Amazing show, great for English and spanish goers. 80 minute show and its feels like 120. Would recommend. Also greats for kids

Fantastic show get there early if you want a drink as the bar gets very overwhelmed. But well worth the money canepes were very nice and you get a whole bottle of ok champagne.

We were never picked up so we missed the show! They told me the driver never checked in with bell man. When I called to find out what’s going on they said get a cab but it was too late. I want a refund.

Absolutely fantastic night from arriving to leaving. Well worth every penny. Highly recommend.

It was an amazing show! The dinner package had small portions but was creative and very tasty. The venue has air conditioning. 10/10 recommend if you are in the area!

Remarkable and over the top. The venue is beautifully maintained. The show itself is a delight in its story, staging, performers and theatricality. Performed in a unique theater. Booking with Cirque for dinner and the show allowed us to choose the exact table but I would not do this again. I am a slow eater. All meals are served at roughly the same time (a fixed menu) and you are not given much time to finish your entree as they want the dessert to be on the table soon after the commencement of the performances. I was surprised that they don't allow doggie bags, so you either have to eat in a hurry or forego a portion of your entree. I thought the appetizers were excellent and if we go again I would opt for the appetizers and show. The staff doesn't seem to know the times when the theater will be open for seating so you can wind up waiting in lines unnecessarily. Seems odd.

My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at Vidanta Riviera Maya and there we experienced the Cirque du Solei Joya show and dinner. Everything was spectacular and we highly recommend it to all ages. The dinner itself was amazing - it was a delicious 3 course meal that was fitting of a Cirque du Solei evening - filled with surprises, theatrics and amazingly prepared food. Our servers Emanuel and Mario took incredibly good care of us throughout. We had seen other Cirque du Solei shows in other cities, and this show more than lives up to the brand with amazing acrobatics and theatre. We hope our experience convinces you to give it a try - you will be amazed and impressed!

Very pleasant evening. This is a must when visiting playa del carmen. Great drinks and the service is amazing.

The facility where the event is held is very beautiful and the surrounding grounds were very nice as well. The only complaint was the lack of food choices at the venue. Unless you bout the meal with the event, only popcorn was available for food outside of overpriced drinks.

Came with my Family and we had a great time. Alan and Hubaldo were attentive and great guides. The show was amazing and the talent was immense, I’d come back.

Bought the dinner package and went on a Tuesday night. Cab ride from our hotel which was a 5 min drive was $25USD😳. Property is huge and has lots of offer Paid photo ops all over -pricey Lots of areas to sit relax and have a drink prior to the show the theatre is huge and lots of visual imagery. We had front row seats just beside VIP area The food in itself is spectacular and well worth the money Read up about the show before going so you understand the concept. Show dialogue in English and Spanish and gain lots to take it After the show there was entertainment outside the theatre -free as well Would recommend

The show was excellent but we get there way too early (1.5 hours before the show) and there is nothing to do there and no place to beat the heat.

Awesome show. We've been to several Cirque shows but this was our fist time going in Riviera Maya. Fun family show and no intermission, so much better for children becuase it's shorter than the other shows we've seen. I liked the story and how it had a theme appropriate for all ages. The scenery and performances are always so beautiful and dreamy. The bar service was top notch and the vibe right when you enter the property is stunning. The kids loved the show and I loved the performance and atmosphere. Perfect family outing during vacation.

We exchanged our voucher at the theater for our table. I was worried we might get a table in the corner because we didn’t choose our seats, but our table was right next to the VIP section. The dinner was phenomenal and the show was amazing. It was definitely a highlight of the trip and I appreciated saving money through Viator, instead of buying tickets directly through Cirque de Soleil.

My wife and I were completely delighted with the show. The costumes the live music and performance were all excellent. The characters were personable and captivating. Booking with trip advisor saved us $40 a ticket. We just booked the show only option. But it cost us $90 for a cab roundtrip from our resort to the show. The seats were great. Excellent view the theater design is beautiful. The show went fast about an hour and half? Wish we would have gotten there earlier there was a music show before the show started. The musicians are very good. We would go again and are looking for another show maybe even plan a trip to Las Vegas just to go to another one.

