. they wanted us to pay more but I stood my ground. They said these tickets were REGULAR tickets even tho this app said they were VIP skip the line, so basically a SCAM.
The basic tier may have disadvantages. Very crowded on the floor, no bottle services , no food and no seating.
⸻ . I got three free shots, they brought me on stage for my birthday, I danced with some of the performers—it was definitely a vibe. I was genuinely having a great time. But as soon as the show ended, the energy shifted—and not in a good way. I have a medical condition (motion sickness), and after just a few drinks, I started feeling extremely off. I’ve been in Cancun for six days, went out every night, drank way more on other nights, and never had a problem. This night was different. I started vomiting and fell—multiple times. To be fair, staff helped me the first 3 or 4 times I fell, but no one ever asked if I was okay or had a medical condition. They just assumed I was drunk and wanted me out of the way. I’m a heavier person, and the outdoor floor was wet and slippery, so even when they tried to pick me up, I’d fall again. They eventually just stopped helping me altogether. No one offered medical help, no one offered to call an ambulance, no one called police or asked if I needed anything. I later found out I had a broken wrist—but in the moment, I didn’t know. And the way they kept pulling me up probably made it worse. What makes it even worse is that I later realized I was missing both of my debit cards, my second phone, my passport card, and my driver’s license—all of which were in my bag. One of the cards was even attempted to be used. Nothing about it made sense. I went back to Coco Bongo hours later, completely sober, still slipping on the floor. And what really stuck with me? One of the employees literally walked past me while I was covered in vomit, looked at me with his shirt pulled over his nose, and didn’t say a word. Not “are you okay,” not “do you need help”—just walked away like I was a problem, not a person. The most consistent part of Coco Bongo’s reviews—if you look anywhere online or on YouTube—is that security is rude and unhelpful. That’s not a one-time thing. That’s a pattern. Yeah, the show’s funny and wild and entertaining. But if something happens to you? They will not help you. So: I had fun. I’m grateful for the free shots and the birthday stage moment. But there’s no excuse for the level of neglect I experienced once I needed actual help. If you go, be careful. Watch your drinks. Stay with friends. Don’t expect security to protect you—because if something goes wrong, you’ll be on your own
The show itself was great but there were a lot more breaks than last time, there seemed to be a performance followed by 20-30 minutes of just the crowd getting up and dancing to fill time. The show was still good and we had a great night, I would recommend booking direct through coco bongo and paying a bit extra for front row seats - definitely worth it.
BOOK VIP. The show was amazing but the line was incredibly long. After standing in line for hours you have to stand for the rest of the show which is another 4 hours of standing. I was at the front of the line because I accidentally came hours early. I didn't know the show starts at 11pm so I came at 8pm thinking the doors would open by 9pm. BUT the front of the line doesn't matter because all the VIP people get in first and crowd the place up. I couldn't finish the show because I was tired of standing. If I knew this ahead of time, I definitely would have booked the seats. It's only worth it if you have seats.
I and my wife had A long drive from PDC TO CAN. Cocobongo Just to go waste my time and to find ourselves in a crowded place with nowhere to even stand people trying to steal my phone and my wallet and throwing up next to us. My wife ended up with alcohol poisoning and she only had 3 drinks. So I do not recommend going to dump your time and your money to cocobongo is terrible.
This was an awesome experience! Highly recommend you do this in Cancun. Get the VIP, its worth the ability to get in early and the different entrance line. They will try to get you to upgrade to a table with bottles, but the show is very enjoyable from the top VIP area. I recommend you stay up there. Waiter comes to your seats and food is included during the show. Amazing performances! A MUST DO!
So much fun any day of the week!!! My friends and I went on a Monday and it was crowded and full of dancing. The show was incredible, with real people flying in the air (careful, you may have to duck so they don’t hit you). Music was really good and diversified. You can meet tons of people there, whether it is tourists from everywhere or Cancun locals.
Coco Bongo Cancun is a must visit. Music and entertainment were really fun. We didnt get a table and just hang out and drank in the dance floor. You could get a table for a price if you want to sit and watch people while having fun. Def recommended!
What can I say other than this place is fantastic! My husband and I are in our 40's and our clubbing days are well behind us but a few friends encouraged us to go and I'm so glad we did. We book the front row top rated ticket which got us seating in the front row areas, inclusive drinks, no queuing and escorted to the seats with table service. It was well worth the money to have such a good view of the show and such great service. The food isn't great so be sure to eat before you arrive! All in all this was a super night and one we will remember for a long time. Enjoy yourselves if you go, it's a brilliant time. Thanks to all the staff and entertainers. You all work very hard
Most of the show is very good. Take away the unnecessary gyrating on anything that either moves or doesn't would be an improvement. Paying extra to save queuing to get in just means you queue elsewhere. The drinks are poor quality and not enough - two all night. On a serious note, I didn't feel safe not knowing where the exits were in the dark. I was glad to be out.
