Cancun Taco Tour, Local Beer And Night Market With Transportation

We went to three different restaurants …… each serving a different taco variety. G was great about explaining the different meats and sauces. This was our second time taking this tour and we would do it again. We had churros at the night market while watching the salsa dancers.

Very fun and the guide was knowledgeable and very nice. The tacos and drinks were all very good. Would do again.

We had such a fun experience on our tour. Jorge was our tour guide and he was incredible! He was incredibly friendly and gave us tips on where else we can visit while in Cancun. It was like traveling with a friend. We really wanted an authentic Mexican experience and we got it. Make sure to bring cash if you want to tip him! He doesn't accept credit card payments.

We did this food tour on our first night in Cancun, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The food was incredible, and we loved it so much that we returned to several of the restaurants throughout our stay. The birria and al pastor were our favorites, and we left absolutely stuffed. It was a great value for the amount of food and drinks included, with a new local beer at each stop and some of the best tequila I’ve ever tried. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience so much fun. I would absolutely recommend this tour, especially if you want to discover authentic local spots and start your Cancun trip off right!

What a fantastic experience! Our Taco Food Tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, “G,” was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and made sure we had a wonderful time. He chose some fantastic restaurants that were clean, welcoming, and served delicious food! I would do this tour again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone. Jorge and Alex provided a great evening taco tour in downtown Cancun! We had 4 different tacos, 3 drinks, and ended the night with churros at the night market! Jorge was a wonderful host and knew all of the best spots around the city to go! All of the spots we visited were clean, delicious, and popular with the locals! We ended up being the only people on our tour, so had lots of time to talk to him about his background in the restaurant industry and the history of the city! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area and looking for a taste of local flavor and culture!

Great way to see a few off the beaten path local taco places. Don't be afraid to try something new either. Our guides Jorge and Angel were excellent and told us about the areas we were in. Do recommend.

We had a wonderful tour, it turned out to be a private tour with G and Angel as we were the only ones booked. We were taken to restaurants we would never of known existed. Tasted really lovely food and tried some local beers. Tour ran smoothly and was picked up on time In a very comfortable air conditioned van. Communication was good. We even had a tequila to taste., G’s knowledge and passion for median food was excellent. Really recommend this tour to have an authentic experience in Cancun.

This was a phenomenal tour. We had spent 10 days on our resort in Costa Mejeures, and we wanted something to get us into Cancun and experience local food and the city. Transportation - we were picked up by Alex - collected us from the hotel and we were then taken to our guide’s favourite food spots around the city. Our guide, Jorge, was kind, generous, informative, and loving in his reasons why we went to specific food spots. We were fortunate enough to be the only two people on the tour, and he made it feel personal and unique to us. Every one was unique and the food was INSANE! It has changed the way I see Mexican food as a British man!

The taco tour was a great experience overall. Excellent food and drinks at authentic restaurants, much better experience than the hotel zone. Our driver, Alex, got us to our destinations quickly and safely. Our guide, G, was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the specific offerings (tacos, drinks, sides, and sauces) at each restaurant. He also gave us some nice background information about the restaurants, Cancun, and life in Mexico. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get out of the hotel zone and experiencing something more authentic.

First, let me start by saying that our guide Jorge was incredible! He was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. He shared information about the food, culture, and history of Mexico. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work and wants to share that with you! It was lovely to meet him and I learned so much from him. Second, the food.. Wow. The menu was curated so other than the drinks, the food is chosen for you. This is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and try Authentic Mexican food! It was all amazing!! Every restaurant we went to was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the food came out very quickly. The variety was awesome. I will note that if you have allergies or food dislikes, Jorge does take note of that before the tour begins! Finally, the night market, was so beautiful! There was dancing, food, art, and souvenirs! It’s a great place to buy stuff to take home. Much cheaper and supports local artists! Be careful up upcharging though! I was told one price and then he upped it right before I paid, only $5 but still something to be cautious of. Other than that, I loved it!! It was very family friendly so we felt safe being out at night with our guide. Overall, I highly recommend this tour! If you want authentic Mexican and a look into some culture/history.. this is the tour for you! It also helps that our group was so much fun. Meeting new people is always enjoyable for me so this was especially nice.

The night market was a great way to wrap up the tour and an opportunity to buy local souvenirs. I highly recommend this tour!

This trip was so worth it! George was such a great guide. He recommended really good pairings. As someone who doesnt like beer, he made sure I got a great drink at each stop. Our group was small, but he made sure it felt like a party. I would book this again!!!

Angel and G were fantastic! Angel was a smooth operator of a driver getting us place to place without incident. G was in a class of his own with explanations, histories, stories, and charm. His insights to each place really made the tour come alive.

This is a great tour to get familiar with the town of Cancun. Our tour guide, G, gave us lots of info on the different kinds of tacos and local beers and drinks. And our driver, Angel, kept the van and more importantly the AC running at every stop while we indulged. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you love tacos!!!!

