Catamaran Cancun To Isla Mujeres Lunch Openbar And Snorkeling

I wouldn't bother. The prices are ridiculous for what you get. The food was horrible and served under trees that kept dropping debris. There was nothing to do on the island for 3–4 hours, and the tour guide kept adding extra charges for the most simple things - I have done many boat rides and never spent $120 or more which is what happened here

This has been my worst experience ever! Jam packed fishing boat. No space to sit, no nets, no sun tanning. I feel absolutely scammed with this experience and would not recommend to anyone looking for an experience other than sitting up shoulder to shoulder for an afternoon.

The snorkelling was excellent with lots of turtles on the way, fish and the coral reef. Guide looked after us all. Rain spoilt the stop at Isla Murgeres. Great 3 hours on the beach and party trip on the way home. Only issue:The sales team do a heavy sale on an upgrade to Platinum but did not deliver on the food and wine package on the island. Total rip off.

First of all let me say the guys on the boat were great! The representative that I spoke with needs to lean some major customer service!! We were never told what time to be in the Lobby for our pick up. When I called the day before I was told 9:15. That was not the case after calling because they never showed up the morning of I was told it was 7:10! When I talked with the representative she was very rude she cut me off. I have always used this company but I will never use them again!

You need to know that anyone over 56 will not be allowed to snorkel. This is not made clear in the blurb. This aside, the trip is good. The buffet was not up to much but the crew on the catamaran were great, and the drinks flowed.

Not an excursion, but a tourist trap. No fish in the water during snorkeling. The transportation driver on the way back was extremely rude.

I meant to write this review a while ago, this boat was jammed pack and chaotic! Though it listed a guided snorkeling tour that is not the case. A guides goes with but they will not allow you to have a float ring. If you are a bit worried they tell you not to get off the boat. Also with the amt of ppl snorkeling it became very hard for many to keep up. I do not advise for beginners. Other than that, lunch and the golf carts were fun. Of course expect them to sell you carts, cabanas, pics etc. Also no clue if they properly clean the snorkeling gear, so many people!!! Sooo packed, enjoyed the ride back though.

The rise in the catamaran was nice and the snoring experience was nice. Food at the buffet was not very good and not child friendly at all. Drinks were so so. We went to a private beach for 3hrs not terrible but it would have been nice to have the option to explore the island on our own not Just 1hr to explore on the north side of the beach.

FUN, FUN, FUN... RELAXING! Great crew, beautiful scenery. I highly recommend spending the little bit of $ to rent a golf cart when on the island. It enhances the experience a good deal.

We booked this tour thinking it was a snorkel tour with lunch included. Instead, we got a rushed guided snorkel break of maybe 30 minutes. Then we got back on the boat and headed to Isla Mujeres where we had lunch and waited on the beach for 3 hours. The beach we waited on was cloudy and shallow and was filled with seaweed. Not great for swimming. We were not allowed to leave this beach for the 3 hours. Then we got on the boat again to head to another beach on Isla Mujeres for 1 hour where we could also do some shopping. Then we headed home where the boat blasted music for people to dance. There was an open bar all day so people were drunk. Once we got back to the main land, they brought us back to our hotels. One lady in our car had been drinking all day and threw up all over the car. Save your money and do not book this tour.

We had originally booked 930. Our pickup time was 845. We changed to 12 and our pickup time was 1245 in my confirmation email. I called the day before and was reassured multiple times it was the correct time even though I thought it was wrong. We waited in the lobby from 1230 to 1250. 5 minutes after pickup time I called and they had in fact told us the wrong time and were unable to do anything except reschedule us for another day. We declined as we only had one day left here. Also the price is $50/person but you find out after booking that you have to pay another $40 a person the day of

I was called the day of event and was told they couldn’t go out. I wasn’t able to reach anyone to get refunded. I was told the weather was bad.

We booked this trip as a family because of the snorkeling. On board we were told that our 5-year old daughter was not allowed to participate under the age of 8 although she is a very good swimmer (bronze). Nobody indicated or informed us about that prior. She still had to pay the 40USD entrance fee to the Marine Park and no child reduction. We also had to pay a credit card fee for the 120 USD park fee that is not indicated in the trip description. The snorkeling is not worth the trip because it is a short dip. The rest involves only heavy drinking including people puking on the ship. Absolutely no environment for families and this should be indicated in the trip description. A waste of money.

My brother and I booked this catamaran. It was very well run and I always felt safe. When we snorkeled there was an employee in the water with us as well as a "safety" boat watching us. When we did the golf cart tour, we had on employee in the front and one in the back. I always felt well cared for and everything seemed very well organized! The whole crew was friendly! Daphne was amazing and so sweet. People were dancing and having a lot of fun on the way back to the dock. NOTE: we had to pay $40 dock fee...so it really is $77 ..but I thought i was worth it.

Had a fun day snorkelling, swimming and checking out the island. Only negative was an issue with pickup forcing us to go on the afternoon/evening tour which was fun but got back in the dark.

The boat ride to (and back) Isla Mujeres was really great and the crew super friendly. However, the service at the assigned restaurant was very poor. Since only one area was open, the lines were very long and the food was terrible.

Snorkeling was nice! Lots of fish. Catamaran was fun! Kayaking, paddle boarding, swinging in the water. Highly recommend

This excursion was definitely the highlight of my trip! The staff was amazing, the boat was amazing, the food was great, the beach club was beautiful! We upgraded to the VIP adults only package and it surely did not disappoint. You definitely get a lot more than what you’re paying for.

