Awesome experience with Riccardo and Israel. Just a little bit more slow to the story telling and it would have been perfect. But the overall experience was great and the history lesson is well worth the money ❤️ I Would definitely recommend as a new comer to Mexico ☺️ we met some awesome people while being able to explore the places we were taken too ☺️

We booked a tour on oct 17 it was great experience and we really enjoy the trip . Great experience in cenote
It is a great experience with guide Pastor. He is doing the tour with bilingual spanish and English. He is friendly and kind. Explaining everything in details and answering questions. The fee is fair and length of visit is good too.
Good communication: Amigo Tour has a WhatsApp account and emails to remind me about the trip – this was really helpful, as some tours on another days did not have prompts for pick-up time and location, which is hard for travellers to manage, especially if they are on a long holiday. Pick-up/drop-off was smooth. Our guides were Beto, Thomas, and driver Debo. They were very helpful and friendly. They explained the history and culture of the Maya clearly. Admission tickets can be pre-paid online, so we didn’t waste time on the day. Amigo Tour has re-arranged the order of our viewpoints to avoid the crowds and the heat, so we had a better experience viewing Chichen Itza and the Mayan community. No hard sell from all viewpoints and shops.
Highly highly recommend this tour. Manurl the tour guide and Jorge the drive were fantistic and made what should have been such a long day very enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough and if anyone is luck enough to Get either one of these on the tour, they will have such a great time. There was not one part of the trip I disliked and Manuel was so knowledgeable on every aspect. Thank you, we really had a great day
We had a fantastic time on the Cicchettizza tour and would highly recommend it to anyone! Sahul and Victor made the day so much fun, while also being extremely knowledgeable and informative. The driving was brilliant too! Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. Thank you both for such a memorable day!
Jony cash with Amigo Tours was the best tour guide. Very informative and fun trip learning about the Mayans. It was neat seeing all the old ancient ruins at Chichen Itza. Swimming in the cenote was amazing as well. Big buffet and a stroll through the old colonial town of Valladolid. 5/5 stars would recommend ***** :)
My friends and I chose to go on this tour during our girls trip and are very glad we selected this one. Rodrigo was a great guide and his passion was clear. He was a very informative guide with a good sense of humor. I do wish we had a little more time at the Mayan Village and Chichen Itza, however, it is a full day of a lot of fun!
It is a beautiful well rounded experience of culture and history and nature. We had a lot of fun!!!!
Beto & Tomas were awesome, very entertaining and such great guides. They were funny and made the trip!!! The driver got us there and back safe!!!
Fun and fantastic experience! The driver Chino and the tour guide Frank were some of the best people for the job. Frank spoke English and Spanish very fluently, and he even made jokes to lighten the mood and brighten everyone's day. The experience was very memorable and I would recommend to others, no complaints ! 10/10
Had a wonderful experience! Thank you to our tour guides, Beto and Tomas, for their amazing hospitality and knowledge shared on the trip, as well as a thank you to our bus driver, Tibo, who drove us there and back safely. It was an amazing day and would highly recommend!
My wife and I booked the VIP tour with Viator for about 12 hours and our experience with Marcela was great. Marcela was full of information and engaged with our group as best as she can in both English and Spanish. Definitely do the earliest time to beat the heat and crowds. The sun is brutal when you’re at Chichen Itza (rent the umbrella if you want or bring your own) and the crowds at cenote is a nice cooling refresher in the afternoon after being in the sun. Lunch at the Cenote was delicious for buffet style so I can’t complain too much. With the VIP tour we were picked up from our hotel and met up with the tour bus at a meet up location which seemed weird at first but our driver was very friendly both at the pick up and drop off.
I booked a 12 hour tour. The guides were friendly and helpful, the locations were beautiful, and transportation was hassle free. Highly recommend if you have even the slightest interest in Mexican history.
Paul and Rey made the visit so fun and interesting! It was a long day but they made sure we had enough time to enjoy properly! Hugo drove safe no matter the early hour and the places we visited were incredible
Augustin and Jonny Cash showed us a great time. The tour was informative, punctual, and friendly. Cenote was gorgeous and Jonny gave such a good tour of Chichen Itza. Tasty tequila tasting as well. Only qualm - they make some money off you paying the Chichen Itza tax through them when you can just pay it when you get to the location. But that’s the company not the driver and guide who did a phenomenal job.
Had a great trip today. Our tour guide is Paul & Rey and our driver is Hugo. They pick me up on time and the overall experience is great
Amigo tours was the best!! Especially Rey and Paul and also our tour bus driver Hugo! It was our first time to have this tour and it was indeed a very good experience. They teach you a lot of the mayan culture give you time to explore the place without rushing you. If i were to go back to this place I would choose Paul an rey as our tour guide. 5 Stars for the both of them and the Bus driver.