Disappointing bcoz when we arrived and made a line there was a big group from some company welcomed and they let all that group past first although their seats due to amount of people were all across the place so didn’t get idea why they separate them from main people line who also paid vip packages and then they provide welcome drinks but only for that specific group which was weird …why not to make a private event with some big company group then I mean literally the waiter approach us offering drink smiling and asking if we came with that company and when we said no he turned his back and pretend he didn’t talk to us, hilarious, coz we been to ludo in vidanta Vallarta and all vip package people and non vip package were treated same, here they treat only some special guests from some company whatever stuff really feo, that was first bad impression of this place , second one was even worse: my toddler asked to go toilet like around 40 mins before show finished and when we wanted go back to seat the the stuff don’t les us go explaining that need wait until the part of show that was in process finished which is fair due to acrobatics things they do across the place close to tables with guests, so we sit and wait unless was obvious it was non acrobatic part and was no artists/assistant installations goin on at that very moment and the stuff just tried to be non logical impolite holding us back from goin to seats yet we start waiting in close to toilet and my toddler start crying coz wanted to go back to our seats and dad then the same damn stuff guy approach me and ask me to stop it, then take us back to seats man! I have stuff there, i wanted go back to finish watching show and my champagne, meanwhile that part of show was finished and another one started and they guy still didn’t let us go to our seats, I had to call my husband to go back to toilet areas for us to speak to them to let us back coz stuff literally wanted us wait the end of show next to toilet while we bought champagne vip package, really o don’t think Joya Vidanta Riviera Maya deserves even non vip no dinner normal seat money spending, better go ludo Vallarta or any other one

Belen and Claudia have made the experience extraordinary before we even walk into the show. Cirque du Soleil is a feast for the eyes, but at this show it’s also a feast of gastronomy traveling through space and time enjoying the essence of the show in a multicourse meal with champagne surrounded by acts of daring and talent. There’s nothing like it in the world. Thank you Balen and Claudia for beginning and ending the show so beautifully. You are incredible ambassadors to the Cirque du Soleil experience.

If I could give this experience a negative grade, I would. Our “family outing” kicked off with a bus ride so dysfunctional it felt like a social experiment. The driver somehow managed to seat my wife, me, and our two daughters; including one with autism; in completely different sections of the bus. Not one passenger had the basic human decency to shift over until my wife deployed her signature death stare. And the passengers nearby? Rude, loud, snarky, and marinating the entire bus in a fog of fast food breath that should’ve come with a warning label. They talked over my wife, ignored the fact that our younger daughter was clearly scared sitting away from her mother, and only offered to move after being confronted. The ride itself felt like the suspension had been replaced with pogo sticks. Then came Cirque; the crown jewel of disappointment. It’s less a show and more a meticulously engineered cash extraction machine. Endless forced photo ops, overpriced everything, and food that tasted like it had given up on life. We paid $800 for an “appetizer and drinks experience” that could generously be described as a scam. The show? Wonky, awkward, and mostly in Spanish; which would’ve been fine if it were actually good. Instead, it felt like watching a dress rehearsal that never graduated. The staff hovered like helicopter hall monitors, policing every move as if we were about to steal the stage props. No physical programs, no convenience, no value. The return bus ride was the encore nobody asked for: bumpy, nauseating, and the final confirmation that Viator will never see another dollar from me. And Cirque? Let people use rideshare instead of forcing everyone into the taxi gauntlet. Final Grade: F. A masterclass in how to ruin a day.

It was an amazing experience.

The show itself was amazing but the staff did not make any attempts to fulfill my request for accessible seating for my elderly parents. We waited in a wrong line for over 30 minutes because there was no clear instructions as to where to stand. Like I said the show itself was amazing but unfortunately because the staff specially Tina (at the entrance of the event) we did not have an inviting and accommodating experience as we would have liked. The theatre of course was dark during the show and my parents had to go up and down stairs with NO guard railing!!!! Beware of this if you decide to take elderly family members.

I’ve wanted to check out Cirque Du Soleil for a while now, so this was a big deal that I went ahead and splurged on tickets for my kids and I. The shuttle arrived on time and was very comfortable and new. The drivers - to & fro expect a tip. The location is very nice. Be sure to order the ticket that includes dinner. Dinner was amazing! What an unforgettable experience! The service was delightful! The food was exceptional! The show was engaging! I wouldn’t change a thing! BUY THE TICKETS!!! 5/5 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Speaking as a fan of Cirque du Soleil productions, JOYÀ was a fantastic experience and unlike any other resident or touring show thanks to its unique dinner-and-a-show format. It makes for an unforgettable evening by pairing a wonderfully orchestrated dining experience with a thoughtfully curated menu, all wrapped in Cirque du Soleil's signature creativity and spectacle. From start to finish, we loved being immersed in the experience. The evening begins with pre-show cocktails in a stunning outdoor setting overlooking a lagoon and the hilltop theater, followed by dinner beneath the venue's elegant "big top" before culminating in a fantastic production. The live entertainment during dinner creates a lively, engaging atmosphere, and the cuisine is far from an afterthought. Every course was delicious, and we appreciated how the menu reflected the same creativity and storytelling that define Cirque du Soleil's productions. The show itself was excellent. While it's true that it's shorter than many other Cirque productions, the performances, storytelling, and production value were impressive from beginning to end. Taken together with the dining experience, I actually think the length is just right—I can't imagine sitting through a much longer show after such an indulgent meal without slipping into a food coma. Our servers were attentive, personable, and highly engaging throughout the evening. We especially loved that they joined the performers onstage during the curtain call to receive their own well-deserved round of applause. My only criticism is the transportation afterward. If you don't have transportation arranged in advance, the wait for a taxi can be lengthy, and the process feels a bit disorganized. Having more taxis available at the end of the evening would make for a smoother conclusion to an otherwise exceptional experience. Overall, I can't recommend JOYÀ highly enough. The combination of an outstanding meal and a world-class Cirque du Soleil performance offers tremendous value and makes for a memorable night out—and a perfect excuse to venture beyond your resort while visiting the Riviera Maya.

