Cancun Food Tour - Taco Attack: Street Food & Tequila Tasting

EXPERIENCE: 10/10 !!! I had the pleasure of doing my Tour with Antonio, and he was great! He was very knowledgeable on the culture and knew a lot of cool spots. I went solo, but he definitely made me feel comfortable and his vibe was truly amazing! Now let’s talk about the food and drinks: I had a few tacos along the way in a market area (SOOO YUMMY) and some tacos in a few restaurants (very authentic), had some eqsuite (delicious but spicy), and had some shots for the tequila tasting! I felt safe and was having fun in doing so, I would recommend to others and solo travelers!! Shoutouts to Antonio, he’s the BESTTTT !!!

Antonio was amazing! We had the best tacos at the coolest little spots. We never would have ordered the stuff he got us which made the experience that much better. He was a fun tour guide that became like a friend by the end. I would highly recommend this tour. Great food, great drinks and great friends. It’s a must do!!

I recently booked the "Taco Attack Street Food" tour, and it exceeded all expectations. Since this was my first food excursion, I wasn't sure what to expect and worried we might leave hungry. We were completely wrong. Saul and Antonio did an amazing job selecting the food stops and sharing fascinating facts about the local culture, food, and tequila. Every single taco was delicious! This has been one of the best tours I have ever booked. Thank you, Saul and Antonio, for an unforgettable experience!

We took our kids on this taco tour, and the 4 of us had a great time! Delicious tacos, including a couple kinds that we had not tried before!

We had a great time exploring the city’s local cuisine and experiencing Yucatán culture. Saúl was a great guide! Very knowledgeable about not just the food, but the history of the city, architecture, and ancestry. He would go out of his way to provide anything we requested and would say “for you to be happy is the most important thing”. There was never a second where we felt unsafe or uncomfortable. We even got to see a traditional dancing show performed by locals inside of Parque Las Palapas which was really cool! Come on an empty stomach and prepare to be STUFFED. We ate about 8 different foods plus had a few drinks. Tacos, esquites, churros, tostadas, margarita, fresh juice, and more! The camarondilla was our FAVORITE. Save room for the mezcal and tequila tasting at the end. Worth it!

Second year doing this taco tour and it was just as good as the first time. The tacos were delicious, the tequila and margaritas tastings were great, and everything was well organized. Our guide, Luis, is extraordinary. He is kind, friendly, and makes the experience fun and easy from start to finish. If you’re in Cancun and want a great food tour, this one with Luis is a solid choice!!!

And I can't forget to add the tequila tasting as well!! Be sure to bring finds cash or Cc to enjoy additional items during this tour like tarmanindo margarita at one of the stops called the Pescadito! I did this tour with my partner and it was amazing. The tour guides were so friendly, knowledgeable and were happy to answer any questions, we also had a laugh with them! The tacos were delicious and you get some many! You then have tequila tasting, margaritas and dessert. The value for money is so good! Would highly recommend!

Did our taco attack your with Saul the other day and it was absolutely incredible. Saul was really knowledgeable and super friendly. A genuinely nice person, you could really feel that the whole time. We had amazing tacos from a few different locations (which we wouldn’t have found without our guide) and great tequila and mescal. We were shown the real way to drink tequila to get the most out of the flavours. Six out of five stars for this tour, could not recommend more highly. Book this tour, not to be missed. Thank you Saul.

Saul was terrific. Great energy, full of local knowledge about the area the food and especially the tequila. A must do tour. Recommend for first day in Cancun. Saul will give you tips and ideas for the rest of you stay.

Absolutely a scam from the start to the end. They shuttle you into the "tequila tasting " and overload your senses and distract you from the fact that they're feeling $500.00 a bottle tequila with no returns. Then they take you to a taco place where the food makes taco bell seem amazing and have you wait 45 minutes for your tacos. The souvenir shop is smaller than a Walgreens and you have to spend 2 hours there. I ABSOLUTELY would not recommend this trip for anyone!

Great experience and the food was delicious. Saul met my group of 4, as we exited the uber enthusiastic, because we were running late from an previous excursion. Saul explained the group was further ahead and he would be our personal guide. We greatly appreciate his patience with us because we were moving slow and somewhat uninterested because we were tried. But we made it to 3 stops , and our bodies and mind gave up . But overall each stop was unique and Saul explained everything on how it was made and the origin . He was a great host for my exhausted group , we thanked him for his time and patience. So overall the tour was worth the experience , and he took plenty of pictures which we loved .

Lots and lots of great food, knowledgeable host, local scenery, tequila, and the best churros you will ever have. Saul is great and the tacos were amazing! Make sure you leave tip, he deserves it! Love the support of local businesses here.

The tequila tasting part of it was fun also, plus we have a couple other drinks that are included on the tour at some of the other stops. Had an awesome time eating tacos and learning a little history about downtown Cancun. Highly recommend if you are looking to eat what the locals eat.

This taco tour was awesome , we decided to skip the fancy dinner and try some local authentic tacos, it was the best decision we could have made ; alll the tacos were delicious ; saul picked us up in a very comfortable vehicle , provided with historical background information about the area and dropped us off in our hotel; he was great , super nice and professional ; we even had a tequila tasting and chorros for dessert; my suggestion is to come with a big appetite ; definitely doing it again on the next trip

AMAZING! Not only did the guys take us to places we would have never otherwise found, they also provided context/ backstory to each taco stop. So many interesting titbits of information about the origins of the cuisine! Every taco was different and full of flavour. I went solo on this trip as the rest of my travel party didn't fancy it - their loss! I felt completely safe throughout and enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you SO much for making the tour so memorable both!
