When you arrive, you will fill a medical statement asking about your health conditions, then you will do two tank dives, first dive in MUSA Underwater Museum (8 mts / 27 ft) and second dive in Manchones reef (10 mts / 33 ft).: - Check in: 9:00 a.m. - Boat departure: 9:30 a.m. and returning to dock: Around 1:00 p.m. - IMPORTANT TO KNOW: - MUSA AREA IS MOSTLY FOR BEGINNERS, YOU MAY SCUBA DIVE WITH THEM - This price is only for CERTIFIED DIVERS, scuba certification card required (plastic, digital, picture, etc) - People with asthma, heart or brain problems, high blood pressure, lung lesions, organ transplant, diabetes, epilepsy, or any surgery less than 1 year, CAN NOT dive. - Keep in mind you need to rest between 18 - 24 hours after diving before take an airplane. - Bring towels, swimsuit and/or any other thing for your personal care that you think you are going to use. - Sunscreen/sunblock are not allowed for coral protection. - As the activity is from a boat, we suggest take anti-nauseas pills, 1 or 2 hours before getting on the boat for best effects.
We had a great experience with Marin and his crew, he made us feel very welcome and comfortable in the water, my fiancé was already certified and also complimented how thorough and correct our diving instructor was when giving advice and tips/tricks. I would recommend diving with this group to anyone and everyone no matter your experience level we had a blast!
Excellent experience! I’ve been a certified diver for many years with advanced certs, but my partner was a newbie so we opted for something easy for him. This was the perfect choice! There was an abundance of fish life, the team was professional, gear was nice and adequate, and because no dive was below 30 feet there was an abundance of color and no need for a safety stop. The guide, Lauren, was awesome. She took it slow and easy and easy and was so kind and helpful. It really boosted my partner’s confidence and ability. Highly recommend.
I have dived in a few places and this one is definitely a must do! Great place to see corals, a lot of different especies of fish a d Timoteo is a great dive master! He knows all the tricks there.
My twin 10 year old boys completed their open water coarse with Marin and had an amazing time on their certifying dives. Marin is an exceptional instructor with the right balance of kindness and discipline with kids. Marin and Carolina were very helpful the whole time. I had a few questions for them before arriving there and Carolina was very thorough in her replies. Marin was fun to hang out with and he knew the dive area super well to be able to show me hidden octopus and nurse sharks under ledges. There was an abundance of sea life and the MUSA was super cool to see!
Great quality equipment, well maintained, knowledgeable and efficient team, excellent dives, great experience. 2 of the most joyful, relaxing dives where I really felt it was relaxed enough to practice skills like buoyancy that you sometimes feel to rushed for. This was a fantastic dive. Martin was our dive master and he was one of the best I have ever dived with. As someone who only dives every couple of years, I really appreciated the time he spent prior to the dive to review safety, hand signals, etc. the experience itself exceeded my expectations (my last dive was in Cayman Islands so this says something). There were only 4 divers in our group with Martin. He did an excellent job of pointing out various sites including a 5 foot barracuda, an enormous eel, multiple lobsters, starfish, and more. The underwater museum was very interesting but the sea creatures were the real stars. A’HA and Martin are a top notch tour and I would dive again next time I am in Cancun.
Excellent dives. Marin was an attentive knowledgeable, kind and super helpful. He took us to spots on the reef where he knew there would be wildlife. Super safe dive too, never felt unsafe or in a dangerous situation. Dives themselves were great, good visibility, good water temp.
The whole crew were friendly and polite. This was an easy first real dive for my daughter and she got to see a shark too Lorena was a great guide and helped my daughter with anything she had questions about. Would definitely dive with these guys again.
Fantastic dive trip, esp for newly certified divers. Traveled with my husband and adult sons who only recently were certified. Felt very safe and well supervised on these 2 dives. Guide knew where the cool things to see could be found, also took great pictures for us to purchase. We had a really wonderful time.
We had an excellent time on this trip. We were all newly certified divers, but A'Ha Scuba Diving was very responsive to questions we had in advance and our instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful during the dive. Both dive sites were beautiful.
This was our first ocean scuba as certified divers. Dive 1 was at the Musea right off the coast of Isla Mujeres. This had some fun little man-Made structures and was only about 27 feet of depth so perfect for beginners or newly certified. We saw lobsters, a sting ray, and miscellaneous fish. Dive two was at the Manchones Reef which is about a 5 minute boat ride. This reef was teeming with fish and plant life. We saw a sea turtle and some barracudas. This was a lot more natural and was a very fun dive. A’ha was super easy to work with. Carolina organized everything and provided great communication regarding the itinerary. Marin was our dive leader and was clearly very experienced with the layout of these dive sites including pointing out interesting creatures. I highly recommend booking with A’ha.

