This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! 🇲🇽✨ . The ruins are absolutely fascinating, and learning about the history and culture made the visit even more special. After Chichen Itza, we visited a beautiful cenote, and it was the perfect way to cool off and relax. 💦 The water was crystal clear, and swimming there was such a unique experience. The combination of history, culture, adventure, and nature made this tour totally worth it. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend adding Chichen Itza and a cenote to your itinerary. You won’t regret it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

While the old historical monument was Great, the info on how long the whole trip takes is misleading. Expect 12-14 hour day. Spent way longer time at the gift shop then needed to be, in effect caused less time at the events.
We were not picked up for this tour. Our hotel was not among the pickup hotels either, so we took an uber. We waited and waited. I called and left a message and sent an email. Eventually I got a text saying they were looking into it - but after 40 more minutes there was no reply we were still standing in the heat outside the gate at this hotel. Finally just ubered back and got a refund. All in all, we wasted hours of our vacation for this - if customer service was faster, we could've have been able to get back sooner.
I really enjoyed the tour overall and was pleased with every aspect of the experience. My guide, Alan, was incredible. He had extensive knowledge of Mayan culture and even knew about the location and history of the different places we passed along the way. He was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person. The food was good overall. It was not the best, but I would have appreciated a little more food and perhaps a greater variety of traditional Mexican dishes. The entire tour was well organized, and the transportation was punctual. I would recommend being ready at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, as they actually arrived five minutes earlier than the time indicated in the agency confirmation. Overall, I am very happy with this tour. Congratulations to the entire team for providing such a great experience!
They didn’t show and we have to wait for them to respond (which they didn’t respond to us or the Viator customer service team either) for the full refund. I’m so upset. This is so unprofessional.
I took this tour with my family, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Our guide was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the entire staff did a great job throughout the day. The meeting point was very convenient, as they picked us up directly at the entrance of my hotel without any issues. I made sure to be ready 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, as instructed in my confirmation message, and they arrived exactly on time. There are a lot of visitors at Chichén Itzá, but considering it's one of the most incredible archaeological sites in the world, that's completely understandable. The pyramid is absolutely breathtaking, and the cenote we visited was stunning. The lunch buffet was average. I wouldn't describe it as exceptional, but it certainly wasn't bad either. Keep in mind that drinks are not included with the meal, although I didn't find the prices to be unreasonable. The only part I didn't particularly enjoy was the visit to a Mayan village. While it included demonstrations of traditional Mayan rituals, it was also focused on selling handicrafts. My recommendation would be to save your shopping for Chichén Itzá, where I found the prices to be more affordable. Don't let that stop you from enjoying the tour it was still a very pleasant experience overall. Finally, Valladolid is a beautiful colonial town. I would love to return someday to explore it properly, since this tour only allows a brief visit. Even so, the itinerary was well organized, enjoyable, and made for a fantastic day.
truly not recommending, company is a not funny joke. we booked trip for monday. on monday morning when we were already waiting in meeting point we got message that they made mistake and trip is not on monday but we can go on tuesday. on monday evening we got call from company to confirm that we are going. on tuesday morning, again when we were already at meeting point and trying to reach out to company, we got information that THEY DONT HAVE ANY MORE PLACES AVAILABLE. so thanks to company, i’m not gonna see things that i came to mexico for. i’m not recommending unless u want be disappointed
Terrible. They didn’t show up and left 14 of us waiting. They didn’t answer their phone or emails. No communication. By the time we realized they weren’t coming, it was too late to book something else. The customer service with Viator was great. They answered my chat quickly and me a refund. We had to wait to get it but at least we knew it was coming. We ended up finding a cheaper tour there and salvaged our trip. But yeah, book elsewhere
Never showed up!!! We waited over an hour. Contacted them, no answer. Victor called them, no answer. Wasted our time and now it's too late to book with another company. Very unprofessional!! Do NOT use this company. Extremely unreliable!!
We had been looking forward to visiting this archaeological site for a long time. Throughout history, we have learned about the importance of the Mayan civilization and its influence on our world today, so we were very excited to finally see the famous Chichén Itzá pyramid in person. Without a doubt, the experience exceeded all our expectations. We would have loved to spend more time exploring the archaeological site, but every stop included in the tour was amazing and added something special to the overall experience. The only thing worth mentioning is that beverages are not included with the buffet. However, this did not affect our enjoyment of the tour, which was excellent from start to finish. A special thank you to our guide, Mauricio, who was outstanding throughout the entire day. His explanations were fascinating, detailed, and easy to understand. It was clear that he is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region. The organization and logistics of the tour were also excellent, making everything run smoothly. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the history, culture, and beauty of Chichén Itzá.