Fantastic trip through Cancun to try local taco's. Gets you out to see the city and try authentic hand made tacos. Sasha who was our cooking class instructor was also our tour guide for this. He is such an amazing person and great personality. Took us to 3 places for 4 tacos and explained what beer would be good for it, although we aren't beer drinkers my son was, he suggested other drinks too. In the end took us to a night market, got churros and told us where not to walk and let us freely explore and take pictures. Highly suggest if your a foodie like us.

The market was lively with dancing, music, food, and shopping! We were able to get nice authentic hand crafted souvenirs for reasonable prices.

It was just us, Sasha and Damien so it felt like we were having a night in the town with friends. It was very relaxed and fun and we loved being able to chat with Sasha about Mexico's history and culture. They arrived at our pickup location on time and the service was very efficient. We loved the tacos from Coapenitos and Carnes De La Torres. We finished the evening with Churros at the night market where locals hung out, ate food and danced to live music. It had a great vibe! G and Angel made our evening in Cancun truly unforgettable! They picked us up all the way in Punta Blanca, which we really appreciated since it meant we could relax and fully enjoy the night without worrying about driving back after eating and drinking. My partner and I ended up being the only guests on the tour, which made the whole experience feel incredibly personal—like we were out with friends of friends showing us their favorite spots around town. Every stop was charming and thoughtfully chosen, but one of the standout moments was tasting the tender, slow-cooked pork marinated in traditional Yucatecan pibil—absolutely incredible. The drinks and beer throughout the night were just as enjoyable, adding to the easygoing, festive vibe. The highlight, though, was ending the evening at the palapa park, surrounded by locals, wandering through the night market, and soaking in the energy of everyday life in central Cancun. It was exactly the kind of experience we hoped for—authentic, unexpected, and full of small moments we would have never found on our own.

What can I say. If you're on holiday and crave some real authentic Mexican food and matching beers this is for you. The food was to die for! G and Alex were our guides and they were both fantastic. G really pulls out all the stops to give you a great culinary experience in some of his favourite places. If you're reading this review, book up because you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I booked this tour and had an excellent experience. It was one of the few tours that offered pick up north of the hotel zone. Our driver was on time and our guide G was great. He was personable and provided good information on the food and some information on the area. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the market afterwards.

So much fun! We planned this tour for our first night—and first time—in Mexico, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The tacos, salsas, and beer were all incredible, each offering a different style. Learning about the cultural and regional differences made the experience both interactive and engaging. Sasha added a personal touch to every stop, which made everything feel even more authentic. It was just us and one other couple, and nothing ever felt rushed. If you’re more introverted or prefer a smaller, relaxed group, this setup is perfect! Sasha and Angel had us laughing the entire time. They really brought everyone together, and we had an unforgettable night.

We had a great experience. The tacos were delicious, and our guide Giran (G) was fantastic. We felt safe and comfortable the whole night. We started at 5:50, and were back at our hotel around 8:45.

I wouldn't recommend this excursion. The company never came to pick us up for it. We tried contacting multiple times and received no response. Very poor communication. Viator was great though working with us to get a refund.

I love taking food tours when going somewhere new. Food is history, and this tour did not disappoint. G was awesome. Not sure if the guy was a history major but the fun little historical facts were free flowing all night long! I even learned about the origin of the name Cid from a side story I mentioned while traveling in Spain years ago. The history lesson was a great addition, but the food was “¡Asombroso!” We went to three different restaurants with different types of tacos and finished it off at the downtown night market. Not sure if this only happens on Tuesdays but it was a great local experience—music, local vendors, little kids riding around on rented power-wheel cars in front of the first Catholic Church built in Cancun. Second Tacos and Beer tour. It was so great 2 years ago that we had to do it again…and it did not disappoint. G and Angel were excellent and entertaining hosts describing the tacos, cuisine, salsas and restaurants that we visited. Capped the evening with churros at a lively outdoor market packed with families enjoying a beautiful Saturday night. A great and safe way to enjoy the non-touristy parts of town. It was once again a highlight of our trip to Cancun. Highly recommended!!

Sasha, Alex, and G provided an excellent experience dining around town on various tacos and drinks. We were treated to 3 different locations and 5 different tacos. There were several different beers, tequila, mezcal, and even soft drinks. I particularly loved the 2nd stop - Sasha's favorite. I also enjoyed the non-alcoholic drinks like tamarind water, hibiscus tea, and horchata. The market tour was less than exciting and more like a way to use up 20 minutes but the popsicles afterwards were delicious.

Sasha and Alex gave us the most unforgettable taco tour in Cancun. From the very first stop, it felt like we weren’t just tasting tacos ;we were being invited into the heart of the city. Every spot was thoughtfully chosen, each taco better than the last, and the stories behind the food made it even more special. Their energy was warm, knowledgeable, and so genuine. They made us feel completely taken care of while still giving us an authentic local experience. We laughed, we learned, we ate way too much (in the best way), and we left feeling like we’d experienced Cancun in a way most visitors never do. If you’re thinking about booking, do it. It’s not just a tour. It’s a memory you’ll carry with you.