I booked this SCUBA experience a few months ahead of my trip to Cancun. A few days before, I reached out to the company inquiring about transportation, as I was staying at the Catalonia Costa Mujeres and needed a ride to the SCUBA place. They informed me to provide my room number and to be ready at the lobby at 11:20am, and the scuba would start at 12:30pm. I was ready and waiting at 11:20am but the driver did not come until 12:00pm. He picked me up and drove me but we passed the original destination that the Viator listing had said to meet at, so I got worried. At this point it was 12:45pm and we were already past 12:30. Finally we made it to the drop off point at 12:55pm, and the boat was still waiting for me. There were 2 other couples and 1 solo diver like myself, and two instructors. I am a certified diver, the equipment they provided was good. The boat was a little small and we drove out 35 minutes. The water was great and warm and clear, we first dove to the underwater museum which matched the photos and my expectations. The second dive we swam with many fish and my instructor was great and even took my GoPro to film me swimming! Overall, I had a lot of fun minus the transportation timeliness. I did get a little dizzy and seasick on the boat ride back, but they provided some snacks and water. Was a good trip!
The dive instructor was so helpful and very knowledgeable! One of my favorite dives I’ve been on. The check-in process was easy and everyone acted professionally.
The timing was perfect! A late February dive when outdoor temperature was 78°F/25°C and the water temperature was ideal for a 3mm wetsuit. We were taken about 30 feet down and with turbidity of about 30 feet, this rich underwater world welcomed us with sights of coral, fish and an underwater museum of statues. Lorena was the an amazing dive master keeping the group calm and reassured. She was really well organized and provided a very enjoyable half day activity with 2 dives. At the risk of sounding like a commercial, if you are in the area, diving with A' HA' Scuba Diving is an absolute must!
It has been a long time since our last dive, but Lorena was exceptionally patient. She refreshed our skills and showed us the time of our lives. The Underwater Museum has been a bucket list item for us. The statues are vibrant with coral and many fish Thank you Lorena.
MUSA is really cool and AHA Scuba is the company to see it with! The statues were fascinating and what the ocean life is doing to them over time makes them even more amazing. Getting to see this with such friendly and responsive company was a gift! I would recommend this dive to anyone and will likely go back myself someday!

Very well-organized dive. I wanted to see the underwater museum, so I booked this short two-tank dive. They split the group of 13 between two DMs based on our experience. There was very little time between the two 50-minute dives. We had bottled water and a small snack after the second dive.
Absolutely perfect! Me and my girlfriend have recently done our Open Water certifications and we couldn't wait to dive somewhere as beautiful as Mexico (as we did our certification in UK where the waters are less..... beautiful and blue). From start to finish it was incredible. A'Ha really ensure that everyone has a great time. We turned up to the Real Inn hotel and walked through to the pool at the back and were greeted incredibly warmly by Carlos and Carolina. We spent a few minutes checking in and then got given the time to find the equipment that worked for us, everything was already setup so there was no time wasted on setting up our rigs, we got on the boat and everything was waiting for us ready to use. Carlos made sure that we had a mask that fit us both as we've both had problems in the past with masks not fitting properly when we did our Open Water in UK. They really made sure that we were comfortable with everything which really helped as it was both of our first times diving in the Ocean. We then got introduced to our dive guide Lorena who was also amazing. She was always smiling which made everyone feel good and happy and just made the dive that much better. Our first dive at the Musa museum went perfectly, there were no currents, the water was calm underneath. From our masks, integrated weight system in our BCD's, fins you can tell that A'HA wants to make sure that things are as pleasant and easy as possible to dive. We dived with Weight Belts in UK and I have to admit, I can never go back after trying the integrated weight BCD's :D Our second dive at Manchones reef was 2 mins away from the MUSA museum which was great as we were still in wet-suits and wanted to get back into the warm water as fast as possible. I loved the fact that there was no hanging around in the water waiting for others to get in, the second we got in, we descended to the bottom using the line which made the time underwater longer (which me and my girlfriend loved). The water was beautiful, the museum, the reef, the statues, the marine life, it was all stunning and we were sad when it was all over. If we come back to Cancun, we will 100% be diving with A'HA again as it was our highlight of our holiday (and we had an action packed holiday) and since I took my GoPro, I have videos and photos that will last a lifetime. Thanks to Carlos, Carolina, Lorena, you were all amazing.

