Clearboat: Glass-bottom Boat Ride To The Caribean Sea

We had a fantastic experience! Juan, our guide, was very funny and knowledgeable. The check in was seamless. We saw lots of fish and a very big turtle. This tour was money well spent. We highly recommend it!

Allan was helpful recommended clear boat tour , my 3 year old enjoyed watching stingrays , turtles and fishes at the bottom of the boat .I highly recommend Allan to plan the tours .

Would have liked more turtle and fish instead we got a photo shoot for everyone in the boat. Not that we didn’t see turtles and fish but there was more time spent on taking pictures of the guests on the boat than there was looking for turtles.

BEWARE of incorrect posting. This is a third party travel agency. The agency that does the tour is not who does the post. The post says departs from Isla Mujeres, that is not true. When we received our voucher it was for a different location. When we arrive to the meeting point , the agency who does the tour said they didn’t have us booked. At the end of it all after some back and forth the actual people who do the tour were able to help us. The travel agency for this post was not helpful at all. We had meshes them the day before asking some questions and never heard from them. You are better off booking with the people who do the clear boat tour directly!

We anticipated to see more of coral reefs & some more wildlife of the ocean. The tour Focus was photoshoot on boat of customers & then selling those photo’s after docking. $5 (USD) per person (or $100 pesos) as dock fee was not included in the price. Average tour.

This Clearboat ride was absolutely unforgettable! Gliding over the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea in a fully transparent boat felt like floating in a dream. The view beneath our feet was just as stunning as the view around us—vibrant marine life, sparkling waters, and the endless beauty of Cancun’s coastline. The boat was super clean and comfortable, and the staff made the whole experience even better with their kindness and knowledge. It was relaxing, fun, and perfect for capturing some amazing photos. But they asked me to pay to much for the photos If you’re looking for something unique and peaceful to do in Cancun, this is it. Highly recommended for all ages whether you’re into nature, photography, or just want to enjoy a new perspective of paradise!

Taxi would have been $120 usd from resort To pickup place, 1 way so total just To get there and back would’ve been $240 USD. and they would not change us To a closer pickup. No one was helpful and of course lost the money.

Took an Uber 40 minutes to get to the tour, arrived with my 1 year old and 4 year old just to be told they were planning on moving our tour out two hours later due to weather. I don't mind the fact that it was for our safety. However, would have been greatly appreciated if I received a phone call, email or text letting us know about the delay. Boo.

We wasted time going to this tour to learn it was cancelled. They said they informed Viator at 7:30 am. They did not let us know. Your was at 10. Not their fault it was canceled but they should have informed us. Still waiting for a refund.

Team was very accommodating. Host and captain was very thorough. The experience was wonderful along with the time frame. We went as a family of 4 which included 2 children 10/11. The picture experience was worth the trip.

I went on a Clear Boat Tour, and it was an incredible experience! Our tour guide, David, was fantastic.He was knowledgeable, friendly, and really added to the overall enjoyment of the trip. The customer service was top-notch, making sure everything was seamless from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Cancun.

Going out to the ocean, the waves were really bumping into boat, husband felt seasick. Turning around going back with the waves, it was a lot better. Reaching the lagoon was really smooth. The crew was fantastic and very considerate. I was disappointed because the sealife went out into the deeper part of the ocean due to the storms. The only fish we saw were the tiny minnows by the dock.

Amazing experience with a nice crew. The negatives were 25mins delay of the tour and expensive photographs.

Such a cool experience. Martin and Daphne were the best. Daphne took amazing pictures for all of us. I just wish it was a bit longer. My 2-year-old had a blast, hearing her excitement made it ALL worth it.

My husband and I booked this excursion for our honeymoon. We wound up being the only two on the boat and had an amazing time together. Our captain was born and raised in Isla Mujeres and knew exactly where to take us to see the cool sights and wildlife. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, cared about safety, and made sure we had a great time. We got some awesome photos out of the experience and would highly recommend this trip to others!

My husband and I tried this hour tour and we really enjoyed it! The staff was very nice, specially Lalo the main guy who was friendly, provided great information, and he is the best photographer guide ever! The took us to spots in the water to be able to see the bottom of the ocean. I do recommend it, it was fun. I just wish there was a longer version of that.

