The turtle experience was great we saw multiple and they swam right next to us! Even though it was the rainy and seaweed season we were still able to go and the turtles could still be seen! The cenote was breathtaking but be prepared for the water to be cold but it’s manageable!! Overall a great experience and our guide was great and knowledgeable! Highly recommend

A great day out seeing the ancient Mayan ruins in Tulum and swimming with turtles. We saw many turtles and even a star fish! Manny, our tour guide, was super helpful and even helped us to pick up some bug spray to fight off the mosquitoes 😂 he stopped off for us to look for some Mexican snacks too. Overall a great experience, thank you!

This was the highlight of our trip! We traveled with kids 7,9 and 16 year old and our tour guides were amazing! He even recorded the experience for us! The caves and turtles are a once in a lifetime experience. Ask for Dennis and Daniel!

We had an amazing time with this experience. Our Driver and guide for the day was Manny. He picked us up from our hotel and took us straight over to the turtles. He explained the plan for the day in the car during the journey and provided water. The car was air-conditioned and journey was smooth. When we got to the first stop, we got changed and ready for swimming before meeting with the local guide who helped us with locating the turtles and being safe in the water. Manny also joined us for the swim. I am not the most confident swimmer and when I got tired, I was able to hold onto a float which the guide pulled me along on, making the experience more enjoyable and reducing my anxiety. We saw turtles, fishes and even a stingray! After the turtles, we showered and got back in the car to go to the cenote. Manny put towels down in the car so we did not need to change our swimming stuff as we would be wearing it again. At the cenote, Manny took us down into the underground area and gave us a swimming tour through the caves of the cenote. He provided us with torches and was very clear with his instructions whilst doing this, making sure we felt safe throughout the experience. At the end he gave us 20 mins of free time to explore the cenote and the village. There were toilets and changing facilities so we could get back into our dry clothes. We then got back in the car and started our return journey. We briefly stopped for a refreshment break on the way home but we were dropped off in time to have a late lunch at the hotel and enjoy the beach. Manny was very knowledgeable and his English was very good. He was good fun and made the experience memorable. He took photos throughout the day for us and sent them to me at the end of the day. I would recommend this experience. The turtles were definitely a good experience to do as a private group and meant we felt a little safer in the sea.

Dennis did a great job driving and got us home safe and sound and an hour early. Manny and Danny were great history buffs and tour guides. Our rave part was the turtles and the history lessons at the Mayan ruins at Tulum. 10/10 highly recommend!

Did I trip with guide Ivan family friendly and professional highly recommend 5 ⭐

We had a great day with Ivan checking out 2 different cenotes. We were supposed to swim with the turtles, but weather and strong currents prevented it. But regardless, we zip lined and cliff jumped at one Cenote and explored a cave in another. Ivan was super accommodating and knowledgeable and it was great to have a private tour with just us. He took pictures and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful morning with Julian our tour guide and Dennis our driver. The swimming with turtles was incredible and afterwards we swam in a cenote - we were the only people there! We did this trip as part of our honeymoon and during the cenote swim my husband lost his wedding ring - Julian to the rescue who jumped in and found it in less than 5 minutes! A true hero! Overall 5☆ from the booking process, pick up, tours, driver and drop off!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! It was an amazing experience from start to end, Manny was our guide and driver, he was waiting for us in the hotel lobby ready to get started bright and early, after checking we had everything we needed we were on our way! During the drive Manny was chatty and so friendly, his English was fantastic! I also really appreciated how he asked if we had any worries/phobias, being an anxious person it means a lot when somebody takes the time to ask, and after I had said I was worried Manny checked in with me many times to make sure I was ok and enjoying myself which honestly made the whole experience for me I don’t believe I would have been able to relax and enjoy myself if it wasn’t for him. It’s well worth booking this tour as we beat the crowds and got a personal once in a lifetime experience, shout out to Anna our local guide who was fantastic at finding the turtles and other things we saw while swimming she was amazing. We had the best experience! We ran across this company on Facebook. Booked directly with them a month in advance and Mike was super communicate and detailed with everything. We arrived in Mexico and they o liked us up right in the lobby. We had 2 tour guides which were great, made the environment fun and at both locations offered to take photos and videos of my husband and I which I didn’t expect to have. They made the whole experience from start to finish really fun for us. I highly recommend this company to book through when coming to Cancun.

Daniel and Dennis were INCREDIBLE! Dennis got us everywhere quickly and offered waters and bathroom breaks along the way. Daniel was an amazing guide. It’s clear how much respect he has for the area and the animals. Not only was he great with us adults, but he went out of his way to put my kids at ease (ages 19 months and 5 years). Within a few minutes they were excitedly spotting turtles, sting rays, and all types of fish. Seeing the beautiful turtles eating on the ocean floor and coming up for air was such a special experience. And then the cenote — WOW! Swimming through a dark tunnel could have been terrifying, but Daniel made it a peaceful and beautiful experience in nature. Highly recommend!

Daniel and Dennis were amazing guides! They made sure to attend to our every need. The van was comfortable and they provided water and a car seat. We loved swimming with the turtles! Be advised that you cannot wear sunscreen because the area is protected. We brought rash guards and that helped a lot! Daniel was great with the little kids and even had a tube he pulled them around with. He also took photos for us with an underwater camera they provided. The cenote was magical and Daniel gave us the option of going into the cave, which we did! You can tell how passionate the guides are about the wildlife and they were wonderful about accommodating our entire group.

