I had an amazing time on the catamaran tour! 🌊⛵ Everything was greatthe atmosphere, the beautiful views, and the whole experience. It was so much fun and definitely an experience I would do again.

Our adults-only catamaran experience was absolutely incredible! We had such a great time and really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially because we had the opportunity to meet other people, make new friends, and have a lot of fun together. We even connected so well with some of the people we met on board that we ended up making plans to go to Coco Bongo tonight. That really made the experience even more memorable! Everything was fantastic. The food was also one of the best buffets we tried during our trip to Mexico honestly, even better than the buffet at our hotel. If you are looking to have fun, meet people, enjoy great food, and have an unforgettable time, you definitely have to try this catamaran experience. Go for it — you won’t regret it!
Our family decided to book the catamaran tour with round-trip transportation, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. We chose to include transportation, and everything went smoothly. There were five of us, and although we were assigned a small van, it was comfortable enough for everyone. The driver arrived right on time, exactly as indicated in our confirmation message, and the ride to the marina was pleasant. Once we arrived, we completed the check-in process and paid the mandatory marina and marine conservation fees. The process was quick and well organized. Afterward, we were invited to relax in a shaded palapa where complimentary coffee, water, and juice were available while we waited to board the catamaran. It was a nice touch and made the short wait much more comfortable. From the moment we stepped on board, the crew made us feel welcome. The service throughout the day was outstanding. The open bar was included, offering cocktails, beer, and other beverages during the trip. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always making sure everyone was having a great time. After sailing across the beautiful Caribbean waters, we arrived at Isla Mujeres. We were taken to the dock before heading to the buffet lunch, which honestly surprised us. In my opinion, it was one of the best buffets I've had during my visits to Cancún. The food was fresh, flavorful, and offered plenty of variety. After lunch, we had free time to explore the island. You have the option of renting a golf cart for an additional cost if you'd like to discover more of Isla Mujeres on your own. We decided not to do that this time because we plan to return to the island in the future specifically to explore it by golf cart. Instead, we stayed at the beach club, and it turned out to be the perfect decision. Our children had a wonderful time playing on the beach while we relaxed, enjoyed another drink, and spent more quality time together. It was one of the most enjoyable parts of the day. The return sail was simply spectacular. Watching the sunset from the catamaran, with the Caribbean breeze and the beautiful colors reflecting on the water, was an unforgettable moment that made the experience even more special. A special thank you goes to our guide, **José**, whose professionalism, hospitality, and positive attitude made the trip even more enjoyable. He was attentive throughout the entire excursion and ensured that everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. Finally, I want to mention something that stood out to us during our trip to Mexico. Before traveling, we had heard many negative comments online, but our experience couldn't have been more different. Every tour we booked was well organized, the service was excellent, and everywhere we went, people were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I highly recommend this catamaran tour to anyone visiting Cancún. It's a perfect combination of sailing, beautiful scenery, delicious food, excellent service, and unforgettable family memories.
The excursion itself was a great time but a lot of the logistics were lacking. We had to pay a $50 fee per person for docking and conservation on top of the original $30 we paid to book. Then upon arrival we waited 45 minutes through the check in process after arriving an hour early, once checked in they rushed us to get on the boat and said it was waiting on us to leave. They told us about needing hats due to lack of shade/cover, towels because the risk of a rash from the salt water and sun, and a specific type of sunscreen to protect marine life. None of this was listed previously to our arrival but of course they had it available for purchase on site. The buffet was decent but only open for about an hour after docking. The guides were great, we did have a lot of fun once we got past the other stuff upon arrival.
Fun trip, great and friendly staff. If you do the family boat the time in the village seems short. But then the time at the private beach feels a little long. (About an hour at the village and 2 hours at the beach). The main thing that bummed me out was that we never actually sailed the boat, the captain said the sail was broken. I assume none of these boats actually sail, because we didn’t see any of them doing so. Snorkeling was about 15-20 minutes long, they guide you in a loop around some of the reef and fish. You wear a life jacket the whole time so it’s easy to swim the distance (maybe 300 yards). The guide doesn’t stop at any one point so be sure to look in the water the whole time. Drinks on the family package are sunny D, water, coke, “lagoon” vodka, beer, and some pink alcohol mixture (I think it was a rum mix). We aren’t drinkers so we didn’t drink the alcohol, but the water/sunny D were good. The coke was flat though. Food at the buffet reminded me of a middle school cafeteria, not that great, but you can’t expect too much for the price. The only food I recommend eating was the Mexican food and salsa. Keep in mind the buffet is open for only the first hour of the 2 hours you spend at the beach (the bar is open the whole time). The staff were fun and helpful, overall we enjoyed it and I recommend.
Upgraded to a less crowded catamaran. Captain was very informative and friendly. Open bar and the crew were outstanding. The trip to isla mujeres was fun and rented the golf cart.
Would not do this trip again. The port fee($50) is more than the catamaran trip itself. They’ll charge you to park(300 pesos) at the port. The snorkeling was underwhelming and you better be ready to swim 100 yards to and from the snorkeling. The food at the beach club was surprisingly good. The most beautiful water you’ll ever see. The guide, Flip, was the best part of the whole trip. Overall “meh” trip.
I was told transportation I called the day be sure 730 I got a message they weren't going to pick me up 2nd time my excursion was cancelled Not happy
This is literally a scam. Whatever you pay to get to the dock, the group has a plan to scam you to pay an additional $50 per person after your driver has left and you are stranded. It is a fear tactic I've run into before in other countries. Thankfully I am no small man and I was able to get my wife and I to safety. You will be detained. Be prepared if you go to understand Spanish and procure a safe exit. I AM NOT JOKING.