The catamaran is decent and there are plenty of beverages to fight the heat. Not much space though. They warn you to use biodegradable sunblock, which you can buy there: it won't protect you and you'll get burned. The snorkeling experience is ok, but don't expect to see big fish or big statues like at MUSA. The main goal of going to Isla Mujeres is the north side of the beach of Playa Norte, but if you want to go you'll only stay 30 minutes at the spot (you need to walk 10 minutes to get there and to go back to the dock). You can stay in the dock beach if you want, to make it 50 minutes. Nothing there is inckuded in the package. The second stop is at a small beach going south. There isn't much nice space to swim and the beach is not really nice. The beds and chair spots are worn-out and not clean. There is a constant bad smell, and there was only 1 toilet working in the men's restrooms. The buffet was ok, but the open bar is poor and not tasty. The boat was not back at the expected time so we had to wait in line on the dock under the burning sun. Guides are good and they explain you what you will expect so you don't have surprises. Bad experience with the dock fee: we were forced to pay 40 USD per person, where everyone was paying 20 USD. The explanation was that Viator arranges the fees. It was more expensive than the tour itself. It seems the lowered price offered is a bait to pay the ferry fees increased at the meeting point. Nothing extraordinary, just the experience of swimming at Playa Norte beach, at least for half an hour.

Didn’t get to go. We were sent to the wrong pick up point then at the entrance despite our booking confirmation we were told we had to pay another $120 on top of what we already paid

This trip was awesome. Went with my fiancée, and we ended up upgrading to the VIP boat ride for adults only which included drinks and good music. We got to snorkel, spent time exploring Isla Mujeres and enjoying the delicious food there as well. The hosts were super helpful and made sure we were safe and having a great time. 10/10 recommend! I will say be aware of the $40 cover charge per person upon arrival as well as any fees if you decide to upgrade to VIP like we did. Also bring reef safe sunscreen!

The crew is extremely friendly and accommodating. Though there is not much time for snorkeling, there was enough time to do a little exploring at each stop. The punctuality of other people will determine how much time you get at each destination, unfortunately. So, if there is someone lagging behind, they deduct time from the excursion instead of penalizing the person(s) holding everyone up. Plenty of alcohol is served and the catamaran is lively and fun for the most part. It will depend heavily on your group and how inebriated they get, I suppose. Overall, it was a great time and I am glad we had the experience.

We had such a fun day and our crew was amazing. Mosquito was a fantastic guide and made sure to repeat everything in English just for us! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because we had a considerable amount of trouble finding the correct location, and because Viator tried to exclude us from the lunch buffet, but Mosquito worked his magic to make everything work out perfectly for us. Overall, we had a great time and the Isla was a very cool experience.

Everyone was very nice, we really enjoyed the snorkeling and beach area. We got to shop and visit places in Isla Mujeres, and also got a great message.

The friendliness of the service was amazing, the places we visited were also excellent. We did the snorkeling experience and it was quite stressful, we weren’t given information or steps to do it correctly and more than one person noticed that they were also stressed about following the right group and not getting it wrong. Improving the selection of music along the way, music for travelers and controlling the volume, you will enjoy and listen to music that you always listen to in the city is not what you want when traveling.

Excellent experience that stayed with my family for a lifetime...!!! Very grateful to those who attended us...!!!

It was an excellent tour, beautiful landscapes over the catamaran to the island, the treatment was the best, the unforgettable experience, me and my family loved it, Isla Mujeres is a very paradise and beautiful place, it has incredible landscapes, we will return soon to Isla Mujeres.

The island and the view were wonderful. The snorkeling is a little short but you have seen a lot of fish. The crew was awesome.

The whole tour was great, the care of the whole team is their big difference. Everyone is very charismatic and attentive all the time. The Beach Club that is part of the tour is also excellent, great structure and a perfect beach. You can take the walk without fear that you will love.

I really loved my cruise, it was beautiful, the open bar was great. The mosquito guide knew how to entertain and he was very funny. I loved visiting Isla Mujeres.

Grateful and delighted we finished this experience. The crew is excellent! Jacinto the helmsman, Sergio the guide and Manuel the bartender are always ready. Very high quality-price ratio. For us it was the end of our stay and it was with a flourish.

To begin with, they schedule us at a certain time and we leave much later, and then on the island they want to leave us a few minutes late. The atmosphere in general was good but it is really an experience led by only 1 person who makes the “party” so in general the entire tour feels calmer. Being on the island they took us to the south instead of the north as stated in the description and the place we arrived at felt too cheap although the buffet lunch is very simple but delicious. Finally, the crew members took photos and video of the ride but from their personal devices (while the women danced), which they never shared with us by the way, and that made the tour feel unprofessional. In the end, the tour is not as economical as it seems (with the price shown) since they charge you more for “taxes” than other tours, so it works out almost the same as others that look better. It wasn't terrible but I wouldn't take this tour again nor would I recommend it.

The experience was very good, the truth is the service is very good. I highly recommend it, it's completely worth it.

By far the best option in quality and price. The beaches of Isla Mujeres were super beautiful, very clean, without sargassum. The staff on board the Catamaran were very attentive and helpful, looking for us to have a pleasant time, we had a lot of fun. We had an open bar on the Catamaran there and back and incredible views of the Caribbean, we took many photos. Definitely recommended!!!
