Whales And Dolphins Watching In Exclusive Sailboat

Writing a frank review as I don't think it warrants the 5 stars it has received. Pluses - max 12 people on the boat is worth the money when you see other boats packed with people. - Easy to book, clear instructions to find the meeting point - jumping off the boat to have a swim in the sea was lovely Minuses - advertised as a three hour excursion but we only had max 30 minutes with the pilot whales. It was magical seeing them but wasn't long enough. I wasn't expecting or wanting three hours looking at the whales but the timeline is not clearly advertised. - was expecting the guide to give us some commentary about the whales but they didn't. Also didn't see any dolphins, nor were they mentioned but appreciate they can't guarantee sightings. - lunch is a single dry roll with a slice of cheese and ham. Cup of water, cup of cola or a can of beer (appreciate no plastic used) - I didn't really care about for the sailboat but conditions meant we used the engine the majority of the time.

Super nice team. Because of traffic we run 10 mins late so we called the company and they waited for us. We travels with our family (3 kids, grandmother, parents)The boat is a sailing yacht and they only take small groups. We were 11 people in total plus our super skipper Javi, who taught us a lot about the island and the whales of course. We saw a huge group of whales who came towards our boat. There was no chasing nor stressing them involved at all. Really a great experience. Thank you

We didn't want a big party boat and this was perfect = 11 people + captain. Oscar was a fantastic host and gave loads of info re the area. We saw whales and dolphins and he was really good about stopping the boat for the whales and keeping the boat moving for the dolphins = who knew that's what they preferred! It was great company and just the right number of people. We had a swim stop and some lunch. 3 hours flew by and before you knew it, heading back to port. Cost was reasonable and overall, definitely recommend this tour.

Unfortunately fell sea sick on this trip so I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to but the hosts were so so helpful. Always making sure I was taken care of and comfortable. Really took care of all of us guests. A special shoutout to the team on the boat that day but also to the gentleman at the meeting point who kindly put us on the next boat as we missed our one! Good vibe overall, food& drinks included and lovely hosts

What an experience!!! Highlight of our holiday! Oscar was our Captain and guide - he was super friendly and an experienced sailor! The ride was smooth! We saw Swordfin Pilot Whales (a sort of dolphin) and it was magical. Also flying fish. And the snorkel swim stop loads of lovely different types of fish. Just a really chilled day out.

The tour was brilliant and our guide Raul was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and very funny. We were able to spot Pilot whales and were able to see them swimming around without disturbing them It was well worth the price!

Travelled today … set sail at 1pm. Checking in was easy and we were guided to our boat. We met Raul our captain and knowledge guru. Spent plenty of time watching pods of dolphins playing in the sea. Unfortunately my daughter had a little sea sickness, Raul was brilliant with her. Value for money trip was worth every euro. Raul was the perfect host and would recommend this trip to everyone! Thank you!!

We had a lovely time, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and managed to see some whales which was great. Only negatives were that the advertised hotel transfers were not available which cost us extra on taxi fares, and there was no vegetarian food available despite me listing that as a dietary requirement so I couldn't eat anything. Despite that we had a lovely afternoon on the boat and I'd do it again.

Fantastic experience! Intimate trip with only 12 people on board. We saw pilot whales, dolphins, turtles, jellyfish, and a flying fish. Two skippers kept us entertained and safe. We were offered drinks and snacks. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic time! Javier was a great captain and Robert was wonderful too. We saw many pilots whales and dolphins. My husband also saw a sea turtle. No one wanted to swim so we spent more time looking for dolphins. They swam close to the boat multiple times. The ham and cheese sandwiches were great because the bread was amazing. Our guides were always helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. There are 2 bathrooms on the boat. One for females and one for male. There is a covered area in back that b is large if you want to avoid the sun. Plenty of seating everywhere. Lovely and clean boat.

It was a perfect day out on the water, sun was shining and we saw pilot whales. The captain, Konrad, was amazing, even though he said his english was bad he did an excelent job entertaining and steering the boat, very professional. I reccomend bringing some snorkles for when we stopped by the coast to swim you could see all kinds of fish and beutiful scenery. I also was really happy that he through a bit of bread into the water as we were snorkling. Saw so many fishes and they came so close. Absolutely amazin, would go again.

Perfect trip so glad we found this, we loved it so much we booked the following day. We were lucky to see turtles, whales, dolphins and flying fish. Nice sized boat, enough space to stand and watch for wildlife and to chill with drinks. Perfect amount of wildlife and local scenery information. Friendly humorous and accommodating staff, once they learned I wanted to see a turtle they tried hard to make sure we spotted one! Although it was down to luck too, their efforts were appreciated. Our crew were Diego Johnny and Conrad. Also an extra thank you to the Blonde lady working on reception- was very helpful.

The trip was truly amazing and the crew Robert and Conrad where very friendly and very casual with us like making jokes and also giving good info about the sea creatures, truly a must for all

This was a wonderful boat trip in the best of weather. We were just 9 people and there was enslave fir everyone on the board. The organization was also perfect. Our experienced skipper Robert put a great effort to find and show us whales and dolphins. One of the whales even went under our boat. I had the full program because I saw also a flying bird and a turtle. We had a refreshing swim in the ocean and drinks and sandwiches served by Robert. This tour might be a bit more expensive than the ones with larger boats but it's totally worth it because of the privacy and flexibility that a smaller boat gives you.

The Captain was very good at informing us what was going to happen and guiding us on where and what we hopefully see. And with that we were able to see the whales in the area. Sandwich and drinks were good. And a swim in the sea was refreshing as well. Only issue the sea had bits on plastic bit bottled and bags.