We went on the tour with Tomas, Omar and Jose. They were great, informative and ran the tour well. It was a well-structured day and the facilities throughout were great. Would recommend the 5am tour as Chichen Itza wasn’t too busy. From Playa Del Carmen it’s about a 13 hour day but well worth it.
We had a great time on this tour. Thanks to Beto for giving us tons of good information about Chichen Itza and Mayan numbers! The cenote was beautiful, and the whole experience was very easy and coordinated.
Tour always awesome. Jorge and Manuel are such energetic engaging and knowledgeble guides. Pick up was on point. The jokes, the information, the guide knowledge
Manuel and Jorge were awesome. By far the best guides out of all the groups. Very knowledgable, engaging and helpful.
From booking the trip to the day of going was excellent. The company kept us updated through WhatsApp and arrived on time on pick up day. From there the day just got better John was our guide and Benji was our driver. John entertained us on the journey with the history or Mayan culture but it was made more enjoyable learning about his family history within the culture. Our first destination was the cenote which we were luck enough to catch a glimpse of a turtle and the tequila tasting has some the best tequila I have tasted. When we got to our next destination we were allowed to go off and explore the little town after that we we went onto chichen itza where again John was really knowledgeable and kept us all interested in what he was saying. We would highly recommend doing the tour.
Johnny Cash, Pastor and Enrique was super informative. They were well organized, arrived on the dot and answered any questions we had.
This experience was incredible! Thanks to Frank, Manuel, and our excellent bus driver Noe! They kept the experience lively, and gave great guidance on the history at each location. I recommend bringing yourself some snacks and wearing comfy shoes! My only critique is that the bus dropped us off at an entirely different location from where we were picked up, but it was a quick uber to our hotel so it wasn’t a big deal.
We had a wonderful experience on the Chichen Itza, Cenote, and Valladolid tour! The entire day was well organized, and each stop offered something unique and memorable. Chichen Itza was absolutely breathtaking, and learning about its history from Beto made the visit even more fascinating. At Chichikan, the included lunch was delicious, and tequila tasting was enjoyable. Exploring the charming town of Valladolid was a lovely addition to the day. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, super-friendly, and made the experience engaging from beginning to end. A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO BETO, JUAM AND MANUEL! Overall, this was an unforgettable excursion and a fantastic way to experience the history, culture, and natural beauty of the Yucatan. Highly recommended!
I had an amazing time. Rey and Jesus were great. I highly recommend this tour
Rey is the best tour director!!! The tour was super smooth and fun thanks to him.
Rodrigo, Frank, and Edwardo were amazing! I loved the history learned on this trip. Rodrigo really pours his heart into teaching you what he knows. The cenote and Mayan village were a real treat. Our only issue was the tour guides had to wait for people who were late getting back to the bus at the cenote and the town of Valladolid costing us almost an hour waiting. This was not the guides fault but we still lost time waiting on people. The lost time really cost us by the time we got to Chichen Itza. We didn’t have enough time there and it was closing before we could really explore it in its entirety. As this was the main point of the trip it was a big disappointment not to have more time there. I definitely recommend this trip but I would do the 5am pickup instead of the 8am just to ensure you have enough time before Chichen Itza closes.
Had the tour with Beto. He's fun and passionate. We love the experience of the tour! I'd also say 5am is a good time to start with day trip, coming back early enough for night life.
Pastor, Marcela and Enrique were amazing and took us for a great tour
Juan & Ramiro were amazing tour guides, very funny as well. Explained everything very well and very friendly. I would recommend
It's a great tour, although makes for a long day. Our tour guides, Juan and Rey, were excellent, funny, and very likeable. Our day started with pickup at 5am and we got back a little after 6pm. The cenote water was very cold but well worth getting in.
It was a fun and informative tour. Our tour guide, Paul, and the driver were absolutely amazing. I rated it 4 stars because we started late and didn’t have enough time to take photos at Chichen Itza, which was the main highlight of the tour. Just a heads up: don’t buy souvenirs at the cenote, as it’s a tourist trap. It is better to buy them (inside) Chichen Itza, where they are much cheaper, especially near closing time.