The trip was supposed to last 5 hours. We were picked up at 7:30 and didn’t back to our hotel until 8:30. We missed our dinner reservation. They were trying to sell us stuff the whole time. Pyramids should have been first then lunch then cenote.
The tour is longit will take up your whole day. First, they pick you up from your hotel, then take you to a base where all the tourists gather to board the buses. After about two hours, you arrive at a village where they show you some Mayan traditions. I recommend not buying anything there because everything is cheaper at Chichén Itzá, and you’ll be able to bargain. The cenote is spectaculara truly beautiful place. I never expected that, despite the hot and humid weather, the water would be so cold, but it’s incredibly refreshing. Swimming in such stunning natural formations, shaped over millions of years, is an unforgettable experience. I also really enjoyed the visit to Valladolid—I’d love to come back and explore it more.
Our team was amazing and so personable. Marco our tour guide is a wealth of knowledge and a great mentor to Beto who will be a great tour guide. Jose our driver got us there safety. This team made the experience great and it was very organized. They translated in English which help d tremendously. Communication needs to improve regarding pick up times. Our scheduled pick up time was 7am. I did not get a text or email until 7:30am stating our pick up time was at 7:30am. They should communicate a smaller van will pick you up then you will transfer to a large coach bus. The booking description should be more detailed regarding times of pick up, how long it takes to drive to the first location and so on.
Great day at Chichén Itzá with One Click. Abel made everything interesting and easy to follow, Ave kept things running smoothly, and Mari was super kind the whole time. The cenote was beautiful and the food was good. Everything felt well organized would definitely recommend.
During our vacation we went to Chichén itzá with One click and the tour was professional and very enjoyable. Abel was our guide very knowledgeable and friendly The cenote was amazing and the buffet was also good Everything was good
This tour was amazing. Chichén Itzá and its pyramid make a strong impression from the very beginning. Overall, we were given a great tour, but I think a few minor aspects were missing—things I will definitely explore the next time I visit. I feel we didn’t have enough time in Valladolid, as I found it to be a very beautiful and colorful city, and the people are very welcoming. The agency staff and especially our guide, Alan, were fantastic. I also loved the cenote, but since we visited during Holy Week, it was quite crowded with tourists. Even so, the experience of entering these natural sinkholes is truly impressive.M
This tour was such a great time. Chichén Itzá is seriously unreal in person, way better than anything you see online. Our guide Rubén was awesome, he speaks like five languages which is kinda wild, and he made everything super easy to understand and actually fun. The cenote was probably my favorite part, just really chill and refreshing. The buffet stop was good too, and Luz there was super sweet, always smiling and really kind the whole time. Yeah it’s a long day, not gonna lie, but everything ran smooth and it never felt stressful. If you’re in Cancun and wanna hit all the main spots without overthinking it, this is a solid choice.
My experience on the tour to Chichén Itzá was, overall, very positive. It’s a well-organized and complete tour, ideal for those who want to visit several important places in just one day. The guide did an excellent job—very attentive, friendly, and always willing to help and answer questions. That really made a difference throughout the entire experience. One of the most impressive parts of the tour was the visit to the cenote. Honestly, it was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. It’s incredible to witness what nature can create. Without a doubt, it’s an unforgettable experience. The tour also includes a stop in Valladolid, a charming place, although I feel the time there is quite limited to truly explore it. As for something that could be improved speaking from my personal experience the meal schedule wasn’t ideal. We had lunch too early, which made me feel hungry for the rest of the tour. It’s a small detail, but adjusting it could improve the overall experience. I did this trip with my family, and it is definitely designed to be enjoyed that way. However, it also left me with a thought: while the tour is a great introduction to these places, it’s worth considering visiting them separately in the future. Places like Valladolid and the cenote deserve more time to be fully enjoyed, since the tour schedule is quite limited. In the case of the cenote, it was quite crowded, and I was left wanting more time—especially my son, who wanted to keep jumping and enjoying the experience. In conclusion, it’s a highly recommended tour, especially if it’s your first time visiting these places. It gives you a great overview and the opportunity to come back later and explore each location at your own pace.
My wife and I were very curious to visit this archaeological site, especially because my wife is a follower of Mayan and Egyptian cultures. We were truly fascinated by the pyramids. The people in the region are extremely kind and welcoming. We only recommend not relying solely on the tour description that mentions a 5-hour duration, as the full experience actually takes more than 12 hours. Later, it was explained to us that the 5 hours refer only to the time spent at each activity.
It was a wonderful experience. I will back again at the ferture.
We got royally scammed by these folks. First they didn’t fully disclose the additional fees that we were supposed to pay. We ended up paying additional 125% more off the original that was paid to Viator. Throughout the trip, they keep trying to up sell you more. The lunch place has a shop that tries to sell everything 4-5 times more than what you would get in the market otherwise. The tour had 2.5 hours stop at Mayan heritage site and one hour at Cenote. I wish it were other way around. While dropping us back to hotel, they dropped us off on the Main Street. We had to walk about half a mile in the rain to get to Hotel lobby. Overall Very disappointed that we booked this tour via them. The good thing was, guide spoke well in English.
