Xbalamque Hotel

This hotel management asked me to email them to discuss about why they charged me extra money and I have never heard back from them. This is just ridiculous at this point. I want my money back. They have charged me extra almost 500 pesos on the first day and I had to change room three times during my stay because this hotel is just beyond terrible (read my previous review La Land). I eventually left the hotel one night before because it was impossible to stay there. The staff was sooo rude she made me go upstairs to bring her remote controls with all my heavy luggage. I have never had this much horrible customer service experience in anywhere else in the world. The hotel is dirty, noisy , shower is broken, no water, no wifi. It’s just impossible to stay. You can get better service and sleep at a bunker hostel at this price. Jesus Christ

I wish I could give zero stars. I changed rooms 3 times since day 1. The unbearable louddd noises everywhere 24x7 specially at night in no way let people sleep. The shower had barely any water coming. The cleaning man was cleaning rooms with his music on that you can hear from 1 mile away like he has no regard for his guests. I told him to put volume down . He stopped for 10 minutes and then went back. The nearby karaoke, parties kept going on all night long and it’s so LOUD that in no human being can actually sleep without pills here. I have changed rooms 3 times since day for because no wifi, unbearable loud noises etc and give up. Packing and unpacking several times- this has been too much. Anddd to make it worse they charged me extra almost 500 pesos that I originally booked from booking.com. When i asked the staff why is that? The staff gave literally NO explanation and acted like it is mandatory. She also started pretending that she didn’t know how to say in English. The wifi is terrible and I needed to work with the internet. I ended up getting internet access by myself from somewhere else. Shower had barely any water.

We arrived at the hotel at 4:30 in the morning from he airport after a very long and tiring journey. I was feeling ill and I started to have fever 38 degrees. We told the guy that we will pay for one night for now because I must rest. I also had problems with my bowel and I had to use the bathroom. He did not let me use it unless we paid for 2 nights!! THE GUY WANTED US TO PAY FOR 2 NIGHTS because we arrived on the 7th in the morning and he said that it is still the night of the 6th...and he wanted us to pay and at the end he made us pay a fee for an extra couple of hours which was unacceptable but I was sick and I had to rest. The room was disgusting and dirty. The shower was with low pressure. I asked for a plate so I can use and a folk and I wanted to cut some tomatoes abd the guy brought me one and then took it away very aggressively that I cannot use it outside. The location is in the center of the city and it's horrible location it's old. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They made us pay for an extra night because we arrived in 6:00 am. The reception staff were not friendly and were not helpful at all. This was one of the most unpleasant places I have ever stayed. Everything is old and smells bad. The whole place has an uncomfortable and unpleasant atmosphere.
