Occidental Costa Cancun

Me and my family had a great time here! We enjoyed the food in the buffet and in the restaurants, it exceeded expectations on both quality and variety. We may have gained a few pounds over the week! The drinks were good too, especially the piña colada and the mezcalita. The resort is clean and well maintained, and the staff is warm and friendly. The entertainment staff especially kept us in good spirits.. Jessica, Amairany, and Alexa were around every day with games and bracelets and good vibes. They kept the place fun and friendly! Finally the nightly entertainment was excellent as well, we especially enjoyed the circus show and the Mexican dancers, highly talented performances! Overall for the price this place was way above our expectations.

I was SO disappointed in this resort! The place is run down. The entertainment was hit or miss….the schedule was never followed. And the food was subpar. I will say the workers were SO very nice!! And the service was great! That’s the only reason for the extra star. You can see from the pictures that the location. Isn’t great. You can only see building and you never get the true ocean waves unless a boat comes by. Looking out of the fitness room was a bit scary too. We made the best of it but it was my sons first all inclusive and I hope it won’t be his last since it was wasn’t great.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are looking for a resort with a long white sandy beach, then this review may not be for you. However, if you want to know what makes Occidental Costa Cancún a great place to stay, keep reading. One of the things I appreciated most was their flexibility with arrival and departure times. We arrived early in the morning, well before the official check-in time. Instead of waiting around, the resort gave us full access to all the facilities. Since we had booked the all-inclusive package, we were able to enjoy the restaurants, pools, beach area, drinks, and all other amenities while waiting for our room to be ready at 3:00 PM. The same excellent service applied on our departure day. Although we had to check out of our room at 11:00 AM, we were allowed to continue using the all-inclusive facilities until 2:00 PM. After that, we could still stay and enjoy the resort’s common areas until our late flight, which made our last day much more comfortable and stress-free. The resort itself was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety and quality that often felt more like dining in a good restaurant than a typical all-inclusive buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The excellent service, flexibility, cleanliness, food quality, and welcoming atmosphere made this a great vacation experience. I would definitely recommend Occidental Costa Cancún to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Cancún.

Every body was very pleasant and attentive. Juanita was very sweet and cordial. We also like to comment the Michael Jackson staff, they were very good, professional and entertaining. Please also give our best regards to the piano players and the Lady that sang Selenena songs. They all have been very good. Thank you to all for a very pleasant and enjoyable vacation.
