We visited Cancun last year and stayed at this Hotel. We booked a beach facing room and it was beautiful. The hotel feels old structurally and we liked that old school vibe. The room was spacious and well maintained. The hotel had a pool that was clean and such a wonderful spot for adults and kids to cool in the summer heat of Cancun. It had its private area to the beach which made our experience even better. The beach bar and restaurant had some amazing food and drinks that we enjoyed thoroughly. The hotel had complimentary breakfast which was a great spread. We loved the food. The hotel staff was cordial and friendly. They helped us with getting a guide and ride for the different places we visited during our stay. Overall, we had a great stay here and an amazing family vacation.

Wonderful hotel, a bit old but honestly everything was perfect. I recommend the pool facing rooms, they’re absolutely worth it for an extra price. The bar on the beach has great cocktails, kinda overpriced like all of Cancun. There’s 2 convenience stores close to this hotel, about a 5 minute walk.
Literally the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. We were placed right by the street so the traffic was loud nonstop. The hallway and the room smelled like toxic cleaning supplies, just incredibly noxious and at no point did I get used to the smell. In the hallways sometimes there were trash bins filled with beach towels that permeated a rancid stench all throughout the hallway. The buildings are decrepit, the lighting is fluorescent white and flickery like a haunted hospital, and the shower head was too small and whimpy to make me feel clean. The only good thing about this property is proximity to the beach. Just spend more money and stay somewhere nicer.
Great beach, clean spacious rooms. I would rate 5 stars, if the beach restaurant didn't engage in shadiness. 5 drinks one day was $1,100 MXN. The next day the same drinks their "machine was broken", and it was $1,900 MXN. Also, they claim "tipping in cash is better", because they say the restaurant takes 40% of their tip. Stop with the low class antics. Note that Michel was great and it was not him.
Mario was a great waiter. We were on the beach because knot heads hold Palapas with their shoes which is very frustrating. I wish they would enforce this. The waiters lose out on tips from people not being their to order drinks. Anyway Mario was very attentive and showed up promptly to see if needed anything else. I like drinks while at the beach so this is important to me.
