This is an amazing natural wonder! The waters are crystal clear, the fish swim right up to you and the river has a white sand bottom. The driving helmets are amazing! Worth every penny! No cheap but definitely worth it.

We had an amazing Tour Guide, Alfa, and his El Capitan, Alejandro.
Visiting Chichén Itzá was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Seeing the pyramids and ancient Mayan ruins in person was absolutely breathtaking. The history, architecture, and energy of the place are impossible to describe until you’re standing there yourself Xcaret was absolutely unforgettable! 🌴☀️ From the moment we arrived, everything felt magical. The park is incredibly beautiful, clean, and full of amazing experiences. The underground rivers were one of my favorite parts — so refreshing and unlike anything I’ve ever done before. The cultural shows at night were breathtaking and made me appreciate the history and traditions of Mexico even more.
it was amazing experience , If you don't like the feeling being unknown I don't reccomend it you will be most of the time under the CAVE
Visiting Xcaret Park was one of the highlights of our trip. At first, I thought it was quite expensive, but after experiencing everything it offers, it turned out to be excellent value for money. The variety of activities is incredible—we especially loved swimming in the underground river and snorkeling. The entire park is spotless, well-organized, and surprisingly spacious, with no long queues, which made the experience even more enjoyable. What really sets it apart is how it’s built into the natural environment, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout the day. A definite must when visiting Cancun. Tip: we stayed in Playacar and used taxis to get to and from the park, which was very convenient.
Everything was beautiful with the exception of the pictures. The pictures did not come out as I was thinking our faces were cut off in a few pictures. Other than that I got it. It’s a beautiful place to go to with family.
Great company to book through. They organized the Excursion, and transfers to and from our hotel. Seamless experience.
Our experience was Excelent on everything.
We went to Xplor park and the Chichen Itza Deluxe tours. Both were outstanding. Tour guides were excellent, transportation was safe and comfortable, food was good. Xplor park is a great adventure day!
Absolutely awesome, experience, free meals, free parks, free transportation berween parks, great service!staff everyone very polite. They simply need make map of hotels and parks available in printed map. Need quicker responses to emails inquiry! Clearer directions, sign to some restaurants, otherwise greatest trip!
I had the most amazing time in the all fun inclusive hotel Arte. The five parks I have visited left me with no words to describe what a paradise in earth. The beach with the turquese water. The variety of food in all the different restaurnts for tastes and cultures.
First, we want to recognise that infrastructure and customer service STAFF in general are exceptional. However, there are specific situations that affected our experience and that is why we want to record it. 1. Experience in Xel-Há - Photographs with dolphins When we arrived in Xel-Há, we wanted to buy only one water protector for our cell phones. At that time, we were offered a package of photographs because it is not allowed to use cell phones during the activity with the dolphins. At the end of the activity, we were informed that we had to pay an additional $170 USD for 10 photos, because in very small letters it was indicated that the package did not include photos of the activity with dolphins. This seemed to us to be a deception and an unclear practice for the visitor. 2. Membership presentation - Attention to problems in the room During our stay, we had problems with the toilet (it did not work) and the telephone, so we were isolated and had to use the public restroom. We understand that these things can happen. However, in expressing our complaint with Pablo, sales director, he commented that "if we were partners that would not happen.". We consider this comment to be inappropriate and contrary to good customer service. Fortunately, the assigned saleswoman handled the situation in the best way, but the discomfort was already generated. We hope that these situations can improve, because we really loved Mexico and would like to return in the future. Thank you
Definitely the most amazing thing we ever did! A couple of my friends got over with their fear of heights. Not only was this our first time here & group trip! We got to do a lot of things we never did before. There’s so many activities you could do. One of the days we spent like more than 12hrs. It felt like we still did not get to do everything. Not too mentioned the amazing choices of foods. It was so beautiful, exciting, & relaxing. Definitely want to do this again someday. The drivers who picked you from the hotel are so nice & funny. Definitely made the ride to our destination fun.