Wonderful experience in general. Our instructor, Lorena, was awesome. She was very experienced, friendly, and kind. She took very good care of us from the beginning to end. The crew basically took care of all the equipments and we just needed to show up and enjoy the amazing marine life in MUSA. We will definitely reach out to Lorena and A'Ha for our next trip in Cancun.
Had an amazing dive with Lorena and her team. Carolina organized the tour and it was perfect! Great for both beginners and advanced divers. The museum and reef were everything I expected and more. Lorena was very attentive and gave me the confidence that I needed to become better diver. I had a terrific time. I frequent the Cancun area often and look forward to doing more dives with Carolina from A'HA' Scuba Diving and hope to have someone like Lorena back as my dive guide. I went solo but am confident to say the others on the tour had a fantastic time.
Absolutely amazing diving. Originally booked one day (two dives) at the MUSA site. The company was very professional and the kit was to a high standard. Enjoyed the dive so much, booked a wreck dive at Puerto Morelos. This is a must do. It was the best wreck dive I have done. Visibility was amazing and you can swim through the whole wreck. The company provided transportation to and from our hotel and where really helpful through out. I will definitely be using these guys again. Thank you for making my holiday even more amazing.

It was a choppy day, so the boat ride was a bit crazy. Be sure to take meds beforehand in case you get motion sickness. We were happy to tolerate it though if it meant that our dive wasn't cancelled! Once we arrived, the dives were great. We went to the underwater museum and a reef nearby. We loved that it was a very small group. We had 6 people and 2 guides which was so nice and relaxed. The dives were beautiful, we saw a lot of great wildlife and our guide was great.
Marin, our dive master was competent, relaxed and pointed out lots of sea life. Highly recommend this excursion!
Boat came and picked us up with no issues. Wish there was a bit more wildlife in the museum dive but overall a good trip. A’Ha scuba dive master was great. Second half at the reef was much better in my opinion. I’d recommend those wanting to see more fish to just double dive the reefs.
It was an absolutely wonderful experience. I hadn't been diving in quite a few years and Lorena was so kind and helpful with my refresher course. Once we got ready to dive, Marin explained that we were to be respectful of the exhibits and the animals. I was so happy to hear their sincere concern for the unbelievably gorgeous area. They double checked all the equipment before we got off the boat. Thier professionalism and enthusiasm were completely contagious. I had always wanted to see a turtle in the wild and now I've checked it off my list! We saw Tangs, Rays, Grey Angelfish, Lion fish, Lobsters, and even a spotted Moray Eel. The water was beautiful, the sea life was amazing, and the whole team were a delight to spend the afternoon with! I highly recommend Aha!!
I researched scuba diving in Mexico before I left the U.K. and as we were going in peak season, it was important to find the right company and book in advance. This was a really fun dive. The underwater monuments were really cool and the reef was great to see. The water was really clear and the diving was easy. The staff and the guides were really knowledgeable and helpful.
Friendly staff and amazing dives! Super easy and quick communication before and after dives. They had all the equipment we needed, set up included, and made sure we were comfortable. Water was warm enough that we didn't need wet suits. Our dive master, Marin, pointed out some awesome finds during the dives (crabs, sculptures, more!). They gave us water and snacks during the dives trip, which was appreciated. We will definitely dive with them again, and highly recommend diving MUSA and the reef!
It was fantastic first dive after certification. 30 ft is somehow less intimidating for these beginners. The MUSA was interesting, and a great first dive but I wouldn't do it again (but would recommend it for first time divers). The reef was amazing, and I can only imagine what better reefs are like. It was a great first diving experience.
Excellent service and guidance! I dove with my two sons (18 and 21 years old) and we did MUSA, Machones, ship wreck diving and reef diving (2 days, 4 dives). Marin and Carolina were amazing! They made space for us for a dive at MUSA at the last minute and made it so simple and easy and FUN. Marin is an amazing underwater tour guide and photographer. He even shared his fabulous photos and videos with us after which was an amazing extra bonus in their already affordable rate. (Photos are all his!) Marin really was a wonderful coach and support, who made me - as a very new diver - feel super comfortable and safe. I would not choose ANYONE else and will definitely be back if I dive in Cancun again!
Marin and Carolina went above and beyond to make our dives a highlight of our trip. They were communicative and clear about all the pre-trip arrangements and never put on unnecessary pressures. Marin is an excellent dive master. I felt totally confident with him, his equipment, and dive routes. It made us even more able to enjoy the breathtaking views. He freely shared some of his amazing stories from cave diving in the area and I learned alot from him all around. He's also an excellent photographer and sharing the photos with us at the end really added a surprise delight. I would recommend A'Ha to anyone coming this way.