We were initially unsure about taking this tour because we had considered visiting the island on our own by ferry. However, we decided to give this tour a try, and we are glad we did. One of the highlights was definitely the open bar on board. Being able to enjoy drinks while taking in the beautiful scenery made the experience even more enjoyable. The snorkeling was very good as well, although I would have liked it to last a little longer. I also enjoyed the beach club, which was a great place to relax and enjoy the island atmosphere. The island tour itself was somewhat short, but it gave us a great overview of the destination. In fact, the tour inspired us to return to the island on our own the next day. It helped us discover interesting places to visit and gave us a better idea of where we wanted to spend more time exploring. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, well organized, and definitely worth it. If you are considering visiting the island, this tour is a great way to get acquainted with it and decide what you would like to explore further.
This tour is absolutely worth it because it has everything you could ask for. From visiting the underwater museum to exploring a beautiful island, every part of the experience was amazing. One of my favorite moments was driving around the island in the golf cart. It was so much fun and gave us the opportunity to discover the island at our own pace. Something I really want to highlight is the buffet. During my stay in the Riviera Maya, I tried several buffets, and many of them were quite average. However, this buffet was one of the best I had. The food was delicious, fresh, and offered a great variety of options. I would also like to thank my tour advisor, Maria, who was incredibly attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, we were unable to make it to our original reservation time, but thanks to her assistance, we did not lose our booking and were able to join the second schedule instead. I truly appreciate her support and excellent customer service. You are going to love this experience. It is something you simply have to live for yourself!
We chose this tour because some people who had taken it before recommended it to us, and we’re really glad we did. Our waiter was very attentive the whole time and kept us well taken care of with drinks—you can have as many as you like. The buffet food was excellent; compared to other places where I ate in Mexico, it was the best I tried, so I give them a 10 in that regard. The beach club was a bit underwhelming, especially the sand underwater where there’s seagrass, but it’s still a great place to relax.
As a family, we had an excellent day, especially since the weather was very favorable. In the previous days, the weather had been bad, and we heard that the activity had even been canceled. I recommend choosing the second time slot, as on the way back you’ll get to enjoy a spectacular sunset. What my family enjoyed the most was the beach clubthe food is of great quality, and my kids had a lot of fun with the beach equipment available for them to play with. The snorkeling was fantastic. I do feel that the tour could be a bit longer to explore more of the island, as it felt like a short visit. However, it’s still avery good tour, and the drinks are definitely included throughout the entire experience.
The applied additional charges not clearly detailed. They cancel activities with no refund. Drinks were watered.
The particular experience is not value for money Among the reasons are the exaggerated port authority docking fees, quality of food served at the beach club and unavailability of sun beds.
Bad experience mainly with transportation.
Do not fall for the upgrade, it does nothing for you. They charge an extra $40 USD and there was the same amount of people on our catamaran as the non upgraded people. Same buffet food. Different beach area that was nothing special in comparison to the regular rate. The catamaran and crew were good. The island was run down and the food was poor to fair at best. Birds landing on open containers of food. Only eat food that was covered at all times. The beach furniture was very rundown. No running water in one of the women's bathrooms. The snorkeling was a joke. It was 20 minutes tops, with little time to even enjoy the experience. It is easy to get separated from your group and they will leave you if you aren't back. The small beach area of this "private" beach was overcrowded as several catamaran companies use the same beach access. Just an FYI, the downtown area for shopping is very busy and if you plan on buying any souvenirs, with the little time provided to do so, it would be very difficult. Save your money and do a different excursion.
My wife and I took this tour in the adults-only version, and we are very happy with the service. They truly deliver what they promise. The best part is being on the boat; we believe some stops could be skipped so guests can spend more time sailing and enjoying the beautiful sea. Greetings.
Do not book this tour. Just don't. Very tiny club area to enjoy. Overbooked the golf carts and left us stranded. The catamaran got back to the dock and hour late so our transportation (THAT THEY BOOKED FOR US) didn't show because the company marked us as a no show because we were still on their catamaran. Crew was friendly enough but it ends there. This tour company is a mess, save yourself the stress.
Very overpriced and disappointing. Catch the ferry to the Island. Food on board was terrible. An open bar is great if you’re a drinker. Wish I’d have got the ferry over and had more time. The island is great but very busy.
Fun experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. They took care of everything. The lunch buffet was excellent. Golf cart around the Isla Mujeres was a blast.
The catamaran experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment we stepped onboard, it was all fun, good vibes, and a super friendly atmosphere. The service was top-notch attentive, kind, and always with a smile. My family and I had such a great time that we would definitely come back to enjoy this experience again. A perfect day in paradise! 🌴⛵😄
We really enjoyed the tour. Overall, the service was good, and the staff was very attentive at all times, especially when it came to drinks. The food wasn’t exactly the best, but it was fine. We booked the tour with transportation included, but we noticed it’s actually quite easy to get to the marina using public transportation.
Nice tour, we did the catamaran tour to isla Mujeres with this company and they did a great job We love the atmosphere during the day The food was ok The service was excellent The weather was nice Recommended
The catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres was amazing! Beautiful views, crystal-clear water, great music, and a super friendly crew. Perfect day on the sea—highly recommended!
Excellent service and attention, the best option I could have chosen. Super fun, respectful, and I'd love to return to them.
The tour was beautiful, but I paid a boarding fee of 105 dollars even with the tickets already purchased through TripAdvisor; I found it an abuse, the tour that was around 400 reais reached a thousand reais, and the guy who served us charged me a 5 dollar commission.
Excellent Care and Service, give a lot of security with your tours! 100% reliable, I will definitely re-engage your services.
Excellent service and attention. They were very punctual with the itinerary and you get what you hire. They were always available to solve my doubts and the very friendly, respectful and fun staff team, made the ride very enjoyable!