Best place in the world - you won’t find anywhere more beautiful than this - one day isn’t enough to fit it all in. This is my 2nd visit and I’ll definitely be back! I do feel scammed however, I booked official transportation and only when I was picked up by the coach was I told that return coaches were at 4PM or 21:40PM, we couldn’t stay until 21:40 as we really don’t like the night show, the park is open until 6:30pm however so I feel like we were robbed of 2 and a half hours and for such an expensive entry price - £517 for 2 tickets here and 2 tickets to Xel-ha park, they should let you stay for the full amount of time that the parks open
We had such a Great time, can’t wait to come back. Definitely Recommend! We went to 2’parks “Xplor” that was so much fun the name was just what we did , the next park was Xcaret Plus enjoyed it so much…..VIVA MEXICO 🇲🇽
The day trip was amazing. The staff were knowledgeable and patient . They were quite thoughtful in providing what we would need for the tour. From food to drinks, radio, waterbottle, umbrella amd we ended the day at an amazing Mexico restaurant buffet with so many options
As a couple who just wanted to take it easy and enjoy some stuff Xel-ha was the best. Xacart was great but wasnt very clear at first what to do but once we got the jist of the park it was great....follow the color lines of the ground helped
Amazing work of each staff member ❤️ Amazing views ❤️ Amazing courtesy ❤️ Amazing caring of the environment ❤️ Amazing Xcaret Community ❤️ Amazing natural beautiful designs ❤️ Amazing training to leave orderly every equipment & area in a neat fashion ❤️ Amazing integrated entertainment ❤️
This review is only for the Xplor part of the tour. We did not take a towel because it says towels are provided but they are not, so bring them with you! Also, if you choose zip lining activities, you are zip lining for 8 lines or 6 lines and you cannot stop until the end. The cave swim and exploration is cool, you are almost fully underwater for both. There are lockers and bathrooms but only in 1 central location so you have to come back each time. The food is okay. It wasn’t horrible or wonderful, just average, lots to choose from though. It is a full day of climbing and trekking around. You will be exhausted by the end. Locker area has showers and dressing areas. All in all 7out of 10.
Kevin is the ultimate guide you wanna have. We highly recommend his service for any adventure. His delivery of information kept you fully in tune. He was never boring as he was always in high spirit, he had charm, very professional, very informative and most importantly he kept you safe. If he had a chat show I would buy it. The whole adventure was amazing. The service was 10/10, the lunch buffet was excellent with a great selection
Xcaret Park exceeded all expectations! From underground rivers to cultural performances, every moment was captivating. Wildlife encounters, delicious dining, and a commitment to conservation made it a must-visit in Riviera Maya.
We spent a good time with our family and friends. This place has its own charm. It was an adventure. Everything was good. Recommend
Scheduled a visit for today 3/5/2024 with transportation. Woke up with Covid like symptoms. Decided that it was best not to go and possibly get others sick. Decided to contact the company and they did not care. Said that we were out of luck unless i had documentation. We explained that we were in a foreign country, stuck in a hotel room and do not speak the language to even know where to go. Still did not care. They would rather that i get on a full bus of people coughing and sneezing than a refund.
This trip was very important for us to celebrate our Birthday and our Anniversary.. We took the Tour to Chichen itza With an incredible Team by Jaime, Raul and Paola we were amazed for the great costumer service they provided during the whole day Also the Knowledge they shared with us it was Outstanding. We will recommend to make your Destination to Xcaret. By the way Paola we thank you for sharing with us your video that shows how much you really love what you Do.
Don’t use this service!!! This company is very good at pass the bucks! I wrote this review after I came back from Cancún so I can promise this is what happened! 1: Fake advertising. This is not a hotel pick up and drop off service, i booked an airbnb in Cancun and I got notified one day before leaving date that they don’t offer pick up at my airbnb location, I have to all to the closest meeting point to catch the bus to the park, which is make me so disappointed. 2: I booked the combo tour product, the first day is fine even though we need to walk to the meeting point, I mean, this is terrible bc they said it is hotel pick, but anyway we took it, we understand them. However, the second day, we are going to another place, and we arrived there before 6:55, but the tour guy is not there, I asked the staff there, they said the bus to my destination is not arrive yet, so we need to wait. Until around 7:10AM, another staff came here and told us the bus is leaving already. ? This is freaking ridiculous, I arrived there before 6:55 and didn’t catch the bus. I contacted customer service to get a refund, thankfully my friend took a video on site, I use it as the evidence but guess what? They didn’t take it as evidence bc the time stamp on the video is 7AM, dude, why we wanna take a video as the first reaction after arrive the meeting point? The first reaction of any normal people is finding the tour guy and bus, and this is exactly the reason why we realized need to take a video, it was 7AM instead of 6:55, they don’t take it as the evidence and don’t refund me, this is really pissed me off. 3: the customer service is horrible, I called 3 time for the refund, every times they just said they need to report this to the top/higher manager, and I only get the response that they cannot refund me bc the operator said we are no show, but I provided evidence, what else I need to do to make this stupid company trust me instead of operator on site? Anyway, this trip is so disappointed me and I will never use this company’s service ever again. For those friends who still even consider to buy the ticket in this company, DON’T DO IT!!!! DO JOT BUY ANY SERVICE IN THIS COMPANY!!!!
