This place is truly a gem!!! My family and I usually vacation at the Finest in Punta Cana but I think we now have found our favorite. This place is incredible, it is so well maintained, it is so clean, and the service and food is on another level. We encountered a minor issue that was completely out of the resorts control and before saying anything the manager "Dalel" was so proactive and made things right. It was out of a movie, it's like she read our minds. We will never forget this moment and this is exactly why we will be coming back to this resort. Besides Dalel, I have to mention Ricardo from the Finest beach he was so nice and helped us immensely, Roman from the tropical fruit bar was so courteous and friendly and kept those coconut water's flowing, and Itzel from the coffee shop was so nice to our daughter that it made it feel like home. Last but not least I cannot forget to mention the food and beverages manager Munther. There's a reason why he is a manager, he is extremely knowledgeable and his customer service skills cannot be compared. I had a unique request of asking for Halal meat for our next trip in January and he said that with his connections he can make it happen. This shows me that this resort will go above and beyond. Munther and Dalel need to be cloned and placed at all Finest and Excellence resorts. This by far was one of the most memorable family trips.

The wonderful staff made our stay unforgettable! Fernando and Eduardo at the beach were so friendly and always happy to see us. Their funny jokes and cheerful personalities made every day more enjoyable. Victor was incredibly hardworking and always there to provide excellent service. The whole team at the adults-only club beach area made us feel so welcome. Jin and Kevin from the entertainment team made us smile every day! Kevin kindly arranged a reservation at Brass for my husband’s birthday, which made the celebration extra special. Jin shared interesting insights into Mexican culture, and we loved talking with her. Lorena at Brass was lovely, attentive, and very helpful. Our experience at Dommo was a highlight, thanks to Victor, Enrico, and Marcos. Enrico and Marcos became our favorites—they were always nearby, happy to see us, and made us feel truly at home. Overall, the people are what make this hotel so special. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and welcoming. We left with wonderful memories, and I honestly wish we could go back tomorrow!
Overall, this is a very nice resort. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We also did a massage at One Spa, which was very good, although I felt it was a little overpriced. The food choices were good overall. Brass Steakhouse, Shoji, and Surf & Turf were definitely our favorites. There are also plenty of activities for the kids, and the staff at Sweet Spot were awesome. There are a few things I think could be improved. First, it would be nice if the resort offered some type of tour or orientation when guests arrive so you know where everything is. I’d also like to see more beach activities where the staff actually gets people involved, as well as more nighttime activities. It feels like the resort basically shuts down after 8 PM, and there really isn’t much going on afterward. The rooms could also use some attention. The pillows were uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The hot water takes forever to come on, and when you shower, the water doesn’t drain properly and can end up flooding the bathroom. The sinks also drain very slowly, and we noticed some leaking around the pipe fittings underneath. We didn’t make a big deal about it with the staff because it wasn’t a major issue for us—we just put towels on the floor and waited for the water to drain—but these are definitely things that should be addressed. The plunge pool is a nice feature, but I think the filtration/circulation system should actually be running. The water basically just sits there, and the staff told us the system does not turn on, which was a little concerning. One other thing that makes absolutely no sense is the dress code at Market Kitchen. Men are not allowed to enter wearing a tank top, yet women are allowed to come in wearing tank tops and even bathing suits. I understand having a dress code, but it should be consistent and applied fairly to everyone. Allowing bathing suits while turning away a man for wearing a tank top is honestly absurd. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The staff, restaurants, kids’ activities, and overall resort experience were good. With better nighttime entertainment, more guest engagement at the beach, more comfortable pillows, consistent dress-code policies, and some attention to the plumbing and plunge pools, the resort could be even better.
Our recent group trip to Finest Playa Mujeres was an absolutely wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious all-inclusive getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the resort. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. It's clear the staff takes great pride in keeping everything pristine, which made for a very relaxing stay. The food was another major highlight. With so many dining options available, we never got bored . Every meal we had was delicious, and the quality was a cut above what you usually expect from an all-inclusive. The variety was extensive, with everything from fantastic steaks at the Brass Steakhouse to fresh seafood and great service at the beachside spots . If I had one minor critique, it would be the Spanish restaurant. While still decent, it didn't quite wow us like the other venues. For a resort in Mexico, we were hoping for a more authentic and elevated Mexican culinary experience . It wasn't bad by any means, just not as memorable as the other fantastic restaurants on-site. The true standout of our trip, however, was the exceptional service by Munther!!!! We traveled with a large group, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. His willingness to help was incredible. He made our group experience so much more enjoyable and inclusive . It's touches like that, and staff members like him, that turn a great vacation into an unforgettable one. Overall: Finest Playa Mujeres is a stunning resort with top-notch food and an incredible staff. Despite the Spanish restaurant being a slight miss on authenticity, the overall experience was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend this resort for families, couples, and especially large groups looking for a stress-free and luxurious vacation. A huge thanks to Munther and the entire team for making our stay so special.
I did not stay at this hotel but I am leaving a review for others to be aware. My best friend had a wedding here and the resort was beautiful and the wedding was stunning and the staff that assisted with the wedding was amazing and efficient. However, my friend had to pay for this wedding and every person that attended but because my husband and I did not stay onsite we had to pay an additional $100 each for a day pass to attend the wedding. This just seemed money hungry and tacky to me for the “luxury” hotel they claim to be. I paid the ridiculous fee and then they could not assure me that I would be allowed in for the ceremony at 3pm because this specific day pass didn’t allow guests to enter until 5pm but they’d give me a courtesy of entering at 4pm. This was very confusing and there was clearly such a lack of communication, and I had even gone a day early to clarify everything and they said I would have to keep up with the bride to find out these details which seemed absurd to me as she already had so much to deal with to keep track of the time one of her guests will be allowed into the resort. The wedding was shut down at 9pm strictly and idk if he was the manager but someone came and didn’t even allow 1more song to be played even though there was another wedding just down the way from us. We all had plans to visit a night club that night so we went to change and when we returned to resort there was some issue with someone from our party paying for transportation and that transportation never being given idk the complete story but the security woman was literally screaming and the brides sister when the bride sister was clearly frustrated that they had been scammed. I think the situation could have been handled more professionally instead of arguing back with your guests. We tried to go have a drink after this entire mess they created with the bridal party but instead they kicked my husband and I off property at 1115pm because the day pass had ended at 11pm… so they wasted our time and could allow us not 1 more minute to make up that lost time. The security checkpoint will have you waiting for 10min before you’re allowed into the property again due to lack of communication between staff members. Based off this crazy experience I wouldn’t bring my money here because they clearly only care about your money and not your experience.
