I booked my vacation via delta vacations as I’ve done for the last 15 years. So, that part was seamless! We booked preferred club and traveled delta comfort. So all was good there. We even had transportation by ourselves to and from the resort which was great!! To and from the resort was only about 15-20 minutes so relatively quick, also great! Once we arrived to the resort it was fine. We were taking to the preferred lounge where drinks and food was and of course also where we were checked in. It did not take long there were a couple fees but nothing crazy maybe like $20 then of course the hotel coverage which was release immediately after checkout. I love the new style of bands vs, key card so that was also a plus! We booked an oceanfront king size room. We were escorted to our room and soon as we walked to the door we could see maintenance painting the room next to us. Once we enter the room, we could smell paint almost instantaneously. Prior to the Bels Man walking out of our room we informed him that the smell was overbearing and causing both of us to feel nauseous. So he sent up the house hospitality in which they sprayed the room with some spray that also became overbearing and added with the paint fumes, made it incredibly impossible for us to stay in that room. So we left the room and went back down to the preferred lounge and spoke with a rep and informed her that the room was unbearable and we would need to be moved to another room. She proceeded to look in the system and was unable to identify a room that we can move into that day. Of course that caused me to become frustrated, but I explained to her that we needed to be moved, and it needed to happen today because the smell was just too overbearing. So she continued to look and did not find anything and proceeded to state that if we wanted, we could go and have something to eat and she’ll find something. I decided that I did not want to leave and wanted to remain so that we could get the correct room. So she was only able to identify a queen room with two beds that was not oceanfront. She explained that they did not have the same caliber of room that I originally booked, and this was the best option, but another room oceanfront king bed will be available the following day we decided to move into the two queen bed room which the room was fine however it was not oceanfront, and it was not the king size bed. So that was problematic. However the rooms were OK. I do not believe that it was worth the cost and there is no need for oceanfront if the water is not blue. So that leads me to the next thing. Once we got settled in, we walked to the beach and realize that it was not assumable beach. There was seaweed everywhere and the ocean was very dark. So with the preferred club, you also had access to preferred restaurants that were on the adult side. The restaurants at this hotel was subpar at best. It was incredibly challenging to get reservations at the restaurant of your choice which caused us to have to make reservations at restaurants. We did not want to make reservation reservations at. The food was not good it was mid maybe. Honestly had nothing I enjoyed. Overall, this resort I will give it a three star. I would not stay at this resort again. The staff were all very friendly. The people at the resort were all extremely friendly, accommodating, and nice. Oh also, for the resort, please get rid of the random stray sick looking dogs on the property. I’ve never and all of my years of traveling two resorts have experienced stray dogs on the property. And I am a dog lover and a dog owner.

I would have given 5 stars if they priority was guest satisfaction and not upselling and trying to get you to "sign up" to Prime (which is not a good product, read the reviews, AI it). You travel for hours, you then take transportation to get to the hotel, you are tired but happy that you finally can rest and enjoy the rest of your day after checking in, just to be handled to a hard selling pitch right there and then, even before getting to your room. They give you a voucher to be exchanged for a coupon book that will give you spotty discounts, but only after you accept to hear an even harder pitch about their Prime thing. My recommendation is that you don't bother with the voucher or the coupons. They are not worth it. The employees are very nice and congenial, our butlers were very nice and helpful, in general the restaurants were very good, and the entertainment program was also very good, but the obsession on upselling is frustrating. We got sales pitches during a spa session, while resting at the beach (which is no good for swimming due to a horrible sargassum infestation), while at the pool, while walking at the main lobby areas, while going to the restaurants at night, and even right after our check-out! It's a well maintained property, with a great spa (pricier than all the others we have been at, including high class Marriott), great restaurants, safe, well located, with great service. It was curious to have the company of stray dogs at the Hideaway pool surrounding the Ocean point restaurant. They drink the pool water and lay on the pool chairs. Based on that, I certainly recommend it, but I also recommend they change they over aggressive selling approach, so their guests can enjoy all those things without the need to say no 10 times per day.
Rubi with Vibe team is excellent. She is so helpful & always friendly. She makes the activies so fun & has such a sweet disposition. Our Butler Allan was wonderful. He was always so attentive & responded quickly to all our requests. He went above & beyond to make our stay incredible. The rooms were large & clean. We loved Diamond Club & well worth the money.
The entire staff was absolutely amazing, but I feel the need to give a shout to some of the people that helped make our vacation special! - Rangel and Jocelyn went above and beyond as butlers to anticipate our needs and proactively make reservations and check in on us 💝 - Ezequiel was our go to on the vibe team… the guacamole was amazing (with the help of chef chino 😜) and he made our days full of fun and unique activities - Gorge in the fit club put me through the BEST spin class!! Overall I can say without a doubt this staff made our vacation one of the most memorable and we appreciate them so much for it!!
Honestly, for the price I would not recommend this property. And let’s be clear I am not a budget Traveler, I am Diamond with Delta & Hilton and a million miler. I travel a LOT and do not stay at cheap properties. That being said, the only restaurant service that was good was the steakhouse. The food however was really poor at every single restaurant. I cannot imagine paying for $150 “upgrade” steak when they can’t correctly cook brisket - a.k.a beef jerky at this place. While the staff was very friendly the pace was horrible. Two hours for a piece of cheesecake and chicken strips, at which time I just left the room because I was not going to wait any longer… The facilities are clean, the air conditioning practically non existent. The restaurants, the rooms, none of them had very good working ac. Let’s talk about the pools… all of them close at 7… long before sunset even.. what is the point.. when your spending $400/night you expect good service and to be able to use the damn pool. God forbid you want a reasonable price on a bottle of water… $13 for a 20 ounce bottle of water… insane… I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton for less money and better priced basics. If you choose to stay here, prepare to be hot, and prepare to drive 5 min down the road to buy bottles of water for $1 .. Don’t be fooled by Adults Only. The property is shared, so while there are “adults only” areas, the family’s roam freely with their screaming kids. If I wanted a loud stroller filled experience I would have stayed at Nickelodeon resort, I chose the Adults only for a reason… I have nothing against families taking their kids on vacation, if I was staying at a family friendly resort you would not hear me complain about this, but this was priced and marketed as adults only.