We had a truly wonderful tour with Manny our guide and Dennis our driver! Our kids 10, 7, and 3 loved it. We saw lots of sea turtles and Manny was great with our 3yo who was unsure and she held onto a buoy happily and swam beside us. Our 10yo braved the dark cave cenote and feels very proud of herself. We all swam and basked in the magical ness of the cenote! Highly recommend manny and Dennis with tours with Mike!

Normally I don’t like to leave the resort, but I’m so glad we decided to take a day and go! Ivan is such a great guide. He’s super funny and kept us entertained the whole time! It was a great experience. I would definitely book with Tours with Mike again if we ever come back! Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing experience swimming with turtles and a private cenote tour. Manny was the best tour guide, photographer and driver. He made our experience so wonderful. He was so amazing with our kids and we felt so safe the entire time. He even took us to playa del Carmen to a local taco place and we had the most amazing lunch. We had the cenote all to ourselves for the first 45 minutes and it was the coolest most unique experience we've ever had. 10 stars for this experience and we highly recommend Manny. We had an amazing time swimming with the turtles and visiting the cenote. Our guide Manny was fab - he had lots of knowledge and was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. He got us to the bay early before it started to get busy which made the experience more special. He also took us to a Mexican restaurant for tacos which were incredible! Would absolutely recommend this trip.

This tour was nothing short of magical! I’m a bit of a hot mess, but our tour guide Ivan, made sure I didn’t jump in a cenote with my towel on, or leave my glasses on a bench. He was my guardian angel. We swam with turtles and manta rays, we floated and snorkeled at Nic-te-ha amongst lilies and the jungle. Worth EVERY Penny and More!!! HIGHLY recommend!!

We had an amazing day trip—Manny our guide did an absolutely fantastic job. We loved our time swimming cenote Taak Biha—lights went out it was magical. Kids loved the zip line and swimming with sea turtles. Phenomenal.

We used Tours with Mike on our first trip in Mexico. We've booked two deparate excursions and it did not disappoint! On the first trip we visited Chicen Itza, where our tourgide Manny showed us around and explained throughout the history and meaning of the site. We then went to open cenote, had wonderful swim and finished it up with gorgeous lunch in town. Manny and the driver were very knowledgeable and lovely to deal with. Second trip we went swimming with turtles and visited underground cenote. We had Daniel as our tour gide, who was very friendly, took his time, explained everything in such a detail. Phenomenal trip! Jessica was the most enthusiastic guide we have ever met. She has such a passion for the future of turtles, the environment and the wonderful cenotes in her country. We arrived for the swimming with turtles before the crowds and were almost alone with them. Saw lots of the beautiful creatures swimming around us and can honestly say it was one of the most moving things we have ever ever done. Then onto an underground cenote. Again we were alone with just Jessica and it was the most magical experience. Almost moved us to tears when we were in the quiet with Jessica softly talking about the history of cenotes. Would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks to Jessica for such an amazing morning, and thanks to Dennis for running around after us looking after all our belongings and driving us safely. We had an amazing time with Manny as our tour guide. The tour of the ruins of Tulum were so great, full of history and context on the Mayans. Next we visited a beautiful cenote and got to swim in the crystal clear water. It was cool and gorgeous. Lastly, we swam with the turtles and snorkeled off of a beach. We saw several turtles, sting rays and fish! It was awesome!

Our half day adventure with Manny (amazing English speaking skills) swimming with the tortugas 🤙🏼 and visiting the cenotes was AMAZING!!! Everything about it was perfect!! We got to see quite a few turtles, a few stinger rays, and small colourful fish around the reef. The Cenote was beyond magical!! Manny took a ton of photos for us and airdropped them before we were dropped off!! Thanks Manny for helping us make this special memory!! 5⭐️

What a great day. We had done a different tour with Tours with Mike earlier in the week and requested that we have Ivan again. Ivan made sure we got to the turtles early in the day as it was the best time to see them. Was he ever right saw loads of turtles, a stingray, and plenty of fish. By the time we were done, it was significantly more crowded than when we started. Following the turtles we got to the Cenote, also ahead of the crowds. Ivan made sure to give us the history behind these natural wonders and knowing we were very much into the tranquility of the caves, made sure not to rush us. If you have any ability to make sure that Ivan is your tour guide for any of the Tours with Mike, you won’t be disappointed. His knowledge and enthusiasm this area of his country did not go unnoticed.

We did the Coba, cenote and swimming with turtles tour with my husband, 9 year old and 4 year old. The day exceeded our expectations. Jessica is an awesome tour guide and is amazing with children! She was welcoming upon arrival, professional, personable, extremely informative, and answered all of the questions we had. Our group had the pleasure of doing a tour with Ivan the magnificent. We did swimming with the turtles then a visit to the cenote. I was a bit nervous as we have a pretty diverse group in age range..two young children (3&6) and adults (20’s & 40’s). He was so great with us all. Very patient with the kids and very interactive with everyone. The travel time was a perfect blend of answering our general questions about the area and fun banter. He fostered an amazing vibe and we all had a great day. No complaints!! We will definitely use Ivan in the future when we return to Mexico.