10 hours before the start of the tour, Amigo Tours changed tour from 5am to 8am. We specifically opted for the 5am tour to avoid crowds and heat. They failed to communicate properly the reason for this and didn't resolve our queries regarding the same. After a lot of miscommunication, the switched us back to 5am tour but made the tour 16 hours long instead of the standard 12 hour duration which meant it became a lot more tiring. They took an extraordinarily long route to get to Chichen Itza with multiple vehicle changes. They refused to address any of our queries and concerns and also refused a refund. We were not comfortable going with the updated itinerary yet they refused to help. They charge a heavy fee for the tour but fail to provide the promised experience. They didn't give us time to buy souvenirs or guide us for the same. They rushed the tour even after extending it to 16 hours.
A very cultural and enjoyable experience. An all day trip. Be prepared for a long day but totally worth it. The tour guide Ricardo and driver Manuel were a pleasure.
Nice trip I did it before 15 years ago and guide at the time way more knowledgeable about Chichén Itzá site and history. The Mayan cenote not the best- green water sinkhole style and changing rooms had no lights Lunch had little choice and poor service Best part was the tequila tasting
I wish we had more time in Chichén Itzá, as we were rushed through it at the end. We could have cut out both prior stops, as neither was necessary. The guides weren’t the most effective. The overall vibe was very touristy, in terms of many hawkers and pressures for tips.
Juan Victor and Enrique were excellent
Juan and Ramiro were great!!!
Great tour, amazing guides: Rodrigo, Manuel and Victor
Had the best tour guides! Very knowledgeable about every place we visited. Would highly recommend to anyone
The guide was super rude and just annoying, went on for over an hour talking about useless things that we didn't need, tried to be funny but instead was just annoying, plus he spoke more Spanish than English so I didn't understand much, and when I asked him what was the first activity he looked annoyed and signed but I told me I dont understand Spanish. He's rude and just plain annoying, im here to know what im doing and directions etc but I dont need a boring story of your life, shut up lol.
A truly outstanding experience! Victor and Rodrigo were exceptional guides who shared their knowledge with genuine passion and enthusiasm. Manuel was an excellent driver, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire 13-hour journey, which passed surprisingly quickly. The tour was incredibly well curated, with no frustrating tourist-trap shopping stops. Every part of the day felt purposeful and enjoyable. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Chichén Itzá.
Great experience to see Chichen Itza, a cenote and Valladolid! The guide Frank was very knowledgeable and the driver Jesus did a great job taking us to the places safely.
What a lovely day!! My guide, Ricardo, was fantastic and so intelligent and up to date on things! He was so kind and helpful. His partner Juan got us everywhere safely!! Amazing tour with history, sites, nature, and more. Bring backpack with drinks, sunscreen, extra clothes, a towel and tips!!!
Definitely something worth doing, it’s a full day trip so you will be exhausted by the end so I would recommend having a day after of doing nothing. Chichen Itza is a sight to behold, the Cenote is beautiful and refreshing. Valladolid isn’t anything to write home about and is less ancient and more just another town. Ramiro (tour guide) and Jesus (driver) were great, very insightful and humorous. The admission and life jackets can be bought day of and actually works out cheaper, the company will text you a lot the day before to pay in advance but don’t feel like you need to. One thing I would change is to split it up the Hotel Zone people and the Puerto Morelos people, the Morelos hotels are all really remote and drop off ends up taking hours going down these dirt roads to hotels in the middle of nowhere. Aside from that completing a 7th wonder is great achievement.
Paul and Emmanuel are the best They made sure we were safe Paul knew very well the maya and the chichen stories The cenote is beautiful 1000/10 i recommend guys
The tour guides were both amazing, and the activities were great. There could have been a little bit less talking at Chichen Itza and there could have been a better explanation of what to do at the cenote for people who were not swimming. We walked around and found some nice areas that they did not tell us about. It was over a 14 hour trip from when we got picked up at our hotel to drop off (5am - 7:30pm). Overall it was a great day!
Our tour of Chichen Itza and the cenote was a memorable experience, with a few areas for improvement. The pickup was delayed, and the overall tour lasted around 13 hours, making it a very long day. The cenote was absolutely amazing, with a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Learning about the history of Chichen Itza was fascinating, although the site was extremely crowded. The tequila tasting was a bit disappointing, as it felt more like a sales pitch than an actual tasting experience. The admission fees were also quite expensive, despite there being little to no wait time. The highlight of the tour was our guide, Kevin, who did an amazing job keeping everyone engaged and entertained throughout the day. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the experience much more enjoyable. Big kudos to Kevin! Overall, this tour is best suited for groups and those who don’t mind large crowds and a long day of sightseeing. Despite a few drawbacks, the cenote, the rich history of Chichen Itza, and Kevin’s excellent guidance made it a worthwhile experience.