Very good experience and changed dates 24 hours before the trip and they were very helpful and accommodating . The only thing I would have liked was to have more time at the Cenote and Chichenitza to explore more.
Xcaret has been amazing! The workers are fantastic especially Carolina and my morning team! I will definitely be back!
Xcaret was on my bucketlist, but some local people here in Playa Del Carmen told me to get to Xel Ha too, because of the natural water and beauty. So we bought tickets for both the parks including transport from the hotel. First we went to Xel Ha, which is a great park if you love swimming, relaxing, unlimited food and snorkeling, to bad they didn’t have the photo pass system working. No problem, we brought a waterproof case for our phones and a gopro, the day was great, did so many things without paying for the extra activities. Which we believe is overpriced, the park entrence fees are allready high. Make sure you got the right sunscreen that has to be ocean save( not they checked it…) but you preserve a great peace of natural park with it. Saw so many people just using spray or other sunscreen which was not ocean save! Food is fine, you can choose so many, including the unlimited drinks. The next day we went to Xcaret, it was a short drive from our hotel, getting some explanation from the tour guide and she told us, that the photo pass isn’t working, really dissapointed this was told just as we went to the park! We didn’t bring a gopro with us, were going for the photo pass, there is nothing on their website or other ways to know that it is not working, they still make advertisements for the photo pass, so shame on you Xcaret! You should let people know in front of their day that it isn’t working inside. Luckily we did bring our waterproof cases, they sell them inside the stores, with some discount but they are so heavenly overpriced! We bought the plus admission which we really prevered to buy having some extras and lunch included. That was a great deal, food is really good. They say you have special lockerrooms for Plus admission, but everybody is walking in and out over there, so no checks or “exclusive” to plus. The same for the use of suncreen, just like Xel Ha. Still we had an great day, starting with one of the underground rivers, floating to the end, great sightseeing. Get changed to dry clothes, went to the aquarium, turtles, manatees. After that we had an great lunch with unlimited drinks. Relaxt a little bit, went to the bird aviary, butterflies and mayan village. All are really great and a must see! Learning some of the Mexican culture too. And at the end we went to The Xcaret Espectacular, a must see, had an great spot (went in 40 minutes before starting time) They put on a really incredible show, learning Mexican history in sports, singing and dancing. Thank you for giving us this great day, but still we are not satisfied with missing the photo pass and letting people know. And checking on sunscreen etc, it is your own rule for taking care of the nature…
Xcaret, where do I begin? From the moment I set foot in the place, it was clear that this wasn't the oasis it's made out to be. The sight of roaches scampering across the pathways and the omnipresent mold is not only a letdown but raises significant health concerns. It’s hard to believe one has to pay a premium for this “experience” when even the basics of cleanliness and hygiene seem too much to ask for. Moreover, the staff, rather than being the saving grace, only added to the disappointment with their unapologetic rudeness. And if you thought that was all, brace yourself for their relentless nickel-and-diming tactics. Everyone, regardless of how much they’ve paid or where they're from, is treated as if they're there to be milked of every last penny. A trip to Xcaret, instead of being a refreshing escape, felt like a descent into a decrepit kingdom where visitors are looked upon as mere peasants. Steer clear if you value your time, money, and sanity.
Xplor, Xei-hi, Xcartet and Tulum are a don't miss adventure. Xplor: adventure. Plenty of crazy and unexpected twist and turns. Xei-hi : Water Wold. Great on those days that are frequent here. Xcaret: culture fill. Great for history buffs. Tulum, I will choose over XICHEN. Alot more to view and do.
Xcaret is very good huge park, Very scenic wherever you go. Nice activities with lot of places to kick back and relax
Expensive and overrated. I seriously doubt the waters were clean, I smell ed sewage all throughout my river swim. Also over crowded in the river, people bumping into each other, very unpleasant. They should stagger the amount of people at the beginning of the river to avoid this. The lagoon in the beach area was green (I suspect it is algae but there’s no one around to ask) The beach is so small and overcrowded yet again. The food was meh! The rest of the park is interesting, The Aviary and the Butterfly enclosures is worth a visit. It’s a Mexican Disneyland, overpriced, overwhelming and fake. Save your money and visit Xel-ha for the swimming and the others for the thrills like Xplore.
