They cancelled the night before, and it was too late to make other arrangements. I was really really disappointed. The only positive was that they refunded the cost quickly.

Being able to climb the steps of Ek Balam was wonderful. Not many options elsewhere to do this. The Cenote was beautiful. John and Omar were great guides, friendly and professional. A bit of humour mixed along with the history lessons.

En Ek Balam tienes la única estructura que se puede subir de todo Yucatan ya que en Chichén Itza ya no se puede subir al observatorio y en Cobá ya no se puede subir a la pirámide. Las ruinas de Ek Balam son pequeñas comparado con otros yacimientos, pero están muy bien, merece la pena visitarlo sobre todo por la subida al edificio principal. El cenote Chukum está súper bien, con una tirolina gratis incluida. La visita a Valladolid sólo fue de 30 minutos por libre sin guía, nos dejaron el la plaza central donde está la iglesia colonial