The food was excellent and the show was top notch. The show was a little slow in between set changes.But overall was worth it. I would recommend this show. Every seat in the house is a good one.

Cirque's productions are always excellent, unfortunately in my opinion the storyline was not that great. About the venue... Don't arrive too early unless you're willing to wait outside in the heat. There's no access to the theater lobby, nowhere to sit or wait in an air-conditioned area. Also, I intentionally purchased my tickets from Cirque but was told there was some type of error in the wording. I bought the appetizer and drinks package, but the verbiage on that was misleading as well. Not drinks but a bottle of champagne is included anything else is extra. I guess it was my fault that I didn't ask for the souvenir that was mentioned in the purchase as well. Also, be aware if you are staying in the hotel zone, it is approximately 1hr away. Again, Cirque productions are always done in excellence and many will and apparently do love it, but I've seen better Cirque shows.

This is a must see for all ages. It was a fun show with an Incredible array of talent. The service was efficient and courteous and very well run.

The show the atmosphere the staff absolutely amazing worth every penny can’t wait to go again and do dinner this time. We only saw the showbut if you were in the area and can see the show it is a must from start to finish good night I asked for anything better.

Experience was amazing from the moment you get dropped off. Fully immersive and beautiful place to watch the show. Show starts a little later than the official start time on booking but this allows time for snacks/food and drinks in the bar before show

From the moment we arrived the experience was magical. The treatment upon arrival, the venue, and the beautiful hosts and hostesses were so helpful and kind! The pre/entertainment at the restaurants was incredible. However, the best part was that our server, Emmanuel, went out of his way to make sure I received gluten free and seafood free items. He insisted and made me feel like I was not a bother! The show was outstanding as was the level of service. If you speak English and your Spanish is minimal you will enjoy the show and manage fine! Also, do yourself a favor and upgrade to the premium dinner! We only did premium apps and regretted it immediately when we saw the flavors and extras! that accompanied the meal!

I booked transport, dinner and a show through TripAdvisor. The transfer was on time and very smooth and comfortable. The whole evening was an amazing experience, highly recommended! We will do it again next time we visit Cancun.

The venue was incredible and the performers amazing. A wonderful story line and easy to understand in english and spanish. We did the appetizer ticket and would have been just fine without. The show is family friendly and only 80 mins GO ENJOY!

Great show! Easily on par with other Cirque shows I’ve seen. Family friendly. Beautiful location. Meal and service were excellent. What’s not to like?

Found the prices for drinks really expensive and the photos even though good did not warrant the price asked for. Was really looking forward to this experience but did not live up to our expectations at nearly £300 for 2 people. One positive was the transport.

The show itself was amazing ! I love Cirque du Soliel ! The experience/ venue was great . There was live music afterwards . I personally Wouldn’t purchase this experience again on Viator unless I needed transportation bc Viator prices are significantly higher than prices at the venue. Also communication with Viator is always a headache ! Lastly, I would skip the appetizers , as they are not appetizers as described it’s more like hors d'oeuvres and I didn’t like any of them .

Redeeming the voucher at the box office went off without a hitch. There is a slight risk you get assigned bad seats since Viator doesn't let you choose them versus booking them direct, but we were given great seats. The dinner service was great and very attentive. Dinner itself was also great, everything was good except I wish the desserts were a little better. The presentation of all the food was unique and camera worthy. The show itself was fun and the performers were very talented. I believe it lasted for around 1 hr 15 min. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved Cirque du Soleil. The experience was amazing. We had great servers. We had great food. The show was phenomenal. Our servers were Giovanna Ubaldo. They were absolutely friendly, patient kind, and very attentive to our every need.

When bought tickets it’s said Red Tide drinks on us but after seated and asked the waiter, he said no it’s not included. It’s misleading information was given.

Show was good but waiter never came back with our drinks and never saw him again through the whole show.

You knocked my socks off! Not only was the show fantastic but the dinner was over the top delicious. Giovanna and Cemora took care of explaining the menu, serving us with knowledge and efficiency not just the appetizers, entrees and dessert but the wine options as well. It’s not often am I dazzled but your dinner & performance were 5-star. Bravo!

We come evert year and it never fails to disappoint. The show is amazing. However, the attention to detail is outstanding. The staff cater to your evey need. Thank you to our waiter Daniel. Nothing was too much trouble.