We had an amazing time on this trip. The skipper was really lovely and made me feel very safe and looked after. I am usually quite a nervous passenger. We saw whales very close up and he was happy to answer any questions we had. Drinks and food were provided and there was plenty of room to sit on the boat. Highly recommended.

Really great morning boat trip to see whales and dolphins. Tony and Alex were great! We really enjoyed how small and calm the boat was, there was only 6 guests so it felt very private.

Excellent boat, nice and private with only 9 passengers on our trip but can be up to 12 but still loads of space. The crew were very attentive Alec and Omar were excellent. Very respectful of the environment when we approached the Pilot whales so as not to disturb them and we could enjoy the experience seeing them in their natural environment. Excellent trip all round, would highly recommend to anyone considering it. We will be back and go again.

The views were amazing, we saw 3 whales and took amazing pictures. The food was fab, sandwiches, fruit, crackers, crisps…drinks were on tap, toilet was clean and staff were very attentive and informative. A brilliant experience would definitely recommend!

We recently took a sailing trip that turned out to be even better than we expected, truly worth every cent. The group was small, just four of us on board, which made the experience feel much more private and luxurious. It was a spontaneous, last minute decision to go, and we were lucky to catch a day with perfect weather and a calm sea, barely any waves at all. Our guide, Nacho (if I caught the name right), was fantastic. He was not only a skilled sailor but also incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information with us throughout the trip. We set off in search of Bottlenose dolphins and Pilot whales. Although we didn’t spot any dolphins, which are harder to see during the day, we were treated to an amazing sight of sleeping Pilot whales, and Nacho explained everything about them in such a fascinating way. Later, we anchored near a beautiful beach for a swimming break. While we didn’t go in ourselves, the other two guests did, and it looked like a lot of fun. The sea temperature was a bit chilly at around 21°C. We were also offered drinks and cheese and ham sandwiches. I don’t eat meat, but simply removed the ham and still enjoyed it. The entire trip was peaceful, scenic, and incredibly relaxing. If I had the chance, I would absolutely go again. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a more intimate and serene sailing adventure.

Jonny and Alec were wonderful. Crazy experience and i recommend to everyone. The price can maybe make u think that is expensive but it is all worth it.

We had two trips; on the catamaran with Jonny & Slava and on on the yacht with Nacho & Joel, both trips were really great - we saw whales and dolphins on both trips, the guys were very knowledgeable about both the animals and the local environment and looked after us really well.

What a trip! We spent half a day out on the water with a private yacht (10 of us in all). We went around the bay area and saw pilot whales, dolphins and even a turtle, followed by a nice swim by the cliffs. Our captain Nacho was excellent, and had a lot of fun facts about all the animals we saw.

Fabulous! Captain was friendly and helpful. No loud music on board. Just the sound of the sea. Saw 15 pilot whales in a pod and 3 dolphins with them. Can’t recommend enough. Yacht only takes max 10 so plenty of space.

It was an amazing experience to see Whales close up. We went out on a day when the sea was a bit choppy and a couple of thf passengers were ill. The staff on board were really helpful, giving them advice on the best place to sit to feel better. The captain was knowledgeable about the whales and dolphins and the area in general. Can’t rate White Tenerife highly enough.

An ideal way to spend the morning! We got multiple up-close encounters with short-finned pilot whales, which made for great pictures. The boat was very clean and well maintained. Thanks to our excellent guide, Arturo, for doing a great job spotting the whales and teaching us about them. He was very kind and professional. Would definitely recommend this trip.

We had a great time aboard Arturo’s boat. Both relaxing and luxurious feeling on the boat. Great for couples, friends and family. You get the full experience of safari and relaxing boat ride with a swim stop. The captain looks out for everyone and has good knowledge of the area. Saw a lot of whales!

Amazing cruise with my family and only few other people on the boat. We saw the whales (grindwhales) and listened information about them. Our skipper Arturo told us stories and interesting information about ocean animals and their behavior. Food and drinks were included.

Fantastic experience, totally worth it! Wonderful crew, thank you Ismael and Captain Slava! Saw pilot whales, males, females, mums with babies. Ismael told us a lot about the sealife. Wonderful. The crew were very respectful of this sanctuary and were very careful not to get too close or overstay the time allocated to each viewing. We were very lucky to be upgraded to the catamaran which was incredibly comfortable and spacious. We chose this trip for the small numbers. We thoroughly recommend WhiteTenerife and would love to do the 5 hour trip for our next visit. Thanks again to Ismael and Slava!

Be patient and enjoy the views. Remember they’re wild animals and may choose not to show themselves ! We were lucky enough to see a few pilot whales but right at the end. Great watching a sailing boat in action as well. We were given a choice of drink (soft, beer or wine), a cheese and ham sandwich and an apple.

I was anxious ahead of the trip about being on the sea but there was no need as the crew Slavi and Arturo were very experienced and knowledgeable and most hospitable. Four adults in our party spent the most enjoyable 3 hours on the water. We were treated to several close sightings of whales and during the trip the crew rescued a protected species bird which was transferred to another vessel. There was a swimming and snorkelling opportunity towards the end of the trip for those who wished to partake. Drinks and food (sandwiches, Spanish tortilla, meat, cheese, crisps, sliced fruit) were provided.

We had an amazing time on the boat. We got to see a few small whales up close and we saw some small sharks in the distance. After that we took a nice trip along the coast and had some time for swimming and snorkeling. The tour guide did a perfect job. Overall a really relaxed and great experience

A great trip! Took my Grandma who has Alzheimer’s and my mother who struggles with her mobility. Raul the captain was brilliant with them both and was very informative about the pilot whales and sea life.

Fab morning out and seen plenty of whales. We stopped at a bay and all had a nice dip in the sea, would highly recommend if your looking for something to do while in Tenerife!
