This hotel is perfect to travel with toddlers or little kids since it is small. The food in the buffet is pretty great, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is very accommodating and would voluntarily help us clean our baby’s silicone plate and bib and her cutlery. Very toddler friendly I would say. Would definitely come back.
We had a great experience! The receptionist Romi presented us with an upgrade promotion to their Grand Master suite with the ocean view. That was the biggest highlight of the trip as we got access to the VIP lounge. Other notable employees that were super helpful: Armando (lounge staff), Ivan (gym trainer), Mariana and Leticia (Massage therapists). I would highly recommend doing the 7:30am Yoga class with Ivan. Overall, our vacation was well spent!
We stayed for 1 week in July. From the time we arrived Romi at the front desk greated us and offered us a room upgrade. There are variety of restaurants and the staff at La Ventanas was terrific. Miguel was awesome. He was kind, helpful and made sure to speak with us whenever we frequented the restaurant. The resort has a large number of families staying so if you are looking for a quiet vacation, this may not be a location for you but the beach and the staff more than make up for any negatives.
We booked the first nights in this all inclusive hotel to relax after a long flight. If you are looking for a relaxing place and quiet, this is not the place to go. The hotel does everything to entertain the guests at the pool and in the evening with karaoke at the bar and shows. It is nice if you are looking for activities but it can also be quite noisy all the time if you want quietness. There is only 1 pool for all ages (and a pool for kids), and the pool gets crowded quite easy. The nicer cabanas around the pool go for an extra charge of 85usd, which i find a lot considering you already paid to be there and assumed it is all in. The food is good, depends on what you take. We loved the food stands around the pool at lunch time where you can grab some tacos or grilled chicken. Also loved the gym, large and clean. And the free candy shop with ice cream is a lot of fun for kids.
What a wonderful experience. We traveled with small kids and the staff catered for all of us. Special thanks to Chef Limber, Victor, Eduardo, Jose and the hostesses for going out of their way to cater to our halal requirements and often preparing separate, delicious meals just for us. The hotel itself was amazing and we have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. If we ever return to Cancun, we would definitely be staying at Sunscape again