The excursion says 5 hrs but it lasted over 14 hrs, we did not plan to spend that much time on the tour so we were not prepared for such a long time. This was labeled as English tour but the tour guide Jorge mainly spoke Spanish and just said a few words in English and it was hard to follow. There was a fee for a reservation for $55 which it appeared this was optional as with the fee for the life vests for the Cenote. But we were asked to pay this without an option not to go. We were brought to a Mayan village which was not an authentic experience and everything was an additional charge. The prices for souvenirs were way higher than when we got to Chichen Itza. This Mayan village was not listed as a stop on the tour description, we were forced to eat lunch at 11 am. We spent the most time at this village and the other stops were given less time as we spent most of our time there. The trip to Chichen Itza was a great experience as the tour guide Roberto was very knowledgeable and detailed with his explanations, however, since we spent so much time at the fake Mayan village we were not able to spend as much time at Chichen Itza. The Cenote and the other village was a good experience. I would not recommend this tour to anyone, the highlight should have been Chichen Itza but it seems like the focus was on the Mayan Village and a money grab
in Chichén Itzá was very enjoyable as a family. We were able to explore the archaeological site at a comfortable pace, learn about its history, and spend quality time together. Afterwards, the kids had a great time swimming in the cenote it was their favorite part of the day. We took several photos, walked quite a bit, and appreciated every detail of the place. It was a very enriching visit, and it’s definitely an experience we would love to repeat.
Great experience! Tour of 65 people. It is a 12 hr tour. Choose the all inclusive so you can have snacks and drinks on board and your fees are covered. Otherwise bring some snacks ( we saved about 150 dollarswith the cheapest option) It is a long drive, they take u to lunch first. Theres bathroom in the bus. They take u to a shop and cacao place where they sell u things then u go for lunch.if u ask me, that was a waste of time. They ask u not to.bring drinks inside so u can buy their drinks. Food buffet is good. Not much option for diabetics, they do not have sugar free options, as u know they love their sugar. ChiChen Itza is great. Lots to learn. I am a history junkie soo this was great. Our English tour guide was great. Then we did cenote.. it was great but such a short time only an hour.. wish we could have spend more time there than the shop they make us go and shop. Villadoid was great too but half hour?? Is not enough. Drop off was seamlessly after we drop off ppl from AVA resort.. oh my that drop off took 30 mins. Lol. Anyways. It is great but wasted time on the shops before the lunch, we also wasted time picking up ppl who werent even in our tour but was on another tour..
This was a really good tour overall. It was clearly well planned, and the guides were friendly and helpful. My issue was with how the tour was presented. On this site, it’s listed as a 5-hour tour, but that’s misleading. Just getting to the first stop took about 2.5 hours, and while the stops themselves were close to one another, the initial drive made the day much longer than expected. What we thought would be a 5-hour outing ended up taking about 13 hours in total. The tour itself was fun and you do get to see a lot, but I was caught off guard when we boarded the bus and learned we wouldn’t be back to the hotels until 9:30 or 10:00 p.m. I realize the guides can’t change how far Chichén Itzá is from Cancún, but it would be helpful if the listing were updated with more accurate timing. Overall, I’d still recommend the experience if you go in knowing it’s a full-day commitment. Just plan for a long day, bring plenty of water and snacks, and you’ll enjoy it a lot more.
Excellent tour through out, good value for money, very well organized, great well infomed guides, very highly recomended.
One of the 7 wonder of the world. An experience definitely worth experiencing. The day was long for no reason. I can have dealt without the buffet- which was horrible. And the shops before hand you get no service so I recommend having cash for souvenirs.
We paid under $300 for a family of 4. We were picked up in a van from hotel, taken to a meeting place and from there joined by other groups. We paid the 999 mxn peso tax per person with ladies wearing uniforms of Baktun tours. I recommend getting some type of receipt to show at the bus. We were then led to the bus and went on board this bus to locations in the itinerary. Everything went smoothly. Hector, our tour guide was very fluent in English. He seemed very authentic and knowledgeable. He gave us time to nap and always set expectations. He had an assistant, Efraim. They were selling bottled waters, sunscreen and mosquito spray. If you think this is a money grab, it’s actually not bad, 20 pesos for 500ml water in case you ran out. We brought some for the trip but didn’t bring enough. They’re more expensive at the stops. We paid 330 pesos for drinks at the buffet, they won’t let us bring in the drinks we brought, but I don’t think it’s worth it to get the drink inclusive option if you’re booking with another provider that has the option. It was hot, and humid and uncomfortable but these are not under their control so I’m giving this a high 4.5. My only advice is to reduce the time spent with Chichen Itza guide, an hour is too much imo. Or they could stay with us the entire 2.5 hrs, give us time to take pictures while going around instead of having to go back on our free time. We were so tired that we barely got pictures. It’s well worth the trip though. We were skeptical at first because other tours costs at least 500 dollars more so we were thinking it might be too good to be true. Well, it’s too good and very real. Highly recommended.