I wish I could review these two experiences separately, as they would each receive a different rating. Xplor (5 / 5 stars) This place was one of the highlights of our trip. It is an excellent park with lots of very interesting things to do. There were different zip lines we could go on, Amphibious vehicles we could drive, and underground rivers and caverns we could both explore and swim through. It reminded me of what a lot of the U.S. theme parks try to look like (by making them out of plaster and styrofoam), but this was the real deal! A very cool experience that I would recommend. Plus, the food was very good. I very much enjoyed Xplor, it was great! Xel-Ha (2 / 5) The one thing I will upfront say about Xel-Ha is that it is designed to take your money. The whole place is so much about making money that it's almost insulting. Your entry fee is simply that: an entry fee. To do ANY of the things in the park that are actually worth doing, you have to book them, and pay hundreds of dollars more to be able to do them. All of the "free" experiences are pretty meager and not particularly exciting. Mostly just swimming and jumping in the water. There's some bikes you can ride, and a few small rope courses you can do over the water. There's also a very tall water slide, but neither of us enjoyed it as it just spun you in circles and then unexpectedly threw you under the water. We did the swim with dolphins tour, and even though we paid for pictures from the park, the pictures with dolphins were not included in that package. It was another $150 to get those. Secondly, so many things that we did with the dolphins were designed for a photo op, not a fun interaction. The experience was pretty cool, and we enjoyed it, but it was evident it was all set up to sell you the pictures package. The Snuba experience was pretty cool, but limited and short and left me wanting. That said, it was probably my favorite part of the whole day just because I'd never done it before. It's a bit light on things to see though. Mostly just the outer edge of a cave (you don't go in very far at all) and a few fish. Lastly, the all-you-can-drink bars are a bit of a joke and are meant to get you to give tips to the very "generous" servers, who are more than happy to throw in an extra shot or two. However, I've never had more watered down drinks in my life. I mix my own drinks both for myself and guests at my home, so I'm well versed in how much alcohol affects a person. If I poured anywhere near the volume of rum they put into my drink at Xel-Ha into a drink at home, I'd be well on my way to getting drunk. But after 3 - 4 mixed drinks, plus a beer, and a shot of tequila at Xel-Ha, and not even the slightest buzz... the alcohol in the bottles at the bar are mostly water. Xel-Ha frustrated me because it felt like it was all about getting more money from me, instead of offering a good time. By the time we were done, I was looking forward to leaving.
The tour was good but felt rushed, more time at Chichén Itzá would have been appreciated. At the restaurant they spill a drink on top of my partner. The English of the tour guides was a little rusty. The breakfast needs work, it was basically spam on a roll with a corn muffin and a school juice box.
A great experience. I would advise drink plenty of water and sunscreen. Decide on your excursion prior, it will save you time.
Wonderful experience!!!! From my 70 year old father to my 8 year old nephew and daughter, we had a trip of a lifetime. Will definitely come back! The hotel staff was wonderful and they are ALL super friendly and helpful. XCARET in general makes you proud of your roots and to be Mexican. Especially because the owner is the only Mexican owned hotel in the Yucatán.
Wonderful experience at Xcaret! My husband and I went for his birthday and we have no complaints! This was a wonderful excursion and we got to do a lot of things which included dolphin swimming, and the shows, they were amazing. We also had dinner at Fuego restaurant which was amazing, the food was a high-quality presentation and high-quality taste I would give it 10 stars if I could. This was a wonderful experience. I also wanted to thank Kenneth Aylett and Alexis from the concierge department and from Fuego restaurant, I want to thank Cheft David and Ernesto MIL GRACIAS! :) Definitely going back soon :)
I purchased this package for a trip with my girlfriend with much hesitation, it was a last minute trip and we only had 2 weeks to plan., I wasn’t sure what I was going to get. I will tell u, this package was worth every penny. I would advise, taking a day off between visiting both places, which we did. The trip was well organized. Food was good. I had a blast at Xcaret and then at the cenotes and Chichen Itza. We stayed at akumal so we visited the town of tulum and the beaches on our own the day after which I highly recommend as well. 🙂
Please do not buy a travel voucher from them. Its a fraud scheme. They will lure you into buying their product, claim there are no date restrictions and eventually make a fool of you. Customer support dont respond to email, on phone they say they will investigate but never get back.