We visited Cancun the last week of May 2024. (Not a good idea.) At that time, it was exceedingly hot and humid; almost 100% humidity. Our uber driver had no idea where this EnvaTours building but he was so helpful in that he called EnvaTours and they directed him where to bring us. Before we got there, police prevented us from reaching our destination by blocking off the road. Despite the head & humidity, we walked about 4 blocks searching for EnvaTours. We finally found it in a non-descript building. Inside there was little air conditioning and nowhere to sit down to rest after our hot walk. The young woman who received us was civil but not pleasant and gave us our wristbands for the excursion. For the readers’ knowledge, the "glass-bottom" boat is actually made of plexiglass but had been maintained relatively free of scratches. Inside the boat we viewed colorful fish, seagrass, turtles and beautiful blue Caribbean water. It was a pleasant ride, and we observed the children on the ride truly had a great time, looking down through the boat at the sea life!!!

It got canceled do to weather and now I have to wait 7 days to get my money back, don't find it far .

Wasn’t able to art because hotel wouldn’t allow the Uber driver on the property. Reached out to you guys to try and reschedule or get a refund and couldn’t. Then afterwards you claimed that you waited for us when we were already told that the ride had already started.

This was a great and fantastic memorable experience. The crew was exceptional in making the trip exciting.

This was an incredible experience!! I didn't have high expectations - as a solo traveler I mostly was just hoping to get a few good photos. The one hour ride far exceeded anything I imagined. Through the bottom of the boat we saw enormous, beautiful turtles, stingrays, coral, and more. Our captain, Alan, and guide, Alberto, were friendly and knowledgeable. They kept everyone safe and having fun. Huge shout out to Alberto for making sure everyone got AMAZING pictures, including by suggesting poses to suit your comfort level. 10/10 would recommend!

This was a unique experience. We saw one turtle, one manta ray and several fish. Would have liked to spend more time finding sea creatures than taking pictures but the pictures are pretty cool.

This tour exceeded our expectations, the tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. He also gave us so many poses for the pictures. My friends and I had a great time. Would definitely recommend !

I wanted to see more sea life than people having photo shoots. That was a major waste of time. If people want photo shoots do it after or something. Didn’t get to see much sea life as the photo shoots took over 1/2 hour of our trip

The waves were too strong and it was scary for a lot of people on the boat. We didn’t see any fish. The tour guide was friendly and apologetic. Would go when waves are calm. They don’t check for winds.

This was a perfect trip for us with 2 young children (1 year old and 4 year old) even with the windy conditions our 4 year old loved it. She is such an adrenaline girl. Our guide Adrian was amazing so accommodating and made sure we saw lots of turtles. It was just a brilliant trip for us as a family. Thank you!

I had so much fun on this excursion! I learned a lot about the history of Mexico. There were a lot of hugeee statues under water and bigggg turtles! The water was blue and the tour guides were nice, they took great pictures. Extra drinks and good music. Loved it, 10/10

We had a wonderful experience with Envatours. Captain Alfonso got us to the perfect locations and we were able to see several sea turtles. Alberto was engaging and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend them to our our friends and family.

TERRIBLE customer service. There was a storm at our resort, so we tried to book for a different day and they said indefinitely NO. There’s a storm, with huge waves in the ocean, we have a 2 year old and you’re telling us we can’t rebook??? Terrible. Do NOT book with viator

Probably one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! We got to encounter a bunch of fish and sea turtles that even came to greet us! The crew was amazing! Very friendly and professional! Loved how they took pictures throughout the ride! Definitely recommend for couples and families!

We took the clear bottom boat tour on Isla Mujeres. Edwardo and Antonio were amazing. We were lucky enough to see Turtles, barracudas, Stingrays, puffer fish and lots of other colorful fish. It is a definite tour to take.

The excursion was canceled twice. I recommend renting a bigger boat for a tour. These little boats are not allowed in the marina if it’s too windy

The blue of the Caribbean seemed even bluer than from the beach. Last year we swam with the wonderful whale shark and however deep you dived, the water was still deep turquoise! We had hoped to go as far as the Mesoamerican Reef, the second biggest in the world, after The Great Barrier Reef, but it was mostly nearer to the shore so few exotic fishes or corals, but the sand was a glorious sight and we saw a turtle, directly below us. Very nice staff, very patient.

I arrived at the scheduled and when I arrived I was informed that the excursion got cancelled an hour before I got there. I wasn’t informed before I got there and now I’m getting the run around for my refund. And I spent about $50 for a taxi there and back for nothing. It’s been two days now and I still haven’t heard back about my refund.

The clear water and the staff! who made the tour very nice and comfortable. The experience was amazing I’ll rate it 10/10 and definitely will tell others.

Super dope experience, the ride was as real smooth and informative. They made sure we seen turtles and exotic fish in the ocean and the best part was the photographer he got the best pictures of myself and my sisters!!! Once you pay already on the trip inside the boat they forget the friendliness, there is no tolerance with the times even because you are in the bathroom. The tour can leave you unaware even because you are delayed for a couple of minutes. Attention within the tour if you leave much to be desired.