First off our tour guides throughout the experience were exceptional. We started with the Shaman service, lunch in a local Mayan restaurant ( loads of buffet type local foods and dancers) along with a gift shop. We then proceeded to Chichen Itza, while extremely hot ( we would recommend getting an umbrella), then the Cenote ( this was the more beautiful cenote we visited), Valladolid was beautiful but short lived at a 20 minute visit. This is where i say heed the warning, as advertised the tours are 5 hours approx. But we were (including travelling from Playa Del Carmen) 14 hours round trip. I would suggest a large breakfast before you leave, bring lots of snacks and water etc. We were not aware of this until half way to the first tour
the destinations we went to were amazing. The place not mentioned here is the 1.5 hrs we spent at a restaurant for lunch, that adds to your time. If we talk about the service, very basic. Apparently there was a VIP service from what I saw, but there wasn’t much of a difference. Don’t waste your money. The tour was not 5 hours it was 14 hours, just like every other tour. Don’t plan on having time at your resort. When you’re being left at your hotel, we were left on the main road of our hotel. Lastly, we were asked to not leave a tip, we were asked to leave an “excellent tip”. We felt pressured into leaving one.
Excellent! Although it rained for most of our visit, the operators did a great job keeping our group entertained and to each excursion timely. It was a wonderful day.
Would recommend, everything was in order very structured. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Wish could’ve had a little more time at the cenote and at Valladolid. I think our guides name was Carlos with his young coworker
Our tour guide, Jorge was very knowledgeable and engaging. Would definitely do this tour again with him. Every place we went was absolutely beautiful.
This tour was more about commercialization rather than culture. The activities that were most interesting were at the end of the tour, while the least interesting ones were at the beginning. The first stop at the village could have been eliminated; that was just an excuse to get us to buy stuff. The tour guide was prepping us to spend money before we even got off the bus. While the tour guide said everything in Spanish and English, he spoke very fast and I couldn’t understand him, so I tried to tune him out. He was unnecessarily over the top. His partner also could benefit from better customer service skills. Perhaps, this tour could have been better organized with another tour group and host.
Visiting these pyramids was one of the best experiences I had in the Yucatán Peninsula. This tour was fascinating—the guides were very attentive and detailed throughout the trip. We also went to Valladolid, a beautiful city that I want to visit again with more time. During this tour, I saw some of the best places and took incredible photos. The agency deserves a perfect 10 for their excellent service.
The tour to Chichén Itzá, the cenote, and Valladolid was an amazing experience. From the very beginning, the service was excellent—the guide was friendly, professional, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the trip. Chichén Itzá was truly impressive, and swimming in the cenote was both refreshing and magical. Walking through Valladolid and learning about its history and culture was the perfect way to end the day. Everything was well organized and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!
The tour coordinator did not have a friendly treatment and as a suggestion in season with a lot of visitors it would be better to cut the sites to visit
Excellent experience to enjoy as a family, highly recommended tour. 🫶🏻 We will definitely repeat it with the whole family
To do with a guide to know the history, it is hot there so especially Come with a bottle of water.you can buy drinks inside but it is expensive
A tour that has become very long and badly stumped. I got up at 6am and finally got home at 9.30pm and esuqe in the morning gets really heavy. You're going to pick everyone up from your hotel for 1 hour. Then you get pulled over at a point to check in and you get another easy hour. Total at the end you end up leaving at 9:30, considering that there is 3h to Chichen Itza from Cancun and another 3h back you already throw 6h on the way to lose so much time at the beginning. Add to this a bad approach to the excursion. The activity starts with lunch, Chichen Itza, cenote and valladolid. Well instead of starting with lunch start with Chichen Itza because in the end between trying to sell you coffee, souvenirs, lunch etc you arrive in Chichen itza at the time that is hottest and where there is less shade. This way if we go first thing you plant yourself in less heat. And then even if it is hot, the food can be made in the tent that shades. Also considering that it is so many hours that stop in the middle of the excursion to eat would help not be so hungry the rest of the activity. At the same time there is a lot of stopping time at each point which makes us also to Valladolid at night, and with it you can hardly see the town normally. Plus you're already looking forward to getting to the hotel after so long walking around. Less time in the morning and more use the day to not make it so long.