This review is on behalf of the XCARET shuttle team. This is our first time to Cancun. We are excited and also celebrating my birthday (today). We waited over 30 minutes in the lobby and called them to ensure our shuttle had arrived. After some time on hold, Raymond Ramos told us a shutttle had already passed. We were confused as it had stated it passed during the time we were sitting outside. He said we had to get our own transportation and switch days. I let him know that today is my birthday, and that now we were not only going to be late but that we had to pay extra on top of our $500 package that we purchased through the company. I am very disappointed is XCARET and their poor hospitality. The front desk let us know this is common with XCARET and that it has happened to several clients who have stayed there. They did not apologize and refused to take any accountability for the situation. Overall, I am very disappointed. Surely we will enjoy the rest of our day there but be wary of this company and their shuttle service.
In short, everything was incredible! The attention was very cordial and classy. There are so many details very well achieved that there are many things to say. The food is exquisite, all the amenities and services. The setting is unforgettable, we take a very pleasant memory of the place. We are fascinated!
don’t waste your money it’s a scam. I thought I would have to sell my house to pay for everything in the park the worst day of our lives. We got a ticket on there website and we were told it included everything when we got to the park most of the good activities you have to pay extra. extra would be okay but between $100-$300 also we were told there was unlimited food but of course not only one buffet . and to make it worse $40 for one feature digital 😂 to take it was expensive to start off with not to mind doing all the other activities when you get in. And you’re not allowed to bring your phone In when you’re doing the dolphin and the sharks so you will have to buy pictures from them. You even have to pay for a towel. I am amazed we were not charged for using the toilet 🚽. This might be an idea for the owner lol. But seriously guys stay away your money would be better spent at xplor that was well worth the money 💴.
The food was delicious, the people so attentive and always going above and beyond. Santiago Villasenor was awesome.❤️.
My wife and I went to XCARET and XPLOR, we had a great time zip lining, riding vehicles, Exploring the underground case walking and swimming in the water very refreshing
My family and I bought a package to Xcaret and Xplor. Xcaret is always the greatest experience. But today in Xplor apparently in fine print somewhere on your website and Xplor it states a person with diabetes cannot ride any of the attractions. Something that was not clearly explained to me. I checked in but we wasted a whole day without enjoying ourselves and fighting with my family members. We could not go back to our hotel as my transportation was the bus ride. I was not about to pay a taxi out of our pocket when I had already paid for this trip. It is not s cheap package. I demand our money back for all of the inconvenience. I picked Xplor as it is an attraction we have never done. It was horrible. I cried most of the day due to my disappointment and undue stress it caused my family and I. They also missed out bevause they didn’t want to leave me behind. Names are Nora Angel, Dinora Angel and Liseth Plaza.
We had a fabulous time at Chichen Itza and Xcaret Park. The adventures at Xcaret were our favorite. The Sea Trek adventure is a must do. We also enjoyed the Rivers Tours and visiting the exotic animals. The buffet lunch was plentiful and delicious. We were happy that there was an option for a 4:30 p.m. return. 9:30 p.m. would have been much too long.
The dolphins were fantastic and the food was great! Would definitely recommend this trip to any visitors.
Xcaret - made us feel sad as the animals are in captivity. Seems as though all birds have their wings clipped and are kept in cages. They told us different but you can clearly see they are clipped. The dolphins are kept in a small space and are apparently all bread there but one is rescued. They wouldn’t admit if any were captured and avoided the question. It’s just like a zoo but for sea life. If you want to see sea life then go on a boat tour and see them in the wild and not here. It’s very easy to find these sort of tours and can even see whale sharks and manta rays on boat tours. Xplor - LOVED IT, so fun just make sure you’re not too scared of heights or challenge yourself and face your fears! 100% recommend for thrill seekers and adventure lovers. Xenses - super chill and cool. Lots to see however if you’re afraid of the unknown or the dark do not go through the 10 minute dark tunnel. The staff may tell you it’s not dark but IT IS. I had a panic attack in there and they made me go in on my own when I see others go in in couples. Xitchen Itza - I would definitely recommend hiring a car and doing this yourself it’ll cost the same amount. We were out for 12 hours and most of this was travelling and waiting around. Amazing thing to see but don’t book the tour through Xcaret, do it off your own back. We were so fed up and knackered just to see the temple for 20 minutes.
Cayuco restaurant was great! Roberto was the best! Made everything about it great! Would 100% recommend staying here and eat here often!
Amazing place , can’t wait to return, one of the most beautiful and awesome parks ever visited, you have to plan two day to visits the full place, don’t miss the nocturnal show , is something out of this world
